"Tears for Haiti" was selected by the UN Public Information Officer, David Ohana, to accompany the video wall of images for the memorial that was held March 9, 2009 in New York at UN Headquarters. This memorial was for the 101 UN staff members who were killed in the earthquake.
WOW... this is just beautiful, soulful, full of sorrow, full of hope and so well done. You are wonderful and amazingly talented... Can't wait to hear more!!! -LN
Another amazing masterpiece from you. This song evokes such deep emotion -- feelings of melancholy and devastation that came out of this terrible earthquake. You have such a gift for capturing the raw emotions of the human condition. It makes me want to cry. God speed the Kingdom -- so we won't have to cry anymore.
Beautiful work Cynthia!

So well done - Your music brings out the emotion of devastation from such a tragedy, yet I can hear and feel a re-building in the aftermath.

Thank you for the beauty you created in honor of Haiti. Your music is glorious. And sad. And haunting. And very powerful.
Thank you for your partnership. You have bonded our art with your art and Haiti in a special way that will live forever.
