Hi Ewen! Great stuff your movie!! I'm new to making Time Lapse videos so can you tell me how you arrange your pan shots when taking images? Do you have an inclination potentiometer on your tripod or how do you do it? And what cam do you use for pictures and/or videos? Regards Dave
Starts off OK but when the tartan n' bagpipes music starts, it's all downhill.
Have to agree with EVC1 (yawn), obviously no insight and zero radicalism, unforgiveable repetition of scenes and doesn't venture out of the central Edin box. If this was a student piece, it's a 2.2 at best. Come on, this city is full of visual surprises, why so pedestrian.
go to independentrepublicofthecanongate blog to see what city council think of our heritage and residents and see the Save Our Old Town Campaign too, come and get involved in The Canongate Project starting in May
Im a comin your way next summer my friend. I'll be in Scotland for a month, in '09. I wasn't planning on bringing my tripod, but after seeing this video, I guess time lapse will be on the agenda!!

How exactly can music be "tartan"? Also, they aren`t "bagpipes", they are Scottish small pipes. There`s a big difference. Obviously no insight....

Another very fine piece of work. Edinburgh really suits this treatment. I can't think of anywhere it would work quite as well.

5*, A well put together sequence. Really enjoyed watching that. Recognised a lot of the locations even though I have only visited once for the Fringe.
Where is that monument with the large pillars that features a lot in this video?

Its the Disgrace on Calton Hill, east end of Princes St. Surprised you missed it
