Its an Vauxhall Charlton Lotus. The english version of Opel Omega Lotus.

England does not have opel, all modells are named Vauxhall

@TheEspenK Actually this is the Lotus version of the Opel omega not the English version of an Opel omega Lotus (no such thing exists). Opel never made Lotuses even when they were owned by the same people. Basically Lotus was let loose on a bog standard Opel from GM and told to go crazy. Think of it as an AMG or M division version of a standard model, that's the effect GM were trying to get. Hope that clears it up :)

It's because of GM that Vauxhall and Opel have kind of been merged together. The point is, it's a LOTUS CARLTON. Lotus is BRITISH and so is Vauxhall. The car, therefore is entirely British. End of.

Wow this car is badass. I would love to own this car. This would have been the equivalent to the Chevrolet Impala SS in the US. It funny that it used a ZR-1 Corvette 6-speed. The motor in the 90's Corvette ZR-1 had a Lotus designed DOHC 5.7L V8. Good times!

I'd just like to say, anyone hurd of the ford falcon xy gtho phase 3? Its a 70's aussie car. 0-100km/h (60mp/h) in 6.4 secs, give that car the same tyres as the carlton, it would be pretty close, also top speed was 250km/h (150mph) Give it another gear and i think the carlton would be left behind. What about the hsv models of the 90's? They would of done 270km/h.
