Libertarian economics is suicide. Their open borders, and unfair free trade will never save America. Read The Paleo Conservatist and learn what WILL work.
The Situation Room: Pat Buchanan Talks About Ron Paul
On Youtube. Pat would rather have some neo-con in office than take a risk with RP. I am through with Pat. I have long had doubts about him but now they are confirmed.
I'm hoping the movement that RP's message has ignited wouldn't deflate after this is all over, i'm hoping that it would stir up something and this movement would would leave a mark on society and culture so in future candidates like him is not viewed as an "outsider". kinda like the barry goldwater effect.
If Ron Paul doesn't win we are finished...there won't be another chance! Things have gone too far for too long and nothing short of a revolution would change that. As always the American people have waited till the last possible moment politically to correct the problem. The RP revolution should have been happening over 10 years ago.
Any1 who's interested in america first would be cheering for RP. I support ron paul as much as the next guy(who's for america first). but some people are getting delusional into thinking that paul would win but a more scientific assessment would be to say that he has a fair chance but he wouldn't likely win(as much as that saddens me, this is more likely).
The Situation Room: Pat Buchanan Talks About Ron Paul
On Youtube. Pat would rather have some neo-con in office than take a risk with RP. I am through with Pat. I have long had doubts about him but now they are confirmed.
seriously? r u sane?, where was the badmouthing of RP,he has always supported him, anyone who has folloed Pat's ideas knows instinctively that paul is the closest to him idealogically. In situation room he stated something that is based on unbiased assesment(as in who would win the nomination). When someone asks u who will win the superbowl in 2007, will u say new england/ indy colts cuz they are so dominant or will u say Miami dolphins cuz they are ur personal favorite.
No you are insane or stupid. You didn't even watch the video. If you did you would know that Pat recommend RP NOT to run as a third party because he would hurt the GOP.
To hell with the GOP, they are run by open-boarder, welfare state neo-cons.
Your absolutely right, however I fail to see your point...like the Democrats are any better! What Buchanan is saying is he doesn't want the party hurt so the Democrats can take more control...that doesn't mean he wants a neo-con in there, he obviously doesn't if you listen to his interviews or read his book. Pat is a Constitutionalist.
Pat has betrayed the conservatives by sticking to the neo-con GOP and writing off RP. I will never be suckered into his self-promoting populist jive again.
Where???? there's 100 proofs that paul is his personal candidate and he has supported paul in almost every way, he has paul's video and other info onhis website and has said that he is the only hope of conservatives in 2007 for a lot longer than most people who just joined the bandwagon right now.
Why don't you watch the video I posted, idiot. I have more books by Pat than you have read in your entire life so I thank I can say with certainty that he will NOT support RP.
He has a diffrent job right now, we all know who he supports, but that doesn't mean he has to say it out loud, he can vocalize his support in so many ways, he has a journalistic contract now, therefore it's unethical for any1 in his position to endorse any1. unlike other people he at least doing the fair thing that's something we should applaud instead of nitpicking irrelevent things.
The moral majority took out Buchanan in 1996 because they thought he didn't have the support Dole did. Now that Pat Robertson is ridiculously endorsing that ethical black hole, Giuliani, Ron Paul has a great chance in 2008. I just hope egotism doesn't get in the way of the Republican Party, Paul is the only way they'll win.
Really, so how shoould he put his money where his mouth is....by leading a political thoughtgroup in times when it wasn't so popular and made fun of/ridiculed by the establishment while pat's political carreer was bbasically gone and he was more or less ostracized by the political establishments. OK, so what more do u want.
slavophile, at least sarjil is thinking at very intelligent level while you are thinking at a retard level! I'll take a few typo's any day over your crap for brains!
The republicans are exactly like the democrats. Open borders, higher taxes, bloated federal government, etc.
No one has read more books by Pat than me, but I do not care for him anymore. He will NOT endorse Ron Paul. I would take Rudy over Ron Paul as a third party candidate any day of the week.
Become a delegate if you want Ron to win. The voting system is dumb but the only way Ron will win is if enough delegates vote for him. Only Delegates!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
you can die knowing you've fulfilled your duty. Asking pat buchanon about ron paul. Howd you keep from shooting your pistols in the ceiling right there. I'm sure you ran outside and capped a few off after the call.
ahh loook who it is oldhacks havent heard from you comments in a while..lol good to see your still alive and kicking with opposition to us all ron paul supporters good to have competition lol...
It seemed that Pat danced around the question. He is educated enough to know all of the candidates by now. I wonder if the famous 'dead Austrian economist' idea is still around with him?
Imagine the impact of Pat Buchanan and Ross Perot endorsing Ron Paul... that would be a big deal because they each have A LOT of fans. The only thing standing in the way of that is that Buchanan and Perot each want it to be them and not Ron Paul as president, so i dont see it happening.
I think pat should be satisfied with his Big News money he's already earned and now quit the biz. He needs to get involved with the Ron paul campaign one way or another.
For those that say Pat was/is a racist...what is the proof to substantiate this. I do rememer that being the tag against him but I'd like something concrete.
There isn't any proof or even decent evidence for this. The fact is Pat is as close to Ron Paul in ideas as your going to get and has been for a very long time. Pat was just at the wrong place at the wrong time in the mid 90's when it was more of an in-thing for mainstream Americans to be politically correct nazis...gee's what a country we live in!
Buchanan is antiwar, anti-NAFTA and anti-illegal immigration. So is Paul. The few disagreements between the two are about as significant as the differences between Giuliani and Clinton - not much. Buchanan and Paul represent the traditional conservativism the necons despise so much, as evidenced by the Republican establishment's treat of both during their respective campaigns.
Buchanan has said that as a paid analyst for MSNBC he cannot endorse a candidate because it would undermine his credibility. He's right. But he has stated that Paul is the only true conservative in the race and has consistently given Paul as much props as he can without an official endorsement.
But Pat Buchanan can comment on Paul just like Tucker Carlson who does support Paul..not sure if he's going to vote for him..and he did in 1988 so PAT doesnt have to get infront the press and make a speech supporting Paul but he can speak about him whenever he wants as a pundit/commentator just like southern avenger does
I don't trust Tucker any farther than I can throw him. That "hookers for Paul" thing was a set up to smear Paul. Tucker was a total cheerleader for this war. Total establishment shill in our midst. And Buchanan can go suck Giuliani's ass.
Great video! I was a little younger than you when Pat was "big" and wasn't really paying attention to politics much then. I'm going to have to go look into him now.

Pat Buchanan couldn't openly support RP because Bay Buchanan was supporting Tancredo.
But that doesn't make Pat against Ron Paul.
The fact that Tancredo placed his support on Romney just proves how many sell outs are actually standing on the political stage.
