Director Troy Duffy spoke about a potential sequel in an interview on June 13th, 2011. He said that "We’ve been approached to do a possible Boondock Saints TV series. So the fans may be getting a part 3 as a television show. We might be able to pull that off….I actually called both Sean and Norman and they both said “Hell yeah, we’ll drop everything.”

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you, I watched them be interviewed by fans in Germany, and they confirmed a third installment in wraps, and then a man asked if it was gonna be another 10 years, they laughed and said no, of course not. lol They're planning on it, but it still in the rough beginning, and Troy wants to make other films before.

Besides, the 40s are the new 30s, prime example: Johnny Depp. So as far as Reedus and Flanery go, they're far from finished :D
