  • what song is this ?

  • @masterof94 The Blessed Dead from the album In their darkened shrines

  • this is insane!!!!!!!!!

  • derek roddy does in his fuck use a gayarse sonor triple pedal. fucking nonsense

  • Comment removed

  • was totally awesome till he dropped the stick.i hate it when sticks get dropped.

  • Derek Roddy does use a triple pedal setup. Go look at one of his serpents rise videos. His performance with Nile although short is greatly appreciated.

  • He HAD a double pedal on one kick and a single on the other for a while because they were different sizes, now he's back to two single pedals. The other pedals are for high hats.

  • One hell of a drummer! Hank, you should've gotten up there and shown the rest of those guys how it's done.

  • ****Rumors**** he will be on the road with Morbid Angel..Pete is taking a long break...

  • O M G !!

  • anyone know what tour this was?

  • Nile + Tim is like fucking Brutal.

Nile New album is BRUTAL AS FUCK!!!

  • Kollias is just as fast if not faster.. how is this guy better? like i said.. both are up there in their own league... far beyond our capabilities..

  • same if not derrek roddey, but derrek does use a triple pedal but whatever

  • Uhmm, Derreck does not use a triple pedal dumbass.

  • really now?

he uses a triple pedal you "information guru"

fucking ignorant people like you like to talk shit before you even have your facts right

dont comment back, you worthless waste of sperm

  • HAHAHAHA

I'm not the ignorant one here.

He has three pedals. One is a double pedal for his right bass drum and the other is a single pedal for his left bass drum which is tuned differently than the right one, so he can make two diff bass sounds. He does not use and never has and I hope NEVER WILL use a triple pedal.

I'm not the "waste of sperm" here man.

  • yeah u should open ur eyes and watch clips better b4 saying he uses a triple pedal then trying to insult guys who put u in ur place lol

  • you stupid fuck, you seriously dont get it he uses a Sonor Giant Step Triple Pedal LOOK IT THE FUCK UP, retard

  • Okay, if you think you're so right, then tell me what he uses it for. Certainly not his double bass, because he uses an Axis pedal for that. Maybe he uses a Giant Step for his left bass drum since he doesn't have a double pedal for it, and can't go as fast on it.

You just need to calm down, man!

  • fuckin' sweet

  • C'mon dudes.. they are both good... if anyone of u can play better than u can say they suck.. but both are really good drummers.. i would not mind AT ALL having one of em in my band..

  • lol i hope not, or else you would be fucking retarded xD tim & kollias ftw..

  • not really.

  • he recovered nicely with when he dropped the drum stick... 3:35

  • Wow! This even has Jon the old bassist in it. Excellent.

  • See! I miss this Tim! Im not a huge fan of his current projects but I love his drumming

  • Kollias is better.

  • agreed.

  • What a monster

  • what song?

  • The Blessed Dead.

  • Yeah this is pretty old.

  • is this old nile? cause kollias is the current drummer and i dont recognize the singer.

  • I'm pretty sure that Tim Yeung was just filling in for Kollias.

  • this is before george, he is filling in for laureano

  • I think the singer is Spires. He's a beast.

    His vocals were pretty tasty.

  • your mom is tasty, hahaha, tim kicks ass

  • how does he not get tired? i mean seriously that shit is like elite fitness right there!!

  • seriously yeah, i'm wondering too...

  • Propper technique goes a long way.

  • Unfuckin' believeable. Tim Yeung is a serious badass.

    BC

  • hell fucking yeah!

  • Fucking learned Nile's whole set list 10 days before they started the tour and owned this song so well.

  • tim really did do a good job..this will definitely give him a good name....being able to keep up with George in all.

and that stick recovery was amazing. haha

  • 3:33.FAST recovery...just playin this song must be crazy hard, but headbanging and swingin your drumsticks around while playin,, thats just fuking insane!! Tims a beast...

  • Did he stick drop around 3:34? If so he did a pretty quick recovery =D

  • yea he did lol . still pulled it off tho :P

  • When was that concert,i dindnt know that tim play with nile!

  • Ya! Cast Down the Heretic :D

  • Dude thats not cast down the heretic. I dont' know what song it is though. lol :D

  • The Blessed Dead

  • timmy's got to be carefull while headbanging and drumming at the same time, hes gonna get a drumstick in the eye or something

  • best drummer out there

  • He is definately one of the best drummers out there! Thats for fuckin sure!

  • He is fuckin great drummer and great person!!! He's my friend and drink Mescal!!!

    -his Personal Security

  • Really good drumming.

Tim yeung is a great death metal drummer; see him in Vital remains and Hate eternal !

  • Hence my saying "it looks like" I know hes not doing that. Just settle down dude.

  • GEORGE>tim

  • At about 1:15 it looks like hes crashing the cymbals with his hair. Kind of like in the old kung fu movies where guys use their hair as a weapon.

  • Well he's not you moron.

  • Enmity666 is a dick.

  • Tim is the coolest sounding of the ultra speed drummers

  • the best part of this is that III filmed it hahaha.

  • dont yell at me cause i dont know. but wheres george?

  • George Kollias,

    the current drummer for nile.

He's awesome! Brutal speed, endurance and accuracy.

    mfg Markus

  • i know hes one of my favourite drummer im asking where is he and why is tim yeung from divine heresy here.

  • Oh, I'm sorry =/

I read who instead of where...

    mfg Markus

  • read description

and its clearly taken when tim was drumming for nile

its not too difficult to grasp

  • well sorry for not knowing buddy.

  • should be sorry for being a douche aswell

    read descriptions

saves you from looking like a wanker

  • He asking where George was at the time.

Not who was drumming while he was gone.

That's not too difficult to grasp is it?

  • and i told him, anywhere but behind the drum kit

  • It's before George.

  • FUCKIN A!RIGHT ON BRO

  • Tim is THE SHIT ! he's my fucking favorite drummer :P

  • How do you just fill in for NILES drummer? Alien? Perhaps...

  • George Kollias FTW.

  • sweet

  • It sounds like he might be doing one-handed drum rolls in some sections.

I'm not sure, would need a higher quality audio to tell.

  • I think about 3.40 is a one handed roll. The rest is standard blast beats with incredible precision and inhuman accuracy/endurance/speed. I mean, bloody hell!

  • Yeah, it says alot about Tim Yeung that he was chosen to temporarily replace George Kollias, who in my opinion is one of the best metal drummers out there at the moment.

    Tim Yeung pwns ^_^

  • I think this was in the Tony Laureno era or immediately after that...they've got the Blessed Dead line up with Jon vesano on bass. None the less, it is true that the guy is nailing the whole thing in his first show the guys.

Not sure even Tim could keep up with George but its posible :-D

  • full credit to Tony Laureano for his work on shrines though.. he is brilliant

  • oh absolutely!

  • Haha, I don't think THAT many people could keep up with George :P

  • This guy is not human!!!!!!!!!!

  • tim yeung won the fastest drummer competition, this dude is top 3 best drummers out there rite now behind gene hoglan and jon rice from job for a cowboy

  • TIM YEUNG IS AWSOME!!!

  • yeah, but can he play like ThE WhItE StRiPeS, eh?

  • Holy fuck..

  • This guy is incredible ! Definitively a sick drummer !

  • Like a moth beating its wings... beautiful.

  • Hehe, it's not often you see the DRUMMER doing the helicopter.

    Nice vid!

  • whats the tempo if those blasts/double bass?

  • 666 bpm

  • i havent clicked it but i guess it is around 250bpm + - 5bpm

  • George Kollias has had some tracks laid down that have claimed to be some of the fastest ever, The song Sacrifice Unto Sebek clocks in at 271 bpm in the ending section, which is almost impossible to acheive for most drummers

  • yeah why dont you check out "The Chosen Legacy" by Dimmu Borgir. Then you will know impossible.

  • ever heard of constant motion or heel toe? Well I absolutely love hellhammer's drumming but he uses this technique. Good to know when comparing drumming speeds.

  • on the chosen legacy? are you sure? it sounds heel toe to me.

  • That heel/toe rolling techninque is awkward as hell to do, but it sounds so damned good.

I never realized what a great drummer Tim is, he should be in a better band than Divine Heresy!

  • you should check him out ion Decrepit Birth and Aurora Borealis

  • yes Decrepit Birth!

  • lol it's like down picking at godly speeds its hard to master but it's brutal=p

  • sucks you cant really here some parts because of the production of the album

  • It's a good thing he dropped a stick during a break rather than during a blast beat section!

  • The song is called The Blessed Dead.

  • what song is this?

  • Seems like he's getting really angry after losing the stick. He's blasting even harder than before and bangs the shit out of his head :D

  • i just came hard, tim is the most underrated drummer........

  • Definately I completely agree with you, In my opinion the best three DM drummers are George Kollias, Derek Roddy and Tim Yeung

  • joey sucks a fat one

  • FUCKING HELL!!! I knew I seen someone recording this show in Arizona!! Thx for puting this shit up! Tim is flawless!!

  • Ya he's bad, but George is bad ass too.

  • Damn he's fucking awesome! I would love to see him and Joey Jordison in the same room, I love Joey but Tim will kick his ass! \m/

  • You do realize that Tim Yeung is undisputably one of the fastest double-kick drummers right? Nearly 900 hits in a minute, falling short of the world record at that time by 132 strokes (131 would equal, 132 would beat it). Joey has nothing on that =|

  • Tim Yeung won speed competition dude, Joye is WAY slower then Tim. You will NEVER see/hear Joey doing some double bass at 240 BMP. NEVER!

  • its not impossible.... but tim is WOOHOO GOOD MAN!!!

  • Well, I'm not sure why I have so many thumbs down for daring to say someone can increase their foot speed with practice. Joey isn't on par with Tim Yeung, but he's no slouch either and I don't see how he can't improve.

  • yeah JJ's feet arent anything compared to this guys, look up Divine Heresy and find the video for Bleed The Fifth and youll see what I mean

  • right fuckin on, that is jammin!

  • I always thought Nile was best with Tim. Thanks for putting this up.
