Iran government system works in the same way as America. (Vote every 4 years EST.)Just think of it this way Religious leader replace the Supreme Court but do not bother with the day to day happenings the same as the Supreme Court in the US.

What is wrong with a secular world? Here is a list, - Communist China - War on "terror" - Soviet tyranny - Nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - Holocaust of Dresden - Capitalist tyranny - Modern and old Crusades - Arab oil emirates tyrants - Corrupted Arab caliphs - Al Qaeda, Talibans, Saudia, Lashkar-e Toiba All of them direct products of secularism in the world.
