Her wanting to have children even as a single mom isn't a terrible thing. But continuing to have children after 3 or 4 is asinine! Continuing to have children after 6 is irresponsible! I have 2 babies and I know how much it costs. I can barely handle them. I think 1 person can only handle maybe 3-4 kids, the more kids you have the more help you need. When will she sleep? eat? How will she take care of herself, if she can't do that than what will she give her children. Her wanting to have children even as a single mom isn't a terrible thing. But continuing to have children after 3 or 4 is asinine! Continuing to have children after 6 is irresponsible! The fact that octuplets were a side effect of IVF is a sad fact. Being a mom of one, my husband and I don't have enough hours in the day. While I think she needs her head examined, the children should not suffer for the faults of their mom. She is going to need a lot of support for those children to be ok.

IVF rate of success IS low ,so many people I know get 3 implanted get no baby. Ad with all her medical history egg splits and all survive . I cannot judge her she is an excentric but I would have never been able to ask for a reduction of embryo. Hello! There are so many children in the world right now that need a loving family. Hadn't she considered adoption? I really think that she made an ego-based decision ("my" DNA, "my" kids). If she'd chosen to adopt 6 or even 14 kids, then she'd be lauded as an unselfish godsend instead of such a self-centered person. I feel so bad for these kids, may they be in gods hands. How are you going to have over one child knowing you cant take care of yourself and the bills than add 13 more? She's plain stupid, i feel like slapping her so bad in the face. "That was a plan of mine to have a huge family" oh yea? good luck trying to raise 14 kids with no father, no house of your own, no money, no food, ect. This woman is basically an attention whore.

Her Parents are looking after her 6 other kids. I am in the UK and if that happened over here they would probably be taken into social care and she would be ordered by the court to get a job.

i think this lady is very irrisponsible, and she shouldn't even be able to keep all the kids if she can't pay for them and take care of the things love alone can't. she also shouldn't get a goddamn dime from anyone, she might love her kids and want them, but she've obviously expecting everyone in ca. to pay for em, fuck that get a job and work until your 34 and get yourself settled if you wanted that life

at first i thought that she needed money and the fertility doctor was paying her to do testing, but i dont think so anymore. people think its messed up, she's sick like a phyco or something. i truly believe that she loves her children and she wants the best for them. sure she has no money and she has no husband and no real support but should someone ever be bothered or questioned for giving new life to the world? or wanting to have multiple children? if she can love them she can raise them
