@bollrealle Most likely. You might want to watch the voltage though, maybe use a higher gauge wire, like maybe a 4 gauge instead of an eight( i think thats what the used in the vid.) And Shorten the wire as mentioned by exsploosivez. There is a big difference between a 4.5V and a 9V so the voltage would be to high for an eight gauge.

I belive its something else that dont work...or done wrong. But I cant say anything if u dont give any information. (are u sure the rotated wire inside the plug still are intact?) A glow plug dosent stand to be lighten for more than some seconds...

as said in the vid, glow plugs can be baught separately in model R/C shops. glow plugs are used in model nitro engines to enlight the fuel.

Når du berører den ene polen på batteriet med tuppen av ledningen lager du en sluttet strømkrets..det vil si at du slår på strømmen i ledningene...når glødepluggen får strøm begynner den å gløde(samme prinsippet som en lyspære og len lysbryter). Håper dette hjalp:)

Or instead of going all the way out to buy a glow plug... you can use a small christmas lightbulb. Just be sure when you crack the bulb housing you don't damage the fillament...
