@paultheuglydog I think he was talking either on his ham radio or recording it to send back to the states. Not specifically sure whom he was speaking to.
@pianomagic88 yes, there was a guy selling these on ebay, I think his handle there and here used to be like jms888. hopefully, he's still there. i got some of my tapes from him even the PT choir tape.
Later in the tape, it's so sad that people feel they have to suck up to Jones. Where they take turns talking about how they'd like to kill defectors from the People's Temple, including their own family members. His laughter is so creepy and disturbing when they talk about wanting to kill and torture for their cause. I see why they did it. I would rather have seen Jones in a good mood, too, if I'd been there.

The isolation box was the invention of I believe Tom Grubbs, the school teacher. The isolation box was placed at the top of a hill first, than put down into a whole, if I remember correctly from Raven, the classic tome by Tim Reiterman. Is that Leon Broussard in the picture w/ the uniformed officer
