i am colombian but i live in the usa... colombians and pretty much the whole world love soccer...my question is...how come USA being the best at almost every sport, is not passionate for soccer which is the most important sport in the world??...its time for USA to rise up and conquer this sport that is enjoyed by millions world wide....go USA.....lets show the world that USA lives soccer...i preffer to call it football...but anyway...USA USA USA USA!!!!!!!!!!!!

@P081833 maybe not everyone is a soccer fan in america, but the ones who are soccer fans are pretty passionate about it.

@P081833 Its really more our patriotism than anything else. If its an international game expect alot of viewers and supports, any other normal club game barely gets watched.
For example, MLS game average 249,000 views per game(quite low for a country of 300 million)
while the USA World cup matches in 2010 averaged well over 15 million viewers each.

That's cause we aren't the best at soccer so it's pointless to watch MLS. I don't watch MLS but I love to watch world cup teams men and women.

Americans love sports and they love their country. Soccer isnt a top 5 sport in America but during the World Cup or major international events they absolutely support the USA
