  • In title "LighRoller" :P Correct it :P

  • In the process on making another long awaited video, to all subs it will be another Titanic video. However, song suggestions are need, so please message and comment your suggested songs :D plus how would people feel if i made another officers tribute?

  • @mileyooxx before tributes to officers captain smith grounded 3 ships had coal fires on 2 others officer Lowe at gunpoint in lifeboat 14 ordered a 14yr boy out of lifeboat at gunpoint and got into this lifeboat himself and all Italian waiters in dining rooms were held below at gunpoint whilst titanic sank under them non were saved don't make tribute to officers make it to all people that needlessly died kind regards

  • where did you get that scene at 0:40 can you send it to me ??

  • Holy crap! 0:42. Murdoch shares the same birthday with me.

  • I have the eyewitness titanic.Doesn't have Murdoch's death. But very intresting things like the lifeboats had crackers and water. No body ever discoverd them.

  • 6th officer James Moody is one of my relatives R.I.P

  • Just found it on Amazon. The rest of the title is "The Odyssey of C. H. Lightoller". I highly recommend it. Has a couple of very amusing tales of his experiences at sea prior to being assigned to Titanic. He took part in the rescue of British soldiers at Dunkirk during Britian's entry into WWII. Lost his youngest son in the opening days of the war and his eldest son in the closing days. Tragic. But he really lived an incredible life.

  • @maryanne151 sounds really intresting, i will defo have a look on amazon, thanks :)

  • @mileyooxx There are 20 something ex-library hardcover books available on Amazon for anyone interested. Some very reasonably priced. Also has loads of good pictures.

  • All of you Lightoller aficionados, try to get a copy of Patrick Stenson's biography on him entitled "Lights" (more to the title but I don't remember it all and I can't find it by googling). I rented it from my local library back when the movie first came out. The most interesting life I have ever read about. He commanded a destroyer in WWI, rammed a German U boat, sank it, had to run his own ship backwards to port because of damage sustained. And so much more. What a life!

  • at 0:41 it shows him on a boat, is this a deleted scene or another movie?

  • @RossKid2010 yes, its one of the deleted scenes :)

  • @mileyooxx can you send me that scene

  • At my school in Garden Grove, Im in sixth grade and im doing a play on the titanic. i am Lightoller. he was the only officer who really understood the orders "women and children first" and he was very brave and i give him my tremendous respect

  • @baberaider18 yes he was a bloody good officer, one of my fave :)

  • @baberaider18 Him and Harold Lowe and James Moody were the ones who really understood that.

  • @clwgirl510 Lol this was an OLD comment but thanks

  • cpt smith-stoke-on-trent

  • Wow love your video! I never knew you loved Titanic and other british liners as well;)

I maded a few crew tributes myself that I'm you'd love! I absolutely adore the Officers, Wirless operaters, Lookouts, and of course Andrews!

  • @Whatalovelyday90 thank you :) i have always been into titanic and that sort of thing and absolutely love the crew, i really enjoyed your titanic videos to, my fave are your band of brothers videos :)

  • btw was tht lightroller sliding down tht rope at 3:27?

  • @sdmf6266 yeah i think it is. :)

  • @sdmf6266 yes it is 100% sure because i read this story about the titanic and it said that lightoller threatened the men who tried to escape with the women and children using a revolver. the orders were men and women first

  • i noticed that as well thought he was really good in this film to me he stands out form the other officers not wearing a shirt and tie the night the ship sank. i also like the fact despite the lifeboat tunred upside down he never gave up on it using it as a raft

  • thanks for up loading this. I watched this film last night and i love 2nd officer Lightoller. i think he is a real hero i noticed in the film that when he was first putting people in the lifeboats he had his long coat on but when u see him standing on top of the upside down life boat he does not have his long coat on? wonder when he took it off and where he put it mybe he gave it to someone in the boat to keep them warm?

  • @TheBoaby08 wow never noticed that, thanks for commenting :)

  • I love this♥

  • @Kalmanlah glad you like it :)

  • The vid is quite nice. Although, may I ask why you left out Chief Officer WIlde and Sixth Officer Moody? They died as heroes there.

  • great song! rip titanic crew members

  • Thank you for posting! I understand you want to make another video. Well I would love to see one for Captain E.J Smith. He really was a brave, heroic, honourable Captain and feel there should be a video for him. Of course its just a suggestion. But great video anyway!!!

  • thank you, I'll try and make Captian smith tribute for you, any music you think will go well?, i have one in mind

  • Um, I can't think of any at the moment, what did you have in mind?

  • Thank you for this video. I loved Lightoller's first appearance in the movie....the grand entrance in that long, sweeping coat. And I most appreciate the scene at :40 of him standing atop the overturned lifeboat directing the others. Too bad that was deleted from the movie. It had to have been one of the most dramatic events of the night. Amazing that anyone could have survived standing on that boat for hours in the freezing cold after being dunked in the ocean.

  • pleased u like it :]

  • You are so right about Lightoller! He's totally amazing! I love the actor who played him in the movie as well. He looks so much like the real Lightoller! I wonder if he is somehow related to the real Lightoller as the resemblance is amazing and he is English too. I love his accent, it's so sexy just like he is.

I love this video too, especially since it was dedicated to me! They should have left that scene of him in the movie as it was the best!

  • thanks :]

  • I still watch this at least a couple times a week and still love it and Lightoller. Thanks again for posting this. Much Luv.

  • ur welcome, pleased u like it, i really want to make another video, but i can think of any music, i want something sort of sad but with some sort of conection to titanic, if u can think of any i'll put a few lightoller clips in :]

  • There is MY HEART WILL GO ON EN ESPANOL that is sung by Celine Dion. It is on my favorites. The song is a little different from the english version, but very pretty with a taste of sadness. It really is for Lightoller. Thanks so much

  • Another great song that would fit would be MY IMMORTAL by Evanescence. This would be a great song for Titanic. This would be great for Lightoller, Murdock and Lowe. Take care

  • Very Well Made!

  • WOW!! Thanks for the dedication! As usual, Lightoller looks SEXY!! I love it! This will be added as a favorite, to be sure. The song is beautiful as is the tribute. The guys deserve it.

10 stars for this one! Thanks, hon.

  • very interesting vid showing these poeple on board the titnaic as it was sinking and what they were doing what they must have been thinking as this was happening!

which the whole bloody thing never should have in the frist place thta ship never should have sunk it's just as simple as that really and if and when there would be a real way to stop it from happening i would seek it out and stop it once and for al and then well!
