  • Great!!

  • Oh man, this is insanely good.

  • Scatological and splendid.

  • How I would have loved to meet this man, or one day meet his reincarnated counterpart somewhere in the timeline of my life.

  • Thank you so much, this is simply delicious!

  • Euxaristw yia ta dokimanter, exeis wrea praymata.

  • @MelasChupa parakalw

  • Great Henry Miller. I was recently in Brooklyn

at the phony DUMBO street fair.

I walked around Columbia Hgts & Montague St

where I used to live. Kinda disappointing.

I don't blame Jonathan Lethem for moving to LA.

  • this is awesome. thanks for posting

  • Is this his house in NYC? Where was it exactly?

  • @bonheurbrunno, no, not NYC. this house is in Pacific Palisades, California.

  • Happy Birthday, Henry Miller!

  • Thank you so much for posting. Wonderful video. Drink it up!

  • Thanks for posting!

  • Love the surprising interlude with the film..

  • This guy is certainly more interesting than Herman Hesse which my friend as declared is his personal identity, show some interest in others instead of praising one self is what Henry would say, another clever Capricorn

  • Drink up.

  • @Ioannakis - Do you know what ever happened to the pictures in his bathroom, after he died.

Perhaps a Henry Miller museum is something the world sorely misses...

  • @Devmeister91 i've no idea what happened to them. nor could i find anything here - h t t p : / / c o s m o t c . b l o g s p o t . c o m / - but thought i'd link you anyway. the blog's a bonanza mine. drop me a line if you open that museum, would you?

  • @Devmeister91 there is a henry miller museum, it is in big sur, california - in the very house shown in the video. Whether the pictures in the bathroom are still there; I have no idea

  • @Hapworth1924 is it also a museum? fascinating! ...incidentally, the house in this video is in Pacific Palisades, California. filmed about 13 years after he'd moved from Big Sur.

  • @Ioannakis if i'm not mistaken the museum is actually in his old house in big sur, so it wouldn't be the house in the video obviously. the house in bug sur is definitely a museum, open to the public :)

  • All this in a bathroom.

  • Love this man. Even in his old age so full of life and character. I'd rather hang around him at that age than a bunch of 21 year olds! Legend.

  • @SeedsofJoy not bad for a man in his eighties is he?

  • My hero. Have fun wherever you are.

  • I really love his writing and am in the midst of reading Stand Still Like the Hummingbird right now...

  • i love his smile

  • I like the way he says "yeah yeah" after he finishes drying the woman

  • anyone who thinks he hates women is an idiot

  • @theseventhprotocol heya buddy, could you tell me what influence you mean? looking at his bathroom wall it seems he took influence from such apparently disparate cultures that it was inevitable that the Hebrews would wind up in there somewhere. but when you say definitely influenced i presume you have something special in mind. i'm interested to hear (i presume you're not a crackpot - and am asking in good faith).

  • schoene gruesse aus deutschland

  • The crudest philosopher. A saint. A disgusting deviant. He had style, authenticity. The great poet to ever write of sex, thoroughly and genuinely. A messiah, in a way. Not of this world, an expatriate. He knew everything good, learned it with a spiritual seriousness, turned it into proper reading--funny and high-brow, equally. Has the ability to turn the explicit into the undeniably comforting. That's all I got.

  • god i just want to be henry miller's friend. i bet he was so cool to hang out with

  • well this is going straight to my favorites

  • This is absolutely amazing, such an interesting person with so many stories to tell

  • The master of fuck

  • Wow,never knew this existed! Absolutely fantastic!

  • Cops are hysterical. The supposition that there are a few bad apples doesn't reflect reality. Virtually ALL cops are sadists. This is the reason why their sadistic behavior goes unpunished. The cops relish beating mothers & children and love the fact that it's filmed. [Let us gag one another for sport.]

  • A love the asian chick!

  • @Mrskullface40 - you mean the one with the huge wobbly cottage cheese butt that came out of the shower? :-\ ?

  • Thanks for this! x

  • My absolute total hero. always keeps me straight, and if i ever need reminding to grow a pair - all i have to do is think of henry.

    love you always Val.......

  • This is brilliant! Thank you.

  • Miller....proof that the English language can be just as poetic and passionate as any fire that burns bright...

  • Wonderful! Wonderful! I think Miller's etheric music is what Daniel Higgs would call "Tintabulations."

  • Hey, this is great! thanks! x

  • FUCKING DIVINE. MISS YA, MILLER

  • Men owning men is a prisoner's reality. Millions of American parents dope their fidgety children, as they've been convinced, by the govt., that childish behavior in children is a mental illness.

  • Henry Miller: Always Merry & Bright...

  • Superb! Thank you so much for this.

  • Man, you put it up! Any chance of the other documentaries too? Sorry for being rude but if you can do this - the only one on you tube! - then you have claimed the crown. Any way malaka, good job. Kalos.
