  • Wonderful AD!

  • The Pendolino is a beautiful piece of design. Sleek and majestic. I have worked with on track on the WCML since they were introduced, and I still look at them in awe every time one whizzes by me at 125mph with full tilt. The purists don't like them, but unless its an '86' or a '55', they don't like much.

  • @badbob1982 "86" or "55" your lucky, I never stop hearing the old farts complaining unless its an LNER A Class.

  • Rotten. awful contraptions.

Virgin can spin this crap all they want, nothing will change the fact. Yeah, the 390s are great technically, but the passenger environment is worse than dire.

Pity we're stuck with this garbage for years.

  • @The86416 I travel every single day on Virgin to London and I think the new equipment is wonderfull

  • clever ad

  • Is it just me or is the Day Marker light on at the rear of the train at 0:09

  • yes it is, it looks like a reversed clip, because the train is also on the wrong line

  • My favourite virgin train advert! (and to answer your description... yes it was shown on TV)

  • This advert shows how amazing pendolinos really are :)

  • At 0:47 the Pendolino seems to be going over the Royal Border Bridge in BErwick... ON THE OTHER MAIN LINE

  • Love it! :-D

  • Has anyone got the Virgin Trains advert where they used the music from the re-make of the film "The Thomas Crown Affair"?

  • return of the shit more like pendelinos suck!

  • Can't imagine them saying that on the advert though! :-)

  • No they dont, best train in the UK.

Dont argue with me, It's my opinion. You have your opinon End of!

  • @v390 I agree, these people that want bloody steam trains pulling people from Glasgow-London or old diesel are just crazy, yes they may have been great in the 40's - 60's but after time equipment becomes less efficient and breaks down much more frequently. No body can argue that steam/diesels locos are amazing things but these companies need reliability and an experience to make their customers happy not railway enthusiasts, after all you wouldn't still see BA flying DC-8/707's across the pond!

  • @tonightwefly

on that note, seeing concorde hopping the pond would be nice

  • @turbo1431 Can't argue with that lol
