  • Dude. The images are the wrong way round...

  • no se ve vien eso

  • schlecht!

  • Aha ist wirklich geik.

  • the annimation was a bit short. if it were longer it would be better

  • you should get a 5MP webcam. shoots in 720p and captures at 5MP. I found one at a hastings near by me, and it was only $20. I think the brand was "Gearhead".

  • 3D COMMENT 3D COMMENT

  • @Dylan5222sMyGamertag i actully 3d'd ur comment!

  • Cool

  • 443 leute können nicht schielen

  • I got it but didn't like it.

  • nice! :D

  • Cool! :D

  • ouch my eyes hurt

  • @enriquelego thats fine.

  • it was made wrong.. crossing doesn't work.. you need to uncross.. as if you were looking through the monitor.. like the magic eye books..

  • @Polum824545201

if you look through the monitor THAT IS CALLED EYE-CROSSING OMG

  • CROSS YOUR EYES TO OVERLAP THE IMAGES!! thats all!!

  • tried cross eyed ! this is not a good 3d, something is wrong, there are better cross eyed 3d

  • Doesnt work, needs to have 3 screens not two.

  • cross your eyes

  • that doesnt work...

  • Wtf?????

  • this IS 3d, but you swapped the pictures^^

the right one is supposed to be on the left and the other way round

then it will be real 3d

  • it IS 3d, but it´s NOT crossed eyed.. it´s pararel

  • People who voted this down, watch some more cross-eye videos before you say:

    "This is not 3D!"

  • woah sooo cool... u just hyave to cross ur eyes just a bit

  • you must change the screens to let us view it cross-eyed. or use the standard 3d-display method explained elsewhere in the videos. so one can choose the viewing-methods.

  • yup switch the screens -.-

  • Baad

  • Das ist doof, jetzt ist das Video-Fenster zu groß, sodass die beiden Bilder wohl mehr als der Augenabstand auseinander sind...Wenn mans nicht ändert. Deshalb klappts bei den meisten wohl nicht.

  • leem

  • Cool idea but there's s problem. Your eyes' lines of vision cross before they get to the screen so the right eyes image should be on the left and the left eyes, on the right. Hope this helps.

  • @fencepost13302 exactly

  • Hey could you try switching the two screens? it looks like that is the problem thanks!

  • I GET IT!

  • @tonosworld i dont get it wots the joke???

  • it took like 20 sek to set the visual right. so hard.

  • wow that was disappointing. 2 seconds?

  • It works for me.. Try to make 3 videos and watch the second one.. Good video

  • This is not crossview! It is parallel.

  • @DimOsBar but Parallel > Cross-eyed :P

  • aprende mejor.

  • not bad. longer and switch the left and right. got em backwards. alot was "sinking" in instead of popping out

  • How many frames is that stop motion video?

  • @puffnpluky76 like 5 maybe

  • wie funktioniert das ? bei mir sind nur 2 videos nebeneinander mit verschiedenen kamera positionen ????????????????

  • it's good but u should change the pictures (the one in the right in the left and the left one in the right)

  • @26portaventura why? it works well...

  • Its parallel eye

  • Parallel view with annoying flicker and barely any depth.

  • Very effective!

  • Check out my 'Rope Swing Crosseyed' vid

  • This is lame!!!

  • Do it better then.

  • Sehr gut ist das. Parallelblick, und ab gehts.

  • das is öde

  • can anyone tell me the difference between the cross eyes and the parallels? :S

  • @Syahin001

Cross eyed are two images side by side, but one is at a different angle.

Parrallel are two images side by side. Identical.

To get the "3D" effect you need to use cross eyed.

  • 1) The picture is not cross-eyed, it is parallel.

    2) The borders don't line up when viewed stereoscopically.

  • Are you sure? on ):48 if you look carefully the images are different.

  • they r cross eyed

  • @percivalburger

I got it just fine...You might need to try again...

  • Man, I hate long-ass intros. Just play the damn movie and put the credits at the end.

  • i got it!

  • you need to switch the pictures, what you have here is parallels

  • You just need to move the camera, not the set, and u will get a better efect if you use a rail to move the camera almost the same distance than your eyes are separated one from the other.

  • You put the cameras in too acute of an angle.

  • its the exact same picture

  • wrong

  • no right you just have to cross your eyes

  • lol, look at the orange bench on the left

on the right image you can see a part of the bench, on the left one you can see the whole thing

    look closely before u comment

  • Effect worked well, but the video should have more animation, less text. I appreciate that stop-motion takes time, but less text at least.

  • too much text, not enough video. But the three seconds or so of actual animation were cool!

  • RickTheStick's extreme, but he has a point.

Educate yourselves! If they seem switched to you, you're viewing it wrong. This is parallel style. Cross-eye is different and can cause eye strain. Look through the screen at far away objects, and your problem is solved.

Don't rate low just because you have no idea what stereograms are beyond a damn Magic Eye book!

  • Comment removed

  • These images are the wrong way round i.e. the left should be on the right and vice versa.

  • they're the same picture

  • No it's not the same picture. This is two movies of a scene one took at left and at right. This movie must be for a freeview cross-eyes method (don't need 3D glasses) but in fact it's parallel. Cross-eyes viewing method are visible in 3D if you cross your eyes. You should cross your eyes while you are looking at the picture until you see three pictures on the screen. The one in the middle is a mix of the left and right pictures and is 3D. Search on youtube for 3d cross-eyes pictures for samples.

  • You know why that low rating?

Fucking n00bz fuckheads shitholes that don't know how to cross-eye that play too much liebermode and is too dumb to use Google then just go bitchin about the video like "omg stupid" and rate 1/5 when there are normal people that can cross-eye and that are 1000x smarter than them

PS (To video uploader): Nice effect and video!

    PS (To n00bz): Fuck off

  • I know how to do it and it's actually pretty bad.

The images aren't clear, the animation only lasts 5 seconds, and there's almost a minute of useless text that I didn't want to read.

The cameras are also not placed at the right angle because the effect wasn't very good. That may be more about the unclarity of the images, however.

  • Wow I thought I was the only one going 3-D with Lego's LOL! Cool test footage! Check out "Day of the Atomic Beast 3-D" to see what I did.

  • nice job, but the video could be longer

  • This shouldn't be labeled cross-eyed because it confuses people who don't know what their doing. You don't cross your eyes to make the images overlap. You look far behind the screen, so your left eye sees the left image and right eye sees the right image. Works perfectly if done right.

  • you do cross your eyes, thats what effect looking behind the screen does, it forces your brain to lock the cross eyed image into 1. I dont need to look behind the screen, i move my left eye over to the right and my brain locks the images together when they overlap. I know, i have been doing it for years (i dont suggest you walk around in public trying it or you may look a little odd)

  • it depends on the way the images are oriented there isn't one "right" way. for this one i think you do have to look through the screen the video maker made an easy mistake to make.

  • I agree with JohnF30Music: easy to fix though :-) (after all: the hard work's been done)

  • Excellent! Few cross-eye videos work, this does quite well! :-)

  • indeed, this is not cross eyed, it's parallel.

The left image needs to be right

  • SOOOOO STUPID

i mean,i have cross-eye perfect,i can read the tinyest letters in it,but the vid is laaameeee...all u give me is a little car?

    laaaammmeeee

  • works for me

  • laaame

  • I can do the cross eye effect but this one is really hard to do.. Don't kow whats going on here but I just can't do this vidieo.

  • that dident work atall... -.-

  • dass ist mein liebest youtube video

    bad german

  • Oh, thats all I can say

  • This is not cross eye but parallel, maybe if you publish the same thing with the pictures swapped over, the cross eye thing will work :-)

  • wow worked for me

  • awsome... it is alot less strainfull on your eyes if you back away further

  • this shit is so corny

  • OMG THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!!

  • I see it :D it look good

  • Left and right is reversed so crossing your eyes won't see the image properly. You'll have to use a 3D viewer to see it correctly.

  • The buildings were coming forward...

  • All I am seeing is two pictures with the same thing happening in them

  • brilliant!!!

  • I'll never get it! I have an alternate squint.

  • thats pretty cool

  • I've tried doing it...

I can get my eyes to see in near parallel, but the 2 'middle' pictures one would get won't line up...

Do most people have the shot really close to their face to see the 3D?

  • this works well with ANY picture if you distort the other one (i.e. change the width/height a bit) and cross your eyes.

  • Looks nice enough, but is it inverse stereo? It looked like the street sign was further away than the buildings in the background...

  • Wrong.

  • What the hell is that???

  • watch?v=2APCmHlwNa8

  • let me know what you think of this, the idea it's the same:

    watch?v=2APCmHlwNa8

  • sweeeet!!!!!!!!!!

the angles of the shot are slightly different, so you can see it the way you do!

  • cool!

  • what????

  • i didn't get any of this

  • what am I supposed to see???

  • aw dang! It hurts the eyes man!!! But great job!!! FANTASTIC!! It was pretty cool!

  • that was pretty good. Not a very big 3D effect, but still pretty good.

I wish it was a bit longer too

  • y que es esta mierda

  • What am I suppose to be seeing?

  • got it on first try

  • CQQL

  • The images are the wrong way. I can see it perfectly with parallel view but when you try to view it cross-eyed you see the video inverted. How did you make a mistake like that?

  • I know than you may make something better.

    KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

  • its too big for cross eyeing

  • Yeah that was cool! Pictures are a little far though, I had to force my little eyes to make it happen.. @_@ Good job btw! 5/5

  • my problem is, ive got just one eye... how can i do this with one eye??' :(

  • when you look at any object in real life you do it with your eyes from 2 different angles, 2 different images which are merged into one in your brain which is 3D, because the background is blurred (defocused) you can choose where to focus... u need time to find the focus. the brain needs to lock the image... so u trick the brain into believe that it is in fact a normal 3d live image.

  • Is it just me or is there incredibly little content in this video?

  • omfg..i got it. when you use both eyes the pictures appear different but when you use one eye then both pictures are the same.

  • i dont get it

  • its kinda 3d, just bad video quality so it can't be justified too well

  • i get it :)

  • so what do i have to do?

  • Not wow at all...

  • X your eyes so it looks like 3 panels..

I got it to work but it's hard on the eyes..

    good try.

  • I see 3 pictures but the center one isn't 3D it's just as blurry as the other 2

  • good job! if your a practiced magic eye viewer this is easy, i'll be on the look out for more like this. although i wish it were a bit longer. is it possible to do a short film like that? some people may have a problem with it but i'd really enjoy it.

  • It's very easy once you figure out how to view it.

  • It's a good video, but you have to know how to cross your eyes for the effect.

Also, why a 1 minute video for 3 seconds of proper stereo effect?

  • Wow, I like that one. xD If you've got a big moniter, just move back a little.

  • As someone who knows one or two things about stereo photography: The images are too big to merge them together, at least with my eyes. Make your frames narrower or smaller.

  • A lot of people say the same thing as MeatPoPsiclez, that they can't see 3-D images, or it's subtle.

As anyone who can see the effect will tell you, 3-D isn't subtle at all. In fact, it scares the hell out of some people.

It must be the way some brains are different, and the way they process information.

    Weird.

  • pekná pičovina!

  • lol

  • Samo jsi p...a, tohle je náhodou super. Problém je v tom že nemáš potřebný vybavení, nebo si neumíš poradit. Stačí na ten černej pruh postavit list papíru a koukat pěkně zblízka. Pak má každý oko svůj obraz a mozek už to smixuje to 3D. Tohle je poměrně stará technika pro vytvoření dojmu 3D.

  • You should switch left and right so CROSSING your eyes makes the image 3d. Otherwise, you need to relax/separate your eyes to get the desired effect. This REALLY hurts your eyes if you got a big monitor... :P

If you cross your eyes, everything his backwards in depth; the car comes towards you, but seems to be traveling away in distance. Best is to sit far away from the screen, relax, then try to 'lock' your eyes on it as you get closer. :)

    Bravo btw!!

  • yep. You're so right!

  • What the duece, I can get the image in focus but absolutely no 3d effect. All I see is three frames across (left, right, and a perceived center frame). Either this is very subtle, or doesn't work at all.

  • that center frame is the "3d" image. it works

  • focus on the percieved center frame, that's the one that appears 3D

  • i finally did it!! after like 20min of practice and google for info.. i almost couldn't do it it's still blurry to me..

  • it works on me only when I use one eye

  • lol...stupid...it can't work with one eye...

  • it is completely impossible to see 3d with one eye

  • crazy

  • AWESOME! I see it!! thats so cool!! This is the TV of the future!

Any body know of any more videos like this one?

  • use a list of hard paper or plastic apr. 50-60 sm long between nose and monitor to separate pictures. look far away THROUGH screen.

  • Cool ^^

  • I find the images too far apart to apply the "magic eye" technique. If the images were closer I think more people would get it.

Love Seinfeld? Hate Seinfeld? Click my name and vote in my video.

  • Yep, it is 3d when you cross your eyes

  • I got it.

  • it worked for me lol

  • What is the hidden frame that appears likes 3 times?

  • i get it, but didn't experience that much of an effect. but cool idea though. maybe it will work better if you move the camera closer to the object so that the angle between the two camera positions increases and the difference between the sight of the two "eyes" becomes even more noticeable? or maybe i'm an idiot because i'm the only one not seeing it i dunno.. :P

  • yo i didnt get this shit lmao.

Is it liek, one is on slat and anotehr one is less slanted or wtf?

  • i saw it in cross-eye technique but it not quit 3d

  • no me gusta

  • ich schaff es nciht !

  • it did work for me on the first try...

  • verepellung für die augen, trotzdem wirkt das!

  • jo rechts und links vertauscht. was dann passiert ist ja nu auch eher langweilig.

  • It does NOT work, since image pair needs to be swapped! It is arranged the wrong way.
