  • I LOVES MESSIAH OF EVIL HE ROCKED IN THAT MOVIE

  • I cackled at this for at least 10 mins.

  • I knew Michael Greer before he made the movie. He had a comedy routine and performed often at The Redwood Room in North Hollywood CA. His most memorable character was "The Mona Lisa" where he portrayed the painting having "come to life". She (Mona Lisa) makes comments about the other items in the museum where she is hanging. He reprised this act on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I only wish there were a clip available. Rest in Peace, Michael.

  • Effectively murdered by the tobacco pushers and their illegal (yes, illegal to poison people, no matter how slowly you do it) weapon of mass destruction.

    BAN TOBACCO NOW!

  • I absolutely LOVED this movie, as wells as Greer's performance.

  • Oh my! Michael Greer took me on a date in the early 70's. To the movies. He took me to see HIMSELF in Fortune In Men's Eyes.

  • Sad news,I never saw anything in the newspapers about him dying. He was one of a kind.I saw his act in a bar in Las Vegas! in 1981.He was also in a horror film made in 1973 called 'Messiah Of Evil' one of those living dead type films.RIP.

  • Michael Greer had a very rare talent, he played in Dallas at a club called John L's. He had a Mona Lisa skit that was very, very funny and also a skit called Billie Holiday comes back from the dead to sing the Beatles and it was HILLARIOUS! Michael, RIP

  • You can find bits from Michael's one comedy album onlline but they'll cost you.

I remember a rumour about him that when Bette Davis refused to loop dialogue for a TV presentaion of one of her films they called Michael Greer to do it instead. I don't know how true that is, but it's a great anecdote, regardless.

  • I saw him doing his club act years ago, very funny guy..what ever happened to him?.

  • Michael Greer passed away in late 2002 from lung cancer.

  • When I think of the magic insanity that could have been had John Waters met up with Michael Greer wow! If only!

  • I hear you. I also wish that Divine and Pat Ast could have worked together as quarreling sisters! Can you imagine them in a Baby-Jane-type production?

  • Yes my dear! "But ya are Blanche ya are!" or "You mean we could have been friends this whole time?" I love it that would have been fantastique.

  • Love it love it love it! Michael Greer was amazing!
