Ethiopia Addis Ababa 2009

Enough with the Addis Ababa as the world stage for Ethopia. Outside of Addis should be developed in the same manner and consideration as those structures in Addis were built. Addis is the only view most people see of Ethiopia, & is meant to be that way, while the real Ethopia lives as though it's 1000 years ago, & have become beggers of Addis for basic needs. Stop Addis from continuing to be that testiment of that while the real Ethiopia dies, along with it's greater built testiments.

Yeah, that's what's up! I'm American, too, but anyway, I was there July/August, and I plan to go back in April. My husband is there, so I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to going back! You should try the cake at Raizel's in Piazza--delish! And there's an American restaurant I think in Dembel or Bole(?) called New York, NY. lol They're pizza was good, and the fish restaurant in Mercato is good, too(excuse all the food talk, etc.) I went in the rainy season, so I didn't go far:( Happy travelling!:)

seidinqatar, this is an excellent video I've just come back from Addis Ababa Ethiopia its a beautiful city, with much development.

Ethiopia is massive at least three times the size of France I didn't have enough time to see even 1/3 of the country. I plan to go back next year and every year.
