  • From far and wide, the world will see Ontario & Michigan rises with both Commonwealth-US ! We will work together, for an extended global influence, from West to Eastern Sea, North and South hemispheres!

May capitalism and globalization ever hails!

  • Sharing borders at Lake Superior, Huron. Ontario-Michigan friendship will never end! So does Commonwealth-US friendship!

Our North America, hope one day we will be united, strong and free. With capitalism we prosper!

  • O Western Ontario and Michigan, we stand on guard for thee.

  • Travaillons ensemble. Soyons fiers de notre diversité culturelle et nos DEUX LANGUES OFFICIELLES.

Let's work together. Let's be proud of our cultural diversity & BOTH OFFICIAL LANGUAGES.

  • it doesn.t matter what part of onterio this is filmed. all of canada is beautifull east coast. west coast god bless canada.and you canadians..

  • what part of Southern Ontario i mean

  • so just curious, where did you do all of your filming?

  • Damnit, that version gets cut off towards the end! I want the whole song uploaded next time!!

  • Yeah I always get disappointed at the end too :(

  • The Canadian anthem is among my favorites =)

  • um dos mais belos hinos nacionais do mundo

  • Concordo totalmente, meu amigo. E o Canada e um dos paises mais belos do mundo tambem :-)

  • that was going to ridley9548

  • Who sings this song?

  • Probably the most beautiful national anthem there is, although the Soviet and PR China anthems are way up there too. They all make my eyes well up, and put a lump in my throat.

  • I agree with you on the Soviet anthem ... a beautiful anthem indeed, especially when performed by Sean Connery in "Hunt for Red October" :)

  • Its true I love that anthem Im ashamed I cant speak Russian My dads second language is Russian

  • hey chicagobearsfan, ya know what, shove your usa chant up your ass eh, ya fuckin tool

  • I had to listen to this version every morning in school. I got pretty sick of it. Why can't we just hear the symphony version?

  • I wish quebec would separate from canada that way it would take me 8 less hours to drive to newfoundland

  • Duh, only if you chopped it off and towed it out to see, and then joined newfie to the mainland. Hmmm, there's a thought.

  • It would be a dream come true if I would live in Canada or the USA. I'm living in Germany and it's terrible =( this is not fair. But the anthem is very beautiful and I know it inside out =D

  • Well, you can check how many ppoints you have. Check the skilled worker immigration. If you get 67 points, you are qualified for Permanent Residency!

Basically, you need good knowledge of English (kniwing French will also help), have good education and work experience.

If you are a costruction worker, you can come here in ALberta as a temporary worker (will later give you more points) we have a SEVERE shortage of construction workers here. Salaries are good (30 $/hour).

  • NOT USA! PLS GO TO CANADA:p

  • Grace au Canada,ma vie est heureuse ici.

  • Any way in Quebec we only heard about Canadian history and the seperatist movement is almost finish now only 32% wants qc to separate (good news) And the only separatists are the ones that don't speak english and only speak 'french' with 'tabarnaks, calis...'

  • Vive le Canada! God bless Canada! We are the best country in the world!! Merci pour le francais! Thanks for the english! the Quebec separatists!

  • the Quebec separatists!

  • I've always felt that one of the coolest things about the Canadian anthem is that it is mostly celebratory, unlike mine (USA), which is essentially a song about war. (And of course, it's a whole lot easier for people to sing!)

  • Your welcome and after being in Victoria for a couple of ours durning an Alaska cruise I plan to make Canada my next vacation spot.

  • The Canadian anthem is often sung in both English and French as they are both the offical languages of Canada. Sometimes at an event, the anthem will be in English, followed by the French version. Or, it could be 50/50. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Come back and see us again soon.

  • One time when I went to church, they sang a version that was in English, French, and Cree. There was probably another First Nation language in there, but I don't remember. It was very interesting to hear!

  • it's french

  • What language is the second half in? Truly it is a beautiful song and nation, and this is coming from an american.

  • its french, and thank you very much.

  • what do u expect hes american lol

  • Yes, he's our neighbour, show some respect, your comment was uncalled for.

  • Your the nicer american i ever meet! In us generally when i say that i'm canadian, they said thing like Do you live in an igloo or...

  • Thank you. there is some good americans and you are one of them.

  • As a Canadian, I cannot stand this politically correct hollow, terrible anthem .The Maple Leaf Forever is our true anthem. It has everything a great anthem needs: mention of God, militaristic undertones and written by an influential war veteran and overall great person: Alexander Muir.

  • First check out the French words, which are better, then realize that Calixa Lavalee based it on the March of the Priests from Mozart's Magic Flute.

  • Well it was written by a frenchman which, if the french canadians are allowed to hate Anglo-Canadians, then we certainly have the duty to return the favour.

  • Hey come on! I am Canadian too, and have lived in both English and French Canada, as well as the US. Good people in all places. We should not be manipulated against each other! Calixa Lavallee was an accomplished musician, born in Quebec, but who joined the Union army during the Civil War. If you ignore the English words of O Canada, which you dislike so much, the music, as I said, modelled on Mozart, is pretty good.

  • P.S. The original English language version not only mentioned God, it kept repeating "Lord of the Lands", instead of "O Canada!"

  • True, but I just like to have an anthem that speaks volumes about the majority of our population. One province should not have sway over the rest of Canada, which happens to speak Englsih and most have British descent.

  • I question that statement

  • hey, this is good, but I'm looking for the version of O Canada played by Jimi Hendrix-has anybody heard it or know where to find it, that would be great.

  • Vive le Canada! God bless Canada!

  • Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did making it. Great country.

  • Where did you took the anthem?

  • This version of O'Canada was publish in the 80's. it features Tommy Hunter,Ann Murray, Gordon Lightfoot, Brian Adams, Sylomi Beye (spellong wrong) and other Canadian Artists. I believe it was produced/directed by Quincy Jones and Steven Foster. It was produced for school children. Unfortunatly, I have lost the origional copy.

  • Bryan Adams? I don't know. Didn't he get in trouble once for singing the older version of O Canada at a NHL Hockey game once.

I looking for that older real version of O Canada...

  • Also one of Canada's greatest rappers in his day: Maestro Fresh Wes.

  • Every time you post it in a video, God kills a kitten.

    Back to topic: Great video!

  • I love the land i was born in, Canada Rocks!

  • I'd never live in another country. This is home and our anthem rocks lol. Go Canada!

  • the video is good, i like the selection of photos from southern Ontario, and who sings this song? its an intresting version of O Canada, and its not the version i heard in school, but its still good

  • About 2 mins of uneeded video. Plus it sounds rubbish compaired to the ones played in Canadian schools and even known to us brits. All in all its ruined.

  • We share the same queen. All is ruined? Nah...We are proud of our country..we are vast...

  • Fantastic - proud to be canadian!

  • Who, or should I say what group did the soundtrack?

    Nice Video

  • Who did this song?

  • Wow, That's a great clip you got there! I've never heard that version of O'Canada, nice!

  • Good job, nice selection of Southern Ontario highlights. Would have been nice to see Niagara Falls. Maybe next time. Thanks!

  • Good clip
