  • I take my crystals and bathe them during the waxing moon outside. I'm careful not to use too much sea salt, but I do run them under water and imagine all negativity leaving them. Then they are placed in a crystal or clear glass dish submerged in water and they are left outside to absorb the beautiful Goddess moon energy. I have left them outside for a few days at a time. These are only done to crystals that will not be damaged by water. Blessings! <3

  • @SpiritsEnchantments That sounds like a lovely ritual. ♥

  • Every time I buy carnelian I end up loosing or misplacing it. It's like only this particular stone wants to get away from me. I know it may sound strange but do you have any clue as to why this is?

  • @ensoliel you're not meant to work with it right now. Take the hint and use something else, perhaps its too energizing for you at the moment.

  • I've read, however, that once charged, stones should be put in a black bag (or cloth) to repel negativity & maintain charge..... is that B.S. or are you showing a 2nd way of doing that by using a red cloth?

  • @ibkristykat I really only use this method now for programmed cyrstals. Black absorbs so I don't see the point in that but if that what works for keep on doing it. Red has the slowest rate of absorption and that's the theory behind this method.

  • should they have individual bags before placed in the case? will they give off their force to each other if stored together without being individually wrapped?

  • @wickedwotw After several native american teachings on this, this is all that's required, but I truly only feel its required for a programmed crystal now. I leave my other crystal out to absorb the photons.

  • We love the idea of the red cloth!! I am going to the fabric store today! Thanks:)

    Love and light to you,

    Jacque and April

  • Gosh, you know what you're right. about people grabbing crystals. I have done that for the past three yrs. during my 'spiritual awakening' when I didn't even know I was going thru one. Even when people are just using them in say Feng shui Gardens in their homes!!!!! I had no ideal that's why I did that!!!! Wow!!!! Much luv to you!!!

  • @URABombShell I fell a bit differently about it now. I only worry about my programmed crystals now. :)

  • @URABombShell oh...okay. well, good to know. with my ocd I'd go crazy. so glad you commented back! I just bought some today and I cleared them-cleaned them and now there in the moon light-FULL MOON-so awesome what luck, I didn't even know it was a full moon. :)

  • @URABombShell Full Moon was great last night. I put all my huge pieces out. :)

  • I currently am more into collecting tumbled crystals b/c I'm wild for the beautiful colors and patterns. Some of my collection is stored in a small box in my room(safe from cats) and the rest are in a cloth bag up front in a shoebox for now(safe from dogs). I will have to look into transferring them to a better container since the box is a little flimsy. That'll have to wait since i'm tracking blue goldstone and blue tiger eye on ebay now.

  • @Legofan4ever88 hawks eye very nice, are you aware blue goldstone is manmade?

  • @phanie12 I discovered that about a couple months back. Pretty shocking to me b/c I thought it was a natural gemstone.

  • I'm starting to study different healing stones and crystals I'm not sure of what to begin to study should I join metaphysic together in my study of the stones?

  • @shunae0212 Absolutely. You can also look into the classes that I teach. See the link in the info above. :)

  • isn't sea salt and even water dangerous or damaging to some stones?

  • @Bhav341 yes indeed. you have to do your research with that.

  • @makeupmoron certainly. :)

  • @makeupmoron can you go to a craft store and get a simple cotton scrap or a red bandana? Cotton, wool, natural fibers only though.

  • also where do you get your stones and where do you get sea salt

  • @MrWebkinz17 I sell stones and crystals in my shop...link is in the notes above. I get the sea salt at Whole Foods.

  • thank you so much for making this vid the only thing is how do you cleanse a crystal rock or stone

  • @MrWebkinz17 Please check out my videos on how to do that.

  • My earlier post was too long. The amethyst double point six sided stone is about an inch long. I have only seen stones set with silver--never a golden brass hinged setting such as this one is. I put it on a golden chain--but I wonder if it is meant to be a pendulum? Thanks for anything you may be able to tell me about this thrift store find. Hugs,~Moonchime

  • Thank you so much for doing this video. I am learning a lot today by watching your vids. I'm also very happy to see that you have an Etsy store. i will definitely purchase some crystals from you soon.

Maybe you could answer a question for me? I bought an amethyst double terminated stone. I found it at a thrift store. The stone is set in a brass(?) setting. The setting has hinges so that the amethyst can swing and move. Is this a pendulum? Is there significance to the setting being not silver?

  • @Moonchimes Hi Moonchimes. That's called a Swingle setting, but its not a pendulum. As far as metals go, brass is not as high vibration as silver would be, but it doesn't hinder the amethyst at all. Silver, however would impart lunar & feminine energy while amplifying the calming energy of the amethyst. :)

  • This was very helpful! :-) Thank you! Now I just need to look for a chest of some sort.

  • Could i put stones under a glass dome (like a plant) to keep people from touching them when they come over?

  • @bluemoonowl Sure, that's actually a good idea.

  • What a great video!!! I love your stone collection! I need to go to your shop and see if you have any Carnlinean...I need a few pieces for my kit...I made mine, but my Carnliean is a pendant (necklace) and I really need to get a stone. Am going now to look. Hugs to you!!!

  • Thanks Flora! I don't think I have the carnelian stones posted to my shop but I do have some nice ones in stock. PM me. :)

  • Phanie12.

Thanks for the great video. I suffer from Social Anxiety and depression. My question is, can Black tourmaline and or adventurine be worn around the neck on a pendant to help ground with my anxiety problems. ( i have a fear of talking with ppl) or should it be worn of kept somewhere else, like in a bag or a bracelet? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    thanks!

    Brandon

  • Either or both methods are fine. And the stones you mentioned are good ones. Labradorite is also a great stone for anxiety issues. I have some lab pendants in my shop if your interested. I alos have a lab shere perfect for meditating on your anxiety issues. I usually have an a Banish Anxiety Empowerment kit, but I am out of them now. You can check back soon when I get more aventurine in. :)

  • Hey everyone i heard these stones can help with anxiety i have it bad which stone or stones are best for that thank

  • Aventurine and Schorl are best for calming anxiety. Some others that are good are: aquamarine, malachite, blue quartz, calcite, chrysoprase, citrine and labradorite.

  • Thanks for the reply where can i buy them all togather i got 1 on ebay for $5

  • $5 for one stone? Whew, that's steep. I hope not. If you would like I can custom make an anxiety pouch for you with aventurine, calcite and citrine w/ a sprinkling of basil, all known for relieving anxiety. I also have a nice labradorite sphere you can use for meditating. If you're interested, send me a convo through my Esty shop. The link is in the sidebar next to this video. Or PM me here. :)

  • I love this video! I just started to get into crystals and am starting to do healing work with them. I started to see the effects of the power of crystals. This is a great idea to store them in a box with a red cloth.

  • Wow you've got a great collection !

  • Very wonderful idea and I love your stones!!!

  • Great video! I do keep some of my crystals out in the rest of the house, but my most sacred ones are on my altar in my locked bathroom where only my children and husband are allowed. The ones in the LR and foyer are up away from the reach of little hands and I've not really had problems with people touching them. (They still need cleansing because of the various energies that others emit, though.) I just love seeing them too much to keep them boxed up! Totally understand why you do though!

  • I know....it kills me to have them locked away. The larger pieces are out though.

  • Oooh I didn't know about keeping Amethyst and Citrine out of the sun... O_o I was wondering why my Amethyst looked duller...

  • One quick way to keep stones cleansed of the energies of others touching them, is to keep a small bed of citrine crystal. Lay the stones on the citrine for about a day. Citrines never need cleansing and cleanse all your other stones. Blessed Be )O(

  • Different sources say different things regarding this. IDK about citrine never needing cleansing. Its whatever works best for you, of course.

  • Yes, it's whatever feels right to the crystal user. I find for me that Citrine really does keep other stones cleansed in a pinch. I still prefer to cleanse them properly when I have the time.

  • Yeah, you're right. I would use like that too...in a pinch. :)

  • Actually this video was VERY helpful. I had no idea using red is more efficiant. I shop where you always shop at! So I know you're store is going to be awesome!

I have one question. Why is there fine purple like glitter powder substance occur when I place my stones together in one bag?

It's awesome effect but just too weird.

  • PM me~! I want to know where you shop. :) Compare notes, etc.

The fine dust you're describing is probably just some erosion of the stones rubbing against each other. I've done this with many of my stones and you'll notice they will start to lose their luster. I need to buy a rock tumbler to get their luster back. I like them to be smooth and shiny. :D

  • Thanks for sharing. I love the case! BB )O(

  • This is great, especially for people like me who live in an apt with no patio or other place to really put the stones/crystals out under sunlight or moonlight for fear they will disappear. Thanks!

  • Great chest....the box I mean j/k

The red cloth is a great idea. Thanks!

  • hahahaha!!!!

  • I really just couldn't help myself on that one :)

  • Great video! I dont keep my crystals out either. I have a black bag that I carry mine in. I will look into the red though. Thanks. BB

  • Very smart!
