Once in Cold Hard Crash I was messing around near the bonus entrance (which you have to jump down into) and I jumped over it and barely landed on the other side, kinda going into the entrance a bit first, so the bonus actually started up while I was still in the level. It had the music, the orange bonus letters on the top, and the box and wumpa fruit counts. It's funny because it actually counted if I got a box or wumpa fruit!

I have a PAL slim silver PS2 and have recently been playing Crash 2 again on it and touch wood, I haven't had any problems. Some of these glitches are quite funny (especially the Eel Deal Bonus where you suddenly vanish- what the hell? lol) but I can imagine they must be seriously annoying when you are trying to complete the game seriously and really enjoy it (the fact that the music has slowed down is distracting :()

The speed that the disc is spinning is a factor, but it could also be the cause that the PS2 slim plays PS games on a emulation basis, not like the fat PS2. Maybe that is the cause, because I have the same problem with some other PS games, although this game is fine for me.

Yes, but the region-lock works only on DVD:s. But you are right, it seems to be a poorly set or corrupted emulator without frame limit.
