I love cars! I grew up on a racetrack! Thats all my dad, grandma & uncle did! But this shit is scary, especially when u have bad shit happen to ur family over racing. My brother n law who is my husbands half brother, his real dad died racing. Then my dad raced a motor cycle last Labor Day, got in a terrible accident & was in a vegitative state for 3 mnths & now he's def! They dont know if he'll hear again!

You must have no idea about drag cars. They are possibly the safest cars you can get. they have massive roll cages and 8 or 10 point harnesses. The car is made to crumble so none of the body or other junk is in the way of rescuing the driver, who stays strapped into his seat. Most drivers can walk away from a crash like this.

They do have goor cages. Wish they made road cars like that, well, they kinda do bbut what do i know lol
Just the fact that the other car drove through him at 200 mph and he survived would tell me that is a safe car to be in. BTW those cars have chrome-moly tube chassis, not Fiberglass as you stated

What happened was his car swirved to the right and he ran over the slippery surface and he overcorrected and flipped the car. Once he flips th other car hits the passenger side. The combanation of the rollcage and since he got he on the passenger side it saved his life.
this isnt suicide, if look look he loses the back end of it trys 2 correct, it does correct but then his wheels where still turning left and boom there u go.
No one died. The car lost control and the car swerved to the side. He was in severe condition in hospital but he didn't die. The other driver survived unscathed with only a few scratches I believe. It was not suicide and he didn't die. If he did die they wouldn't show it on the news.
This isn't racing. It's just a stupid horsepower competition. Real racing is about taking corners at high speed (real corners, not boring Nascar Ovals)
nope... the human body is a piece of shit. The ENGENEERS are damn good. This cars are a real state of art and even in the worst crashes, the pilots survive in 95%!
