I love your beatboxing. I love that you share what you know and you know what you're doing. I do have a couple of problems though. One, i'm having a lot of trouble with the outward snare. I've tried so hard and I'm really struggling, but it'd make my beats sound alot better. Any advice? Wendy. x
Send me a personal message with a more detailed explanation of the problems that you think you might be having. Let me know what outward snare you're talking about as well. The one used in this video-the outward K snare?
hey I was watching your video and its good and its a good practice for me too keep me form getting rusty lol. Ive been able to beat box for some time but never actually sat down and practiced or anything id just sorta do it on the whim lol. Im not very confident when people ask me unless im drunk or with me mate for him to rap lol so i thought why not practice and join in with the rest of the beat-box community.
I would love to! Unfortunately I don't have a camera:( I always made my videos at my work and then I left for school. I'll see what I can do about more vids but until then just practice slow and work out the syncopations. You may try just beatboxing with the bass and snare only and work on filling in with high hats later. Keep up the beatbox!
idk how you get your K snare to click like that. maybe it sounds different between doing it and hearing someone else doing it, but mine sounds like shit to me
The outward k snare was one of the first noises that I picked up on and taught myself how to do so I've been working on the articulation and technique for many years. Just keep practicing and it will start to sound better and better.
I started in 8th grade so I've been doing it for about Seven years now. It's nice being able to practice all the time without having to set up an instrument or set aside time. Practice in the shower, car, walking, relaxing, whenever and wherever and soon you'll notice a huge improvement in your skill.
Thanks for the video!!! I practiced this all day and sounded pretty good at the end of the day if I do say so myself... though my coworkers may have a different opinion. Keep up the great videos.

i have one question about your video... Why is it that Outwood snare is better for that than that on inwood snare?
I find inwood snaring easier for me, and outwood harder. Please send a message to me for your answer I would like to know to better myself thanks ^_^

It is really just a personal preference. I am actually starting to use the inward snare quite a bit for my Beatboxing. Keep up the good work.
