@wpc45 Thanx! Hard to give suggestions. Any tempo can be good. Depends on the mood of the track. As for layering sounds, its up to the creator. I try blending lots of things to get a different sound or feel. Most of the time, it works. Id just say, try to be original and keep in mind that not every note/key works well together.

I use the organs in Reason and there are a couple good ones in Soundfonts which you can download for free on the net at a few sites.

Besides having sum extra drums and sounds, I think the keyboard is the key. People can definitely make sum hot tracks using FL & Reason. It just that tha majority of users make their tracks sound like SOFTWARE beats because they click all their notes making the notes sound stiff and programmed. Ya mean? But I know a couple cats that get it IN usin FL. No doubt.

Thanx! No vst plugins on this one. All Reason sounds and devices. I used the Thor and Combinator to get the organs and synths. The 808 I had is a simple 808 kit I made. The rest of the percussion came from drum kits I put together from different drums I've bought and downloaded. I finished it off with the Reason Mastering Suite.

Thanx! I actually used 2 different organs together. And they're presets. I love Reason's presets. But the breakdown of the organs is... the first organ has 2 different reverbs, a filter and 2 Matrix Pattern Sequencers. The 2nd organ has 2 seperate Flanger Effects, 1 reverb, and a Stereo Imager.

I always use tha Redrum for my drums. I got about 30 Drums kits I've created and put together myself that have become my signature sounds and drums. I made 2 different 808 drum kits. Used tha Redrum and just adjusted the pitch on the same drum 10 different ways.

Thank you! The synths and organs are stock sounds. Quite a few other producers over the years have told me not to use em and told me that they dont use em but... I USE EM! There are so many sounds in the Reason library I cant resist using some of em. The drums are from my personal percussion arsenal. LOL.
