Edwards, Love your hair, I work for a living and can't afford to pay to look so good. Price of milk, where I live, is fast approaching $7.00 a gallon, only WIC and welfare people can afford it. I pay tax for them to get the milk I can't afford to buy. What are you goinging to do to help, not hurt with Liberal laws, HELP?

But if you want an honest, hardworking, real president, elect John Edwards, my fellow Tar Heel and a self-made man that deserves any $400 haircut he gets.
I'd like to comment on the misguided comment from the person at the bottom of the page. Attacking immigrants is scapegoating the real problem, and that's corporate policies of keeping the poor man down. Wealthy elites have done this for years: first it was whites vs. blacks. Now, it's America vs. Mexicans. Wake up America. Edwards 08!!!! YES!!!
Just like Bush, John Edwards has turned his back on America's poor by supporting the massive immigration of low-skilled workers, both legal and illegal. That's driven down wages for low-wage earning Americans and made their situation far worse.
If you actually look at his policies, you'll realize that Edwards is as much a fake as Bush.
It is the policies, started under Ronald Reagan, of pretending to fight illegal employers while letting most of them get away scot free that has created the illegal immigration. It is American employers who finance the illegal immigration, just like Americans drinking alcohol financed smuggling during Prohibition.
And fixing that is the one thing that the Republicans will never do.
I'm familiar with his policies, and I've written thousands of posts on immigration. Edwards supports "reform" (aka amnesty) something that will encourage legal immigration of massive amounts of low-wage workers and that will lead to even more illegal immigration. All of that will lead to lower wages for the American workers Edwards pretends to support.
If you look at what his policies would actually do, you'll see that he's simply a charlatan.
