Man, I really miss the wiggles. Even though im 15, i still enjoy some of their songs. Their a classic. Theres no "Im to old!!" Or "Their gay!" No matter what they will still stay in a very special place within my life. :)
@01denday Great news! As of Jan. 18th, Greg has returned to the Wiggles and has reclaimed his yellow skivvy. They will be going into the studio soon to write songs, and plans are in place for new CDS and DVDS. They will tour Australia mid March, with tours in England and the U.S. later this year. sam is no longer with the Wiggles organization.
I wish there was a karaoke version of this song because it deserves a karaoke version and i mean more than just the wiggles singstar on ps2 which is alot of fun! :D
I'm 16, I grew up with Greg yet I love Sam! I was ignorant at first but once you see him perform he is really good. I watch the Wiggles all the time now, it's quite embarrassing :D

Greg has stated many times that O.I. IS NOT life threatening. It can be treated and since Sept 09 Greg's health has been great. Hey lets face it...no one can replace Greg but you couldn't let the band fold. Sure Sam is not as good as Greg but he's a good singer and an OK replacement and to tell you the the truth I think that the Shimmy Shake is there best song. I love the Wiggles and took my Daughter to see them twice. (Actually I wanted to see them too).

All the people that post terrible things about Sam obviously don't realize that this is about the children and what they like. Kids like Sam as much as Greg. The adults need to get over it.

@NateAngel1 Well Greg is sick and resigned as the yellow wiggle and according to the video interview with Greg Page Sam had stepped in for him during several of the concerts live performances because he wasn't able to go on. Sam was given the position of the yellow wiggle because he was playing the yellow wiggle in Greg's stead. I think he's just fine as the yellow Wiggle. He's a great singer and entertaining. People need to get off his case.

Basically it means his blood is not properly circulated around his body. It's not life threatening, but is chronic. It can be controlled with management & medication. i think sam is 10 times better than greg. my 2 year old knows the diff between the 2 yellow wiggles and she likes sam better too. great voice sam and u were good in the concert too!!!
My 3 year old sister also seems to prefer sam, probably because she watched the newer episodes first and you know what kids are like about change. but even so, she can tell the difference, and has her own opinion about the show, and since she is in their target age group, i think that counts for more than youtubers in their twenties who still cling to the greg era.

No one did. Greg, the Yellow Wiggle, stepped back from the group when diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance. After 3 years, he is doing very well, and planning a return to the stage. darkhorsegeorge knows full well that Greg is alive and well, but has posted the same comment on several videos. I think it is a deliberate attempt to bait people, and provoke them into responding.
He's not dead. He just has an illness called "Orthastatic Intolerance." It's where you're blood doesn't pump well enough. It's been 3 years (almost) now and he's on tour for his solo singing. I'm hoping to see him back on the Wiggles DVD next year (Fall 2010).

I couldn't agree more no1dagboy! Most people associate Sam with the classical turn of the show, and think of him as nothing more than an opera singer trying to be a Wiggle. But, his voice has such a wide range. He sounds so overpowering on a song like "Olive Oil," or my own namesake. Or, he can sound fun in a song like this one, or "The Chicken Walk." And then so calming and soft on "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." You're so right! His voice is sensational!
Improvement?? You can't improve perfection & The Wiggles were perfect with Greg. Can we just live and let live please? Some people have a preference for Sam while others prefer Greg - allow people to have their opinions and stop bitching about the wiggles.

I prefer Sam hands down. I have watched Greg in action and in no way can Greg sing as well as Sam. The group is much more interesting and
upbeat these last 2 yrs.

i think sam is 10 times better than greg. my 2 year old knows the diff between the 2 yellow wiggles and she likes sam better too. great voice sam and u were good in the concert too!!!

My 3 year old sister also seems to prefer sam, probably because she watched the newer episodes first and you know what kids are like about change. but even so, she can tell the difference, and has her own opinion about the show, and since she is in their target age group, i think that counts for more than youtubers in their twenties who still cling to the greg era.

ffs people it's a kids program. I hardly doubt that kids are going to care whether it's sam or greg, especially if they weren't alive when greg was touring with them :P

@QuietCommentator No, "we" don't like Greg better. Some of us prefer Sam, so don't speak for everyone. Also, kids DO watch the videos on youtube, my toddler does all the time. So grow up and move on. Greg picked Sam to take his place, if you love him so much give it a rest and accept his choice.

I can imagine Greg singing it, and he would rock it - just like he did The Wiggles. Seeing Greg perform live with The Wiggles was mesmerizing, but anyone watching him perform solo in OZ or in Las Vegas or Nashville would see that Greg owns that stage when he is up there. He does Burning Love, Honky Tonk Women, and you should hear him tear thru Johnny B. Good. Anthony recently said that "Greg has a rock voice, if you know what I mean." Greg is doing very well now & plans a return to performing.

You do realise that this is for kids right?I bet you are the same sad loser with three accounts doing this, get a life grow up.This band is for under 10's.The whole point of them dressing like the Beatles is so you can tell your children that they are dressed up as a band called the Beatles.Its not like their entire act is a Beatles cover band.This is the only song.AGAIN FOR KIDS.

No one did. Greg, the Yellow Wiggle, stepped back from the group when diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance. After 3 years, he is doing very well, and planning a return to the stage. darkhorsegeorge knows full well that Greg is alive and well, but has posted the same comment on several videos. I think it is a deliberate attempt to bait people, and provoke them into responding.

He's not dead. He just has an illness called "Orthastatic Intolerance." It's where you're blood doesn't pump well enough. It's been 3 years (almost) now and he's on tour for his solo singing. I'm hoping to see him back on the Wiggles DVD next year (Fall 2010).

I couldn't agree more no1dagboy! Most people associate Sam with the classical turn of the show, and think of him as nothing more than an opera singer trying to be a Wiggle. But, his voice has such a wide range. He sounds so overpowering on a song like "Olive Oil," or my own namesake. Or, he can sound fun in a song like this one, or "The Chicken Walk." And then so calming and soft on "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." You're so right! His voice is sensational!
