  • However you want to do it is the right way. It can be a challenge trying to spin them in your hand without them separating. There is more than one way to use them..

  • Learn how to do it right

  • The tough part is to spin them WITHOUT the balls TOUCHING EACH OTHER! Its a lot harder than it looks. Try it..... In just a few minutes the muscles in your hand will ache!

    LOL

  • you arent supposed to clink them together... they are supposed to glide, and make a ringing sound.. you suck at it..

  • very bad Oo

  • @godfearer626 GO BED

  • where do you buy those?

  • lol those chinese

  • I could see that they were stucked together! XD

  • you see them separate for a split second, also you can hear them grinding together.

if its done right the stress balls look like they are connected.

  • No, they obviously weren't. you could hear the snapping sound of them collided every once in a while, and you could even see them separate.

  • FUCK YOU!

  • YE FUCK YOU!!!!!!

  • LOL!!!

Do You Say It To Me Or Him?

  • fuck who?

  • lol him >:D

  • I don't think there really is a right or wrong way to use them, just different techniques.

I have been to Baoding many times, it is fun to see the old men using them in the parks.

If you would like to see more Chinese Therapy Ball videos or information about the latest Finger Fitness teaching techniques go to the website HandHealth.

  • You did it wrong the whole video.

THey were touching the whole time.

  • So what? They´re going round that imaginary axxis in the middle. That´s just one way to play with those balls.

  • Well yeah.

You can "play" with them however you'd like.

But if you want to actually "use" them correctly, they can't touch.

  • I think that all the positiv effects those balls can have (like compression / massage, transport of warmth etc.) also work if you play them like in the video. I play those balls too in order to train my fingers for the guitar- cannot say when it "works right" or not. ;)

  • They're used for help with Alzheimer, to help stimulate the pressure points in your hands, and to increase blood flow.which is good for acupuncture.

They won't be as stimulated if you try to use the boading balls incorrectly (like in the video)

When you keep them from touching, you are using more muscles in your hand, which is what stimulates those points.

Please make sure you know what you're talking about before you get into this discussion.

  • I´m sorry for being an occupational therapist- indeed i know exactly what i´m talking about (but my english isn´t that good) and i think we both know what´s the point: the "best" way to work with the balls is the "Fliehkraftdrehen" (ref. Hans Höting) (sorry, i have no english explanation for this, the situation when the balls don´t touch each other). For certain patients it may be indicated to work with less muscles, it depends on the patient and the qualities you want to improve.

  • Muscle movement in general will indeed transport heat.

And yeah, I'm sure you can use them to loosen up your hand for guitar playing.. in the same way that wiggling your fingers would also do the same thing.

  • Actually, from what I have read, you're right. I don't know why people keep "marking you down". If you other douche bags want to be assholes about it, why not look it up yourself instead of trying to put someone down just because you THINK you are right.

  • lol, grow up, you have no clue at all what you are even talking about.

  • Did ANYONE take time to rationalize the fact the person doing this has SMALL hands and would need SMALLER balls in order to make them "not touch"?

  • Haha.... " smaller balls "

  • you do it wrong you must not let them touch
