Lies. People evolve their tastes and mature musically. I'm not saying they didn't rock hard, but do you still make out with the first girl you ever kissed? Didn't think so. Can you give me an example of any bands that sound exactly the same over long periods of time and continue to exist?
unearth, killswitch engage, as i lay dying, darkest hour, underoath ect.. They didnt stay exactly the same but they kept their roots, and stuck to the same genre's they originated from for the most part. This band did a 360 and with the talent they had..it was for the worse in my eyes. Thats great they evolved and what not but hopesfall and dead poetic did the same thing. The older material was just more passionate and experimental. I like raw vibes in music..far-less is now a mediocre band.
I just got the chills.. I love this song so much, i recently got a toast to bad taste, its good but not the best.. their old stuff was so amazing!!
