Those were Russian pilots in the Mig's and Chinese communists fighting in North Korea. Let's not forget North Korea invaded South Korea. Nah Hollywood has changed. A new Michael Moore movie called "Hill of Pork Chops" has just come out. In it Moore plays and American who realizes that North Korea is right, after burning an American flag he surrenders to Kim Sung Il who rewards him with all he can eat forever. They didn't defeat any American force here. A ton of Chinese had their hands full fighting a single U.S. rifle company that was doing the job a entire infantry battalion.

If anything this story is an object lesson in the perils of letting negotiators tie the hands of the guys doing the fighting.
