Well, obviously, Afghanistan wasn't my only deployment.I'm the guy the video is about.
I also was in Iraq for a year, and I'll soon be returning to Iraq.
I'm not complaining or bragging.Thank your dad for what he does. But to believe that this "short"deployment was easy is foolish. As the medic for my infantry platoon,I lost one soldier to an ambush. If that's easy, then I'm sorry. I took his loss very personally and live everyday thinking about the moment he died.Thanks for commenting.
the 82nd is a very crazy bunch! But if you are interested in finding out more me know. My husband isnt in the 82nd any more but we were there for three years, now instead of jumping out of planes he is flying helicopters. The Army has been great too us.
Great video obviously, any video that shows soldiers returning home is great to see. Hopefully all Americans and Canadians make it home from Afghanistan safely. For the families that have lost loved ones in Afghanistan and Iraq, I send my sympathies to you. My brother used to be in the Canadian army for a few years and was in Kosovo, was always worried bout him but he made it back safely.
i don't even know where my hubby is. He is a soldier just deployed two weeks ago and who knows when he will be home again. He just got home in october for being gone for four months. But i am proud of the U.s.
