  • Jack's the fucking Shizzle!

  • ball and biscuit solo's. beautiful :D

  • Ok people calm down. We're all entitled to our own tastes. But honestly, playing scales at 100mph over the fretboard is really fuck all worth in music. Not that I'm against metal but that shit isnt blues. Anyway. Why are you watching something you think is so bad? Go pretend you know how to play Motorhead riffs and leave the rest of us alone.

  • fuck you and your stupid steve vai jhon petrucci and there bullshit shreddings

i d rather listen to jack white blues or to bb king 2 notes in 10 second than to your stupid metal fuck you !!

  • @algrand90 aww, someone took it too personal :) now you're just making a fool out of yourself...but then again, fanboys usually do that :)

  • metalreaper just try to sound like him i'm sure you cant cause you playing is a copy of all metal guitarists you could only do shredding

  • does anyone have a list of the white stripes song used in this video?

  • I wonder where you can get red jeans.

  • topman does them :)

  • thats my only question...

  • @greendagger5 H&M (:

  • Rolling stone magazine is the music magazine for people that know nothing about music. Nothing more needs to be said about it.

  • no it wasnt :D

  • it's a slide and whammy pedal, what you've never heard jack white?

  • no i'm pretty sure that effect was the same tom morello uses where a pedal changes the pitch... and yeah he plays a different style... but is it good? meh. I think his uniqueness comes from the effects he's using... not the actual playing.

  • Yeah that's called the whammy pedal. and he's playing the guitar with a slide.

  • Do you play guitar? obviously not... There is the whammy BAR on the guitar, and then there's the WAH pedal controlled by his foot. Which are you talking about? because first, the wah pedal doesn't change the pitch, it changes the tone (treble and bass) and the whammy bar can only lower the frequency...

unless the pedal that changes the frequency IS called the whammy pedal... but that's confusing...

  • yeah I do, dude. This is a Digitech whammy pedal. Search on guitar center or even google "Digitech Whammy pedal" It's a pedal that changes pitch. Really it's not rare. So befoere you question my guitar skills maybe check what your saying before you flip out like that.

  • K I didn't flip out. and at the end of my previous comment, ,I acknowledged that I could be wrong, which I ended up being. So maybe you should cool your jets, man. Don't be a hater.

  • Don't be a hater? Wow..

  • yeah. I guess it must blow your mind to figure out you're a hater. It's pretty obvious to everyone.

  • Lol dude Hater thats so RAD BRO!!! DUDE HATER BRA!!! SICK HOMES

  • I guess anything blows your mind. Lol, funny. Now you're just trying to compensate for your hater-ness by writing useless shit. Bravo. I never saw it coming.

  • SICK DUDE AHAHAHAAHHAH YAYAHAH ABRA HIT THE BEACH MOTHER ABE! dick dick dick your a retard zimbabweland EF

  • sssss

  • K I didn't flip out. and at the end of my previous comment, ,I acknowledged that I could be wrong, which I ended up being. So maybe you should cool your jets, man. Don't be a hater.

  • the pedal that changes the octave is called a whammy pedal mr. zimbabwe

  • cool your jets dickhead

  • see?? that's what I'm talking about. just calm down. no need to call people names.

  • Both of you lick my hairy nut sack. Are you seriously arguing on youtube comments LOL! cut the shit

  • lol. I was just trying to piss him off near the end, and it worked. So yeah, no more "arguing"... hehe

  • No need to get so defensive either. lol

  • well, if you were attacked, what would you do?

    >attack

    > defend

  • Do you really think he's a great guitar player? Or is it just fashionable to like garage shitty type music.

  • If you agree with this, give it a thumbs up.

    jack white is amazing.

    He is amazing because...

He has pulled the best out of music and dragged it into his songs and guitar playing either in the stripes or raconteurs.

  • Most underrated guitar player of all time

  • Most overrated guitar player of all time

  • how can you say he's overrated...and of all time? he plays like no one else out there today

who would you consider good? just frickin' shredders i'm sure

  • Just because he doesn't play like anyone else doesn't make him great. Angus Young is one of my favorite guitar players along w/ Billy Gibbons. I also like Dave Mustaine, Zakk Wylde, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Also, What is wrong with shredders?

  • You like Zakk Wylde and you think this guy is overrated... wow

  • go to hell you fuckin waste of life, JACK WHITE RULES!!!

  • You're an idiot....just because you like Jack white more does not make him the better guitar player...so fuck off

  • Farewell ballad, like a bird, lead me to your door, blood is thicker than water, In this river, Try these....might change your opinion

  • jack rules and his guitar playing hands are made of hot fire.

  • amazing ... it's (i think) one of the most gresteast guitar player of the 2000 years...(since slash ^^)

  • this man is up there with the best of them, the range of talent he has is outstanding.

  • total improvisation i love it

  • n/m song at 5:40?

  • the song is "little accorns" it's on the "elephant" album.

  • song is "Little Acorns" from the album Elephant

not sure what n/m means tho

  • What are the songs used on here?

  • well which song is the one at 3:45

  • @ 3:45 that is actually Jack's solo on "Blue Veins" with the Racontuers (from their first album)

This solo is from a live recording

  • I think he Is a great guitar player. My favorite is HendriX but like both because of the style of music they play. They both play guitar like it is a full fledged attack on the instrument. To say he is not talented would be a total lie.

  • He rules.

  • He is a legend already, it's not like hes some bad guitarist who can barely play in some emo band.

He is an amazing musician with definitely talent and has loyal fans.

He can play so many instruments, guitar, piano, marimba, drums, bass and mandolin. possibly even more which we don't know about, hes also one of the best song-writers around right now.

And Jacks been loved by fans of The White Stripes for 10 years now, so why can't they make it another 10 years? of course he will.

  • Agreed DinosaurSoda. One of my all time fave guitarists. While nothing is overly complicated or long (thank god its not like 15 minute solos), its all in the polish. Jack owns.

  • he's already a fuckin' legend. and why would jimmy page endorse him as his sucessor if he was not someone who would be known in ten years?

  • jack white is just amazing i love your video great job!!!

  • i love jack white!

  • What show is the Blue Veins solo taken from? Sounds amazing

  • Wonderful video!

Jack White is a true legend, whatever anyone might say.

  • He's awesome,I love him

  • pretty good sound

  • And you are too young to have seen legends. All the legendary bands were gone before you were even born. They reunite occasionally but touring year after year is over. Those players were Testarosas. The new ones are Chevy Cavaliers

  • I hate to break it to you but just because you're getting old doesn't mean that music has gotten worse. don't get me wrong I love clapton, hendrix and all those old 60's 70's guitarists. But you gotta realize that great music has not come to an end, maybee Jack White isn't your style, not really surprising, he's very unique but me and countless others idolize the man, he has far more musical talent than 99% of the world and far more creativity than 99% of the world. He is already and legend

  • Best Rock & Roll guitarist of our generation. Jack White is the Lamb of God!

  • it's an old cheap guitar? who cares, you can't judge talent by what type of guitar they play, it's how they use it, much like cock size i believe?... don't come here leaving hate on my videos when you clearly have no idea about Jack White, Slash, a guitar legend said that Jack White is the only living great guitarist around... so i'm hardly going to believe an idiots comments like yours over slashs and my own opinions.

  • oh and fashion is what you make it, his style is unique, just because he doesn't wear what is in magazines and catwalks doesn't mean hes not fashionable.

  • honestly that is the stupidest point i haeve ever heard if hes using a shitty guitar and stil making it sounds great isnt that more of a credit to him? And why do you go to a jack white video just to bash him? If you hate it so much go listen to something you actually like.

  • ten, you're an idiot. his guitar is customized for him, and if he can do what he does with this guitar, he's a god. Also, the way they dress is all image....a marketing genius is what JW is!!!!!!! he could;ve had a career on Madison Ave. any day

  • great guitarist!!!!

  • gah! i can't stand slideshow videos! pretty interesting playing though.

  • me too but there are a lot of songs i never listened before...

  • how can Jack White hurt your ears? are you crazy or do you just not appreciate unique and beautiful music?

  • What's the one at 2:00?

  • Catch Hell Blues

  • whats the second song

  • ball and biscuit

  • lol this is good but its not even jacks best

  • 2:21 - 2:30 is just one of my proofs, though the very beginning is pretty close too lol

  • Technically this is not a video lol...but i love it still

  • What is the song before Little Acorn?

  • Hypnotize :)

  • Thank you

  • whats the song at the very end DinosaurSoda?

  • That would be Little Acorns, from the album "Elephant."

  • Thank you JonSchoen!

  • my favorite musician of all the time

  • the only jack white stuff i have is the first four white stripes albums... his other music is a different style.

  • just get behind me satan is, the icky thump album is a lot like elephant

  • where can i find floating? and whats the song at 4:38? i havent heard those two anywhere

  • Floating can be found if you google 'raconteurs concert live' under pages from the UK

and Girl, you and no faint in medicine.

  • thanks

  • thanks

  • thanks

  • hey what's the song before blue veins?

  • floating, it is a cover (jape).

  • I love the part of blue vein at around 3:50-4:38. He's my hero.

  • what a fucking legend.

hes without a doubt the most undderrated musican of all time.

  • and i cant find the verry last solo enymore didnt put that one on my favorites and now i forgot what is called( ya i know pretty dumb)

  • What is the song at 4:46?

  • doctorsatanist (3 weeks ago)

    Whats the song at 4:42?

    raytothemond (3 weeks ago)

Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine.

    from elephant.

    :)

  • Thanks DinosaurSoda.

  • what song is starting at 1:02 its the only one i cant find

    love this vid!

  • Ball and Biscuit from Elephant.

  • WHOA! whats the song at about 3:00

i don't recall it from anywhere and

    i want it badly

  • Floating.

  • Anybody can tell me what kind of distorsion or pedal JAck use?

  • a vintage big muff pi with an mxr micro amp and digitech whammy, amongst a few others. you should easily be able to google it and find out. (btw, i doubt you can achieve his sound even if you buy all his pedals, your gonna need the amps and guitars definetly)

  • what song was that at 3:05?

  • catch hell blues!

  • the third solos awsome

wots the name of the song ?

  • The first song sounds like it's from:

    September 20, 2003

    The Joint

    Las Vegas, NV

    Am i right?

  • Actually the 1st solo is from the Under Blackpool Lights DVD (Death Letter)

  • The Air Near My Fingertips has an awesome hook-riff at the opening that really grabs you, and you're hooked throughout; its organ sound is strong as well.

Little Cream Soda is such a new idea, because they've always been garage bluesy to me, but this just seems like it's straught-up blusey metal.

  • Air near my fingers is a favourite of mine :)

  • hell yeah. the meaning is bit disturning... or so I've been told.

  • Hey! You're forgetting The Three Took My Baby, Screwdriver, Jimmy the Exploder, Icky Thump and Conquest. Icky Thump and Conquest have, in my opinion, the most interesting sounds and solos, for that matter, of any White Stripes song. oh, and Blue Orchid is also a good one too. it has a sick solo section.

it's not very long, but has a couple of sweet riffs.

  • Whats the song at 4:42?

  • Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine.

  • Thanks raytothemond, I appreciate it! :D!

  • Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine.

  • they also use th at song in the game skate. am i right? its a great song ;)

  • nice job on the vid

  • good job dude ;)

  • God, Jack White is amazing.

  • 1:17 is the greatest by far.

  • what is the name of the song that starts at 3:43?

  • blue veins

  • thank you

  • On męczy gitare... Biedne maleństwo ;(

  • nice! very nice! most cool pics in one slideshow... oh yeah. but, what means that 'lafayette'?

  • i think its a place in europe
