okay, so the guy in black arguably was over shot, but either way he overreacted. paintballs dont hurt that bad, imo airsoft hurts more. paintballs are more of a punch than a sting like a BB. that just has to do with their size, the less surface area there is, the more pressure on your skin there is, so its just a sharper pain. a paintball that close does suck though lol

It does not hurt twenty five feet away however paintball at twenty five feet away still hurts and leaves a more visible mark. Paintball even scenario players don't go to the lengths that airsoft fags do to emulate SOF members. Airsoft is for valor thieves.

@smoothoperator427 there is less pressure exerted on your skin from a paintball. it has a larger surface area of contact on your body, so it has less pressure exerted. and the reason airsofters "dress up" like SOF members is because that gear is necessary to be effective in airsoft. in paintball you have a pod vest, and in airsoft you need mag pouches and pads because typically, arenas are indoors with cement floors.

I wear the same thing in airsoft as paintball and airsoft feels like a huge wasp stinging u as paintball feels like someone found a Hal of fish oil that pops sometimes when it hits someone the ones that bounce on me don't hurt because they are to far away but airsoft never pops so there is more kinetic energy of for a smaller impact distance but paintball spreads in a distance so one spot doesn't feel that whole ball hitting you now that would hurt more but airsoft wins in everything so it wins

@Aldicon airsoft does hurt more. just because paintballs are bigger and way more doesnt mean it hurts more. paintballs break when they hit you. bbs for airsoft dont. no matter how close you are they dont break, causing you to bleed sometimes. and even if an airsoft bb does break, its just like shrapnel, it breaks into small sharp pieces that get stuck in your skin VERY easily.

@coltsrule98 I completely agree with you. Airsoft DOES hurt more. Plus Airsoft BBs are flying at 350+ FPS while paintball is 300 and below FPS. Paintballs kinetic energy disperse when the ball breaks (why bounces hurt more) and your body has to completely absorb the airsoft BB.

Plus, paintballs are 10x bigger then BBs, so they have 10x more kinetic force due to them having more mass. Just because paintball or airsoft hurts more, does not make either any better then the other one. People should just stop bickering. They are two completely different feeling when you are playing them.

In Paintball you wear t-shirt Jersy, and pack. Paintball pants (panding only really made for sliding) and BBall shorts under.

You wear more for Airsoft than Paintball.

I tackled my buddy once, i shot 15+ balls at him, and not one of them broke some how, but I shot a person farther away than him right before that and they got out, so my buddy shot back and I honestly thought he did it because he wanted like payback or something so i dropped my gun and he kept shooting as I ran at him, and i busted almost as I tackled him, shook him around ferociously and scared him shitless lol, I later figured out what happened and deeply apologized though
