I bought this series probably like 5 years ago, tired of watching robots, violence and general anime. Took a chance and it paid off, Love this series. Heard this song play many times in the series, thought it was spellbinding!! Now I know what it's called. Maybe I'll add the OST to my collection, but It's probably long sold out... :(
I thinks its so great how this song went so well with kare kano and evangelion 2.22.Its rare to find a song that can speak to you when your happy,sad,or just troubled in some way.
No BS, the characters in this anime are myself and my fiance, almost verbatum. We watched it together and were kind of shocked at how similar our own histories are compared to theirs, the only difference being that I have my parents still and I'm not quite and messed up in the head as Arima is supposed to be. Loved this, one of the last good pieces of Gainax anime.
This song was actually played in Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0, probably has to do with the fact that Anno directed both Kare Kano and Eva and Shiro Sagisu was the composer for both series.

it summaries the stress and pressure of a high school life, and really capturing the lonely and confused feeling of a virgin-to-love type person. this song i play when i am sad confused or lonely i need to do nothing but to think and collect my thoughts.

Its as if this song embodies the concept of love. sounds cheesy i know but i cant help but feel it when i listen to this. Kare kano is just so beautiful. Such beautiful music it fits the anime so well.

Has always reminded me of autumn for some reason. Sakura trees flicking by in silence seem appropiate. The OST pretty much made Karekano for me back in the day...
