No, I think 'Tecnical' is off an RTS game called Command & Conquor Generals.

I think it is, its been ages since I've played it but my little brother still plays is so I'll ask him.

I'm not sure what thier real name is, or what thier operators call them.

Military terms just say 'Jeep' or 'LAAV', which is probably closer to the actually vehicle itself to be honest.

Technical is the term for a noncombat vehicle upgraded for combat purposes. Pretty popurlar among armed groups with limited ressources.
