  • yes yes yes :):):):):):):):)

  • I think Johnny was best in this time era (I assume this is about the 70's or 80's) I have seen him live, and was dissapointed, he was great, very good, as he is here, but lately he has become rather commercialized and desensitized now.

  • Going back to the 60's, one of my favorite versions was by the Seekers.

  • A great singer!

His earlier recordings do him little justice due to such poor arranging and production. Maybe someone who understands modern production can remaster these recordings and perhaps even totally rearrange new tracts around his outstanding singing.

  • only one Johnny McEvoy :-)

  • cool version

  • öööh....

    what the hell is that?

    i prefere the dubliners

  • Does Johnny McEvoy ever take bathroom breaks?

  • curse my horrible aiming. was gonna rate 5/5 but hit 2/5 instead. anyways, great tune.

  • Great to see Johnny has not lost the passion and enjoyment of singing folk music. Youtube allows you to see artists at different stages of their careers, check him out singing Bold o Donaghue as a young man

  • awesome so kewl

  • He still has a nice voice but I preferred him in the sixties when he came on stage with a guitar and without all this accordion and other paraphernalia.

  • not bad but tommy makem my dear friend sings it much better

  • he did

  • ha ha yes he did.

  • fucking horrible version

Luke Kelly owns this song completely, his is without a doubt the best version of this song

  • Good version i must say

  • Nice version. Thanks for posting.
