  • @TRHclub Reunion?? They broke it off?? When?

  • 4him, I AM THAT GENERATION! Thank you for the song, You have shown the light of Jesus to us, and I am following in his footsteps! Therefore, you're song is a sucess! :)

  • its true we shouldnt rant on people. but we gotta stand for our faith in Jesus Christ. we aint gonna bend or break no matter the obstacles or were this world is headin

  • man i love this song POWERFUL MESSAGE!

I wont compromise in a world of desperation

What has been I cannot change

    But for tomorrow and today

I must be a light for future generations

  • So I wont bend and I wont break

I wont water down my faith

I wont compromise in a world of desperation

What has been I cannot change

    But for tomorrow and today

I must be a light for future generations

  • Beautiful!

  • @bloodngutspatriot ...Undoubtly, you arent coming from the same background that I am. With all do respect, Baptist believes Once Saved, Always saved.

  • This song is a message for my heart. I love it. I could listen to it all day long.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • wonderful song...the best

  • Another favorite 4 Him song. Are we providing The Message for Future Generations?

  • @whitesox1team not necessarily because the fact that we do know why the earth was created through science. there doesn't have to be a purpose for our existence. when certain elements come together, newer things get created. religion is the one going in circles, science is a chain that expands everyday with newer discoveries. who created god? the universe could have been existing forever. if there is a god, i am not willing to wait and waste my life for something that may be nothing.

  • @physicskid1 We're here to give Glory To God Almighty! :D HALLELUJAH! :D That's an awesome Purpose!

  • @whitesox1team yeah i have tried that, and nothing ever happened. in the 11 years that i was a christian, i prayed for him to reveal himself to me, but it never happened. although i am 99% atheist, i am 1% agnostic, so i do give god a small window to work with if that's necessary. the earth is an amazing thing, but just because the process is so delicate, it doesn't make it god.

  • @physicskid1 You cant stop being a Christian...Once Saved, Always Saved...Will be praying for you! God bless you.

  • @whitesox1team i am not contradicting myself at all. god may have used evolution to create us. just because the chances are slim that something doesn't happen doesn't make it impossible. if there is a dice with 1 trillion sides to it, even though the chances to roll 1 specific side are very slim, it's still possible. the only way that i would be able to see that god had a part to play is if it was physically impossible for something to happen and then it does happen, then i might consider.

  • @whitesox1team in 1900, a guy went to a patent office and asked one of the clerks, "why is there still a patent office? everything that can be invented has been invented?" 111 years later, we look back in amazement. there is physical proof that we have evolved, there is scientific explanation for wind currents, springs, and mountains, and just because everything hasn't been discovered yet doesn't mean that it never will be discovered. there is no proof and never will be proof that god exists

  • @whitesox1team i looked this song up because i saw these guys in concert when i was a little kid and i liked the tone of the music. jesus is just a copy cat of other religions. it would surprise you how much i know about christianity because i know more than what you think. i'm just going to feel bad for you when you find out that you ruined your life searching for some mystical being. i don't believe in god the same way i don't believe in santa claus, i outgrew it.

  • @whitesox1team no, religion is used as a fear factor because it scares people into thinking that if they don't believe the same way as you do that they will go to hell. i have physical proof that Global warming is real, whether if it's human-caused or not, that's the debate. i never asked for his son to die in the first place. if i saw god in person, i would say "well, sorry for all the trouble because i still think u are a pile of crap".

  • @whitesox1team well actually Global Warming is becoming more and more relevant every single day, there is overwhelming proof that there was evolution and the big bang theory is becoming more of a law. i am double majoring in geological science and geography and i promise you, all the things that you said are dumb and a joke are anything but dumb or a joke. what i find as dumb and a joke is christians thinking they can put scientific fact to god's existence when there is none

  • @whitesox1team that's fine, but there is no proof that god exists now or ever existed in the first place. u can't look at religion from the inside out, but from the outside in. i have tried to seek god for 11 years. the churches that i have been in have told me that bed time story over and over again. i have done that, and i know it may have worked for people 2000 years ago, but it didn't work for me. and with science getting more advanced on a daily basis, it's proving that there is no god

  • @whitesox1team well, if there is someone that is currently living that lived back in the 1700s, you let me know lol. YOU are the one that is in denial. here's how you can prove that a god doesn't exist: pray for something and watch it not happen.

  • @physicskid1 scientific proof that god did a miracle, ha that's a laugh. the only reason why u think it's a miracle is because u are not smart enough to figure out what truly happened. the reason why i became an atheist was because i saw what religion was. i was not seeing it for myself, and i refuse to believe something that does not make halfway sense to me. in the 11 years that i was a christian, i cannot think of a single time that god actually did something for me.

  • @whitesox1team i do know of that scripture about god creating a new earth, but it still doesn't give us the right to pollute the air, strip the land, pretty much do whatever we want to the earth. so you are telling me that god is causing the earthquakes, the horrendous storms, all of these crazy phenomena? if this is what your god is doing, i don't want any part in it. if not serving your god is wrong, i don't want to be right.

  • @physicskid1 Yes, our God is "causing earthquakes, horrendous storms, all of these crazy phenomena". He also causes death, . You say "If this is what your god (sic) is doing, i (sic) don't want any part in it." Fine. Salvation is entirely voluntary. However, it's in YOUR best interests to believe, but no one can make you. Believers will make it to heaven, if you want your ticket punched too then accept Christ, it's that easy.

  • Christians tell me that u will not understand what Christianity is until u become one. what a lot of people don't realize though is that i was a Christian for 12 years. now, i am agnostic. i am not saying that there is/isn't a god, but i am leaning toward atheism. this is a pretty song, but the message behind it is bothering because it is giving people permission to harm this planet. if there is a god, why would u think it would be okay to harm one of God's greatest gift, which is the Earth?

  • @physicskid1 the only evil we face is God, and Christians are just speeding up the process. "this world would be perfect if there was no religion in it" -John Adams

  • Ezekiel also prophesied that Nebuchadnezzar would destroy Tyre, which would never again be rebuilt (26:7-14, but Nebuchadnezzar's siege of Tyre failed to take the city, and Tyre still exists today

  • Ezekiel, for example, prophesied that Nebuchadnezzar would destroy Egypt and leave it utterly desolate for a period of 40 years, during which no foot of man or beast would pass through it (chapter 20), but history recorded no such desolation of Egypt during or after the reign of Nebuchadnezer

  • Beautiful song. :)

  • Who cares if we trash the earth, because some day twinkle-toes Jesus is going to descend from outer space and take us up to heaven. Then he'll melt the whole earth.

  • @LambadLambadLambda Dude, when Jesus comes back, it will be as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Lamb of God, It will be as the Alpha and Omega, the Great I AM, Prince of Peace, Emanuel, Chief Cornerstone, Bread of Life . I would not be so disrespectful with your comments. You will one day bow before HIm as either your judge or Savior. Either way, you will bow to the Great Lord of Hosts. I don't know you, but hope you will repent of your comment and seek forgiveness of sin.

  • @x001m69

Dude, Jesus is not coming back.

You've been waiting 2000+ years for him. Time to give it up. However the Earth is REAL, and what we do to it actually has an affect on our lives, and the lives of many other creatures on this planet.

  • @LambadLambadLambda There is way to much biblical evidence proving the authenticity of its word for me to give up. Although I do not know exactly when, the fact the Lord is coming back one day is more of a certainty than any other thing I know. Nearly 3/4 of all prophetic writings from scripture has come to pass. Only the prophecies of the end times have not occured.

  • @x001m69

Do you realize what you just said, "there is too much biblical evidence proving the authenticity of the word". So the bible proves that the bible is true? The bible is true because the bible says so. See any problem with this logic?

  • @LambadLambadLambda actually no! Evidence 1 bible foretold the re-emergence of roman empire Today, Euopean Union is the Roman empire. 2, bible foretold that after nearly 2000 years that Israel would again become a nation. This occured in 1948. In no other time in recorded history has a country ceased to exist and then came to power again. Never, so what would be the odds that a bible passage written thouands of years ago concerning one country be accurate without it being inspired.

  • @x001m69

You believe the European Union is the Roman Empire? Wow! If you believe that is true, I'm not sure what else to say.

But where did the bible predict the "re-emergence of the roman empire". I don't think it says anything about that, but if it did, it's a false prophesy. And where did it predict Israel would become a nation again? You'll probably point to some really cryptic verse and claim it's about Israel.

  • @LambadLambadLambda I suppose it would be better said that the emergence of the European Union mirrors what Daniel 2 and 7 teaches about the fifth and final empire being an extension or part of the fourth which was Rome. Regarding rebirth of Israel, Ezekiel 37:1-14. This verse is pretty clear. Look, you asked a question so I answered it. If you don't believe it, fine. I'm not trying to convince you. I'm just pointing to what the scriptures say.

  • @x001m69

So that scripture is talking about bones being brought to life, corpses being brought out of the grave. And that he would dwell in their land. The Jews rejected Jesus, so does God still "live in their land". And didn't we place them their, not God?

That's the problem with this biblical prophosy. Am I obtuse by not being impressed with that one? Let's get real here.

  • @LambadLambadLambda My understanding or lack thereof is not what determines the validity of biblical truth. I do not approach scripture having to be "impressed" before I will believe it. Lets just say I approach it with a little more humility. The point is that Ezekiel 37:1-14 written thousands of years ago taught that Israel would be reborn in the last days. It happened in 1948 with God orchestrating the events, using the countries of the world to make it happen.

  • @LambadLambadLambda The bones and corpses represents the life of Israel coming back from the grave. I suppose you can call all the fulfilled prophecies mere coincidences, but the statistical possibility of all the prophecies coming to pass by chance is basically zero unless you believe that there is a great God behind it. If you don't believe it, that is your freedom.

  • @x001m69

If you have the liberty to make a prophesy say whatever you want it to say, then the probability of it being correct is 100%.

  • @LambadLambadLambda I don't have the liberty to make it say what I want it to say. Ezekiel 37:11 indicates the context is the nation of Israel and God says in verse 14 that He will place them in their own land. Dry bones is symbolic of death and and God will bring the dry bones back to life. This interpretation as been esctablished for thousands of years and it came to pass in 1948. I'm not making it up after the fact out of convenience.

  • @x001m69

The prophesy's of Nostradamus are more convincing than these biblical prophesies. Write down a bunch of vague metaphors, and soon or later an event will come to pass which will fulfill it.

Speaking of Ezekiel, what about all of his failed prophesies?

  • @LambadLambadLambda You are someone who doesn't believe and no matter what I share will not change your belief. that is why I said I'm not trying to convince you. We both look at the world through two entirely different sets of lenses. Its not my need or want to be right in a debate. I believe there are no failed prophecies in any book of the bible.

  • @LambadLambadLambda I can go on,but won't take the time. Current events gives credibility to the Word and I stand by it. If you choose not to, that is your choice. Question though. Based on what authority do you claim your position to be accurate? Just curious!!

  • @LambadLambadLambda If you not excepted Jesus in your life, you will not understand the bible in its fullest. You will never know the present of God not until you experience it,the devil blinds us so we don't see what we need to see and that's why we argue about a lot of things that we feel is not right.Jesus loves you even thou you hate Him.....He will never stop loving you.People walk with emptiness inside of them not knowing they need Jesus Christ to fulfill that emptiness.

  • THis is my motto...I walked out of an abusive marriage after 15 years and this is my theme song....I am BEING a light for my children and grandchildren.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Love this group.......

  • I agree, this is one of the best Christian songs ever...very inspirational.

  • exelent song

  • Awesome, Great song!

  • I agree completely, kirk, you said it well.

  • I love it! "I won't bend I won't break We won't water down our faith."

Praise God for people who will stand up for what is right in a world of compromise.

  • i love this song and this group...thanks for posting..may i know what is their religion?

  • @jazuneedme Its Christianity =)

  • i always listened to this song but never really saw the meaning until now, as i type this now i cry feeling like i failed to realize what i was missing was the ability to say i wont bend and i have let this world bend me beyond my breaking point but that has stopped and now i will not let this world bend me PRAISE GOD!

  • Thanks for posting this WONDERFUL song!

  • Good song. I spent much of my life in politics, using politics as a means to "save the world." While much of it was good work, much of it is vain. I've finally concluded it is ignorant to spend time on a cause when souls are lost, unless by that cause you can glorify God and use your earnings and/or position to influence the lost and exhort the believers. This song puts earthly causes in perspective.

  • How long until you "environmentalist" understand this is about Jesus coming back for His, and not about global warming & tree huggers? Jesus said" I am the way ,the truth, and the life". He came aand gave His all because of His love for us. May you find your way in Him.

  • The earth is as important as Heaven

  • is there any videos of them singing this?

  • Awesome song!!!

  • at first i didnt like this song, but then i realized the meaning, awesome song

  • Tears flow now as I listen, as they did when the "BestOnes" cd was often listened to every day some 10 years ago in my darkest hour.. may this song inspire some one to be a better father than I was.. Blessings to 1 and all... MW/Breez

  • wonder song i love it :)

  • 4Him is just the best!

They sing to praise our God!!

  • I love hearing this song, its truly inspiring.

  • what is this song about?

  • I believe the meaning of song is, we see the Earth's environment being corrupted by man, but some believe the spiritual leadership of " environmentalism" will somehow save mankind. Environmentalism is just another one of man's false gods. What we (as Christians) should be trying to do as this Earth age pasts away, is the call of GOD to witness and share our faith with others.

The Bible says that this world will pass away eventually. A new Heaven and Earth awaits those of Our Lord's kingdom.

  • Kirk1931...I agree and disagree. I think that this song is talking about how we are focusing too much on saving the enviorment and are becoming slaves to it. The Bible says to rule over to earth, therefore, we can't let it rule over us. I think that the Earth isn't being corrupted by man, because like you said, The Bible says the world will pass, so I think that it is doing that & we are seeing the process of it. I agree we can't let enviromentalism become a god before God. Nice comment.

  • i disagree i think that it is saying that yes we should care for the planet cause it is a gift from God but that the people on earth should come first and that we should be trying to save them the most

  • Agreed, but I still stand by my word :)

  • @RainingScilence Dear environmentalists this song has nothing to do with the environment. This song was written about living in the last days and leaving a spiritual legacy for our children and those we leave behind. (4Him member)

  • @lane1959 What I said is only part of the message I got from the song, I was just adressing the same subject as everyone else. There's definitely much more to the song than the environment.

  • @kirk1931 "Environmentalism is just another one of man's false gods." that is one of the most infuriating statements I've ever heard. There is absolutely nothing falsified about wanting to protect this planet and the other inhabitants that live in it. This earths age isn't passing naturally we are destroying it. Interpret this beautiful song as you will but don't use this song to justify the destruction we cause upon this earth while animals become endangered everyday because of how we live

  • @TBon3Supl3x I agree with you to a point, there is nothing wrong with wanting to take care of the environment, but not at the cost of our children's faith. And the earth isn't going to die at our hands, it will only die when God decides to destroy it and remake it in perfection. Yes, we need to conserve what we have, but moderate your love of the earth. If you're going to be radical about something, make it your FAITH IN CHRIST!

  • @DavidbarZeus1 No one has ever had to jeopardize a child's faith in order to take care of the earth. What you have to do is I don't know, conserve energy, not litter, not idle your car, recycle... yeah anything in there would be great. Telling yourself the earth is in gods hands does not rid you of responsibility to take care of the world he has provided us with. I enjoy this song but I honestly thing 4Him let right wing ideology get in the way of a song that should have been simply about faith

  • @TBon3Supl3x lol As a Ex-Pastor Many Of The Ones That Claim The Faith Have Decided it is OK To sit In The Church and Debate With Others In The Church about doctrine we know that the world was Created By God and we Know Some Worship the Creation Before The Creator so to Attack anyone first off with out a Invite shows a lack of respect and you shut down your chance to witness and label all in your Denomination Secondly your Given A Opportunity By 4 Him and Shown How to Mix The Truth in music hint

  • @uniqueserviceinc all your called to do is share your joy not make others feel like they are stupid for what they believe .Their is a Balance and I left the Church Because Of them That believe In Church Government More than The Love Of God I found that Loving The Hell Out Of People Works So much Better then Telling them you love them and their going to hell unless they become robots and think like you and act like you and share you system of beliefs perhaps God Wanted Us to Have Our Own Idenity

  • @uniqueserviceinc well just remember..:)) Don't blame The Dear Lord Jesus for what people do.:o)

  • @kirk1931 Russ Lee's Upside Down song when he was with truth touched on that. "when the life of a tree comes first"

  • This brings back memories...

  • mui bien! greatest.

  • Great song!

  • tremendous song !
