A realistic and honest review; a disappointment. One of John Woo's worst films. The dialogue and chemistry was absolutely terrible, with plenty of stupid lines handled with the delicacy of a T-800. Not only was it written terribly, it was also acted terribly. If there's something the 80's and 90's proved to us, it's that STUPID PLOTS CAN HAVE GOOD DIALOGUE AND EVEN CHARMING ACTING.
Woo's not to blame for that, of course. But even the shots and the editing was lame. 2 out of 5 from me.
Can anyone tell me how VD took on 20 guys with a shotgun?Also why did that bloke at the end unscrew the grenade rather than just throwing it away....In real life they would have just slipped some polonium into his coffee to save all the hassle
@sysrq120 20 guys? the reality is you dont take on 20 guys with anything period. Maybe a mini gun, or Achilles with his sword, but other than that, yea I would have just thrown the grenade.
