  • wow that E5 at 11:41 was really good!

  • i love her C5 at 5:36 :)

  • You should add t this compilation the HQ version of the E5 from TLYM at the Junos:

    /watch?v=wp4BcTR_uQI

  • I love son My heart will go on ! :D ..<3

  • Celine's best vocals were the "Falling into you" ERA, hands down...she lost her voice during that albums world tour and had to have training to get it back..."Lets talk about love" showed the dramatic difference in her voice. That album showed it to never be the same. She also changed from chest power and using her diaphragm to now singing with her head and throat! "Falling in you" was the last album that Celine sung with her best vocals! All albums after that have never been the same vocally.

  • @Support4MySingers I disagree. The Falling into you era is overrated. Nothing tops the 1991-1995 era. Celine never faced a vocal decline in the 90s so I don't get AT ALL the ''lost her voice'' argument. There was NO change in Celine's voice and nothing is evident in her LTAL album. In facts, S'il suffisait d'aimer (1998) and These are special times (1998) are more consistent than her 1996 and 1997 releases. A true change in her voice only applies to the 2004-2008 era. Oh and TAST album >>> FIY.

  • @Luxiusta07 I'm no hater I'm one of her biggest fans and I personally hear a massive difference in her technique and vocals after "Falling into you"...she's never used her voice the same way since and the industry have pointed that out many times but that doesn't mean her voice failed. It's still been amazing and losing her voice duing her "FIY" tour was in her first autobiography and she's talked about it on Oprah many times. That's when she stopped talking for 2 hours after every performance!

  • @Support4MySingers In saying all of that, I don't care if we agree because I don't know you. I know Celine, I know her voice and by going by her own words, she herself has mentioned after losing her voice she learnt to take better care of it and that's why her voice is different from LTAL. Since LTAL she sings in different registers with different technique. THAT'S what my first comment was about, MY feelings on what I think is different about her voice but I still love it!

  • @Support4MySingers

I am a huge fan as well. Have you heard the studio version of O Holy Night, Ave Maria, Je Crois Toi, Papillon ? In all these her voice is so warm and pure. There were points on her Falling Into You album were she sounded raspy.

What differences do you notice in the technique ?

Which people in the industry pointed the change in her voice ?

  • 11:41...her best live E5 belt!

  • the voice of celine dion, is the same throught the years, she studies her voice and use her voice like an instrument. She is perfect and i think she is one of the bestest female singer in the world

  • the voice of celine dion, is the same trhought the years, she studies her voice and use it like an instrument. She is perfect and i think she is one of best female singer in the world

  • GOLDEN VOICE <3

BTW, the only thing that I didn't like was that throaty and raspy Eb5 that she was doing in the studio, lol ... then she ran for water! :P

Love her voice though, she's amazing.

  • Also, the thing that is so amazing about this vid is that it all flows together perfectley! It's like everything is connected. The timing of the vid is marvelous. FANTASTC JOB! <3333

  • @CelineArchive @Luxiusta07 her voice got deeper AND nasal lol.

  • i love her resonance, better than XTINA.

  • @chesleycareystar Lol I agree, but if you don't mind, I'd like to keep this an "Xtina Free Zone" so that her stans don't get all worked up lol.

  • @CelineArchive What you define ''deeper'' is what I call ''nasal'' , lol

  • @CelineArchive Check Seduces me live in 1996 and then the Vegas version. I insist the second one is too nasal. The new Vegas show has only 70 perfomances per year, not 200. So chances are she stays in good shape.

  • Love her Eb5's in this era :D

  • @CelineArchive ''I don't think her voice sounded different'' Everything she said or sang coming out of her nose. I could put my hand in my nose just to imitate her. #LOL I mean e v e r y t h i n g was too nasal ! Even her speaking voice had changed. Her nasality was more obvious to soft verses. I've seen Tyler's video and some hard songs were live. LCMM ,RDMH have some F5s (I think), which are a challenge for Celine, lol. One thing is for sure : the hardest songs on TCWT were live.

  • @CelineArchive Lmao, you can totally hear her voice was really different after Vegas. I think the songs with the upper beltings were live. Not sure.

  • @CelineArchive Nothing is confirmed yet.

  • @CelineArchive Lmao ! well...I am sure we get chest notes !

  • Great vid! Love the intro! 19:05 LOVE IT!

  • @WhitneyElizabethH

There is no 19:05 mark on here...

  • @elrynx2

Haha i corrected myself the same minute u wrote that xD

  • @CelineArchive I don't give a shit about the few pressed bitches that hate on Celine's singing. :) She is in a good vocal condition - after 31 years in the business - and this is all that matters to me. The majority of people still think Celine can sing to save her life (Fact) and still buy her records and tickets (Fact). Therefore, what haters think is totally irrelevant.

  • @Luxiusta07 YAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!!!

    <333333

  • What's the 1:23 song?!?!?!?!?

  • @papposwing14 The first time ever i saw your face :p

  • very good video..you have such a collection of her decent notes during that era... and just a quick question: why did you put her falsetto/ head voice notes as 'G5-C6' at 14:43 when her head register started here from E5

  • @kelvinpyaeko Oops! I thought I fixed that lol. Sorry :P

  • my heart will go on always makes me think of the titanic :(

  • @DreamloverLambi1 It should lol :P

  • @CelineArchive lol Nope, I used TCWT note. The only live one.

  • @CelineArchive LOL! 9:02 and /watch?v=-GAT7czTCsk blow F-I-WHY? out of the water!

  • @CelineArchive I believe the whole point of her ''1 Fille & 4 Types'' album was to distance herself from the screaming diva image. So there was a limit to her vocal perfomances. The album is easy listening and quite mature in terms of lyrics. We finally got the chance to listen to Celine doing some country, folk and soft rock and not filling her album with power ballads or popish dance tracks. It is one of her most balanced albums, both musically and lyrically.

  • @CelineArchive D5s for Celine is everything. #LOL Thanx to her DCP album, we have some amazing live perfomances from Celine. (Le blues du businessman 1995, Le fils de superman 1994 and the awesome Starmania medley.) Do you really want to listen to vocal acrobatics from Celine ? I think it's ''old school''. All I want to listen to is soft, pure singing. Can she sing 2 octaves ? I am fine with it. I don't hope for crazy vocals from Celine anymore.

  • @stardusth2o @CelineArchive So, I am the only one who thinks her ABM note was better here. Hmm... :/

  • @Luxiusta07 No, I think it was better here too. MUCH better than FIY era. More full and powerful.

  • @stardusth2o You said the exact opposite to CelineArchive before. Check your comment. xD

  • @Luxiusta07 OHHHH! I thought she said "ABM was much worse during FIY"

lol I misread her comment :P I think ABM is much better here. Especially 9:02 :D

  • @stardusth2o Probably her best sustained Eb5 of this song ever.

  • @Luxiusta07 2nd best IMO. This is #1 :)

    /watch?v=-GAT7czTCsk

  • @stardusth2o Good once !

  • @Luxiusta07 Right? I really think it's her best note of that song ever. It wasn't scratchy. It was more powerful than her other attempts. It wasn't all wobbly and unsure like the others. Too bad that was the only time she sang it live on the tour :(

  • I just noticed she had many good E5s here and her F5 in LCMM are nice. But none of her G#5s are good. Her head voice/falsetto is pretty.

  • @Luxiusta07 I LOVE her, IHYTILY E5!!!

  • Nice vid :)

  • @Chimier Thank you! ;)

  • Overall it's nice, but the ABM notes are incredibly strained.

  • @Stefano94x They are better than the ones she did in the Falling Into You era. Lmao xD

  • @Stefano94x The only one I thought really sounded strained was the second one, and the beginning of the first one :P

  • Your video is very nice. :) That woman is a beast ! Her live singing through the 90s equals to almost 400 concerts + she recorded 9 studio albums. Restful or not, she tried for the best.

  • @Luxiusta07 Yay Lukey!!! :)

    Thank you I agree!

  • @CelineArchive 1 Fille & 4 Types had some great D5s in it. You shouldn't worry at all about her new french album. She works again with Luc Plamondon so expect some deep, profound lyrics and strong vocals. (Le Blues Du Businessman, Le Fils De Superman, Oxygene, Des Mots Qui Sonnent etc)

  • @CDionLive dahhling lol ive seen some footage of celine in 1997 singing as you put it rough mariahs nodules started to really take over after 1996 but shes always had them so yes her voice became husky/ airy or breathy whatever u want to call it but mariah showed 4 octaves live 1997 - 1998 out of her 5 that we know of so far lol so hardly a decline for mariah and for the record i was just asking why alot of people said that about celine clearly this video shows great vocals

  • I love the video I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. Celine is amazing, I would love to see ANDHC vocal era video

  • I ABSOLUTELY love those ad libs! Her F#5s and G5s are stunning (and sort of hilarious) lol

  • @kellyclarksonismygod Lol I agree XD

  • LOVED her upper chest belts & head voice. Nice low notes as well.

  • XTINASDISCIPLE and her other 12 accounts are swarming in. Get ready for the invasion...

  • WHY do people say 1997 was her vocal decline ?

  • @DreamloverLambi1 because that is when the lipsynching began.

  • @DreamloverLambi1 This was not a decline. She was just way more restful in early-mid 90s. Her real vocal decline must be around 2004/2005 because of the Vegas Show. Even her speaking voice became too nasal.

  • @Luxiusta07 It wasn't really a decline. Just a rough patch. Vegas stole her voice away lol. But now she sounds IMO the best she's ever sounded. Along with Unison era.

  • @stardusth2o She is restful now and less nasal than she used to be. You can hear that on her speaking voice as well.

  • Great video Cade! :) she did some really nice vocals in this era, 13:38 i love that G5!! And this was definitely her commercial peak as wellll! 'Let's Talk About Love' is my fave Celine album :)

  • @MimiDahhling30 Same :)

  • @MimiDahhling30 This was not Celine's vocal peak. Just commercial peak. The albums she released from 1997-1999 have sold over 72m copies as of 2011. xD How come ''Let's Talk About Love'' is your fave album dear flop fan ? Ever listened to it ? :P

  • @Luxiusta07 Yes i HAVE actually Luke, Tom showed me, so you can take a seat :P

  • @MimiDahhling30 Lmao. Take another listen cause I need your review !

  • @Vampirictattoo No one cares about your opinion, get a life and get off peoples videos.

  • @MimiDahhling30 there is no need to behave in this way, I see offensive comments on your videos all the time, why does mine bother you and not theres ?

  • @Vampirictattoo You're the one that leaves all the dislikes and offensive comments hun, on your multiple accounts, dont act the fool <3

  • @MimiDahhling30 I am just being honest as are all the people on your videos who bash everyone, I don't see why you're taking my comments to heart.

  • nice job! Her D5's and Divas natural woman F5 was really good! Probably her prime succes wise :)

  • @musicguy713 Lmao. I told you many times this was not her vocal prime. xD She was sounding good in general, but nowhere close to her D'eux era ! (for instance) :)

  • @Luxiusta07 LOL LUKE! I said prime wise for her sucess commercially lol not vocally :P

  • @musicguy713 Ok. Jenaya forgives you.

  • @Luxiusta07 LMAO!!

  • @CelineArchive Yes! I'm soo excited for the album though :)

  • @CelineArchive Yes. She really only sings live during promo in US. :(

  • @CelineArchive OH! LOL! Sorry XD

Me too. But, she always does best when she sings french songs. So I know it's alteast gonna be good.

  • @CelineArchive ...What do you mean? LOL!

  • @CelineArchive I just got confused at "My big worry is that we're going to get another 1 fille & 4 types like album :/"

    lol

  • @CelineArchive Huh? lol

  • Love it, very nice job @stardusth20 I understand you had some problems uploading and stuff, so thanks for persevering and delivering a great 16 minutes of Celine.

  • @elrynx2 LOL! Yes. But it was worth it. Very happy you like it :)

  • @CelineArchive Well, CDionLive is gonna do a VR for her new vegas show. But I'm planning on doing a studio VR for her new french album hehe...

  • I hate the Millennium Concert with a passion.

However, I think this was Celine's best era...1999 not really included. It's definitely one of two possible best eras. I wish we had more low notes, surprised she didn't go lower.

  • @elrynx2 I agree. She didn't sound very good on the Millennium concert. I think she was sick right? But she had some good notes in there.

I agree, this is one of her best eras. I love her voice in the LTAL tour bootlegs. She sounds SO powerful!

  • @stardusth2o I'm not sure if she was sick for it, but the entire year of 1999 was very nasal...people always fault her for that, but I would only join that ridicule for her performances of that year mainly. She sounds insufferable at times. However, yes....of the bootlegs we have, she is powerhouse on all of her vocals! The greatest tragedy of her career is not releasing a DVD 1997-1998...

  • @elrynx2 Yeap. You are right. Her Au Coeur Du Stade Dvd is quite limited. I'd like to have full HQ live perfomances of Immortality, Tears in heaven, The first time ever I saw your face.

  • @CelineArchive I'm not sure, but I liked that era as well :D I love this era the 3rd most lol. My first fave is right now :D my second fav is TCOML, this is really a tie with TC era. I loved that era sooo much.

  • Yay :D

  • @elrynx2 Haha yes, yay! :)

  • @Aontiverozol I agree ;)

  • @CelineArchive Think Twice Live In Munich 1999

:) I love that C#5. It sounds very powerful!

  • @CDionLive I don't know. I used this video though. It's HD :D

    /watch?v=EAVCvCr0JQ0

  • OMG! My fav era as well!

I can't believe hw god sum of thes notes r! It's crazy! she sunds the best here. really strong. especially in the tour bootleg clips. and the recording sessions ofcoures.
