@DynamiteKiwi Because KH story isn't over, and FF...well unless it's a "-2" the story doesn't even connect. TWEWY kind of ends in a way that's hard to follow up unless they just want to have a story that doesn't really connect with the previous characters or if they want to do some prequel.

TWEWY is my favourite DS game, story was amazing! I am so pleased they decided to put these characters in the Kingdom Hearts game.. best game on the DS by far and now they are soon to be in the best game on the 3ds

@XxAngiexXRPI If I remember correctly, you have to go to Dogenzaka and talk to Ken Doi (ramen guy). He'll give you a box of swag. I can't remember the pig noise location or whether or not there is a boss noise. If you didn't get those yet, scour the areas available. Remember to LOOK AROUND. It can be such a bitch noise hunting XC.
@homicidalpsychokat hmm see I think I might've done that already cause I also have a star for (defeated all pig noise) I have every breed of piggeh unlocked, I killed Mr. H's Noise form (Pantherus Cantus) and whenever I go to ken doi he just gives me ramen :/ do you know what to do next?
@XxAngiexXRPI Alright, you need to defeat noise #94 (Snake Kitaniji) at the Rubicon directly after defeating Konishi. You need the bridge to be in place in order to find his sigil at the side of the screen. DO NOT progress to the Trail of the Bygone or else you'll have to start over. I had to bust out my DS to get this information so there XD.

(he did at first, it was when you met the REAL joshua in the same area where Neku and joshua played "the lase game") when I try to go there now Neku says that he has nothing to do there and should turn back :(
@XxAngiexXRPI Alright, NOW I understand your question. In order to get Beat's report, you'll have to find all the secrets in that day(7). In order to to THAT you have to get the report for the day prior. It sounds like you've got a ways to go XD.

@XxAngiexXRPI Yep. Look at all of the chapters and their hints/requirements in order to receive the stars and thus get the secret reports. Most require you to have the day prior's secret report so you'll probably have to start from week 1, day 1 and work your way up the ladder like I did. Just as long as you save the game, you won't lose your stars :>.
Honestly somacruzfirm and burstlimit16, WHO CARES WHAT SYSTEM IS BETTER! Both have their own unique attributes that make neither all that comparable! There's no point in arguing about something that ultimately won't change your opinion anyway. You prefer this, they prefer that, and that's how it will always be. Back to the topic, TWEWY was created SPECIFICALLY for the DS and its kin before there was a Vita and all that junk. Therefore, it will always be suited best for this system. THE END.

It's all pixelated and cube-based, and people give that game a lot of praise (because it is a good game, and note here that I'm not comparing anything). You have to realize that some games don't need all that flashy stuff to be fun. Don't get me wrong; a amazing graphical display of explosions during a fierce battle is okay with me, and most other people, but this game is great, and the graphics are pretty
@burstlimit16 The graphics aren't THAT bad. They are actually pretty good even for a DS game. Also, if it was on the PSP, the battle system wouldn't be nearly as fun or creative. You need to operate the touch screen AND the pad simultaneously to control Neku and his partner during battle. It simply wouldn't be as effective without it. TWEWY would be great on the 3DS though. It'd have gorgeous graphics without compromising gameplay.
I actual think that this game is better than Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. Not that I don't like those games it just this had more of a Persona feel to it.
@MultiPettan Well, the battle system was created specifically for the DS and its kin. It wouldn't translate properly on a PS3 due to the lack of a touch screen. I personally would hate for them to change it - it's too awesome to get rid of! What this needs to be on is a 3DS! You'll have gorgeous graphics along with the same battle style.
@huskyclaw To give you an estimate of the quality of this game, it's plot blows KH and ANY FF out of the water. The character development was very well thought out allowing one to properly empathize with them. The battle system is unique and insanely challenging. I can't sum up how much I adore this game. Trust me, it's WAY better than what this trailer portrays. I was turned off too but had already received it for my bday. You should watch the first couple days to see what you think!
@huskyclaw Your welcome! This game is underrated and needs a larger fanbase. I can't fathom why people flock to KH or FF and call them "gems of the gaming world" when they really aren't that great and ignore TWEWY (which was made by the same people) just because it doesn't have Sora or Cloud in it! The plot is PERFECT (which is actually quite rare for Square Enix to accomplish), the art is gorgeous, the gameplay is unique, and the soundtrack is awesome. TWEWY is a total gem. I hope you'll be able to find it in stores, though. I haven't seen a single copy since 2009!

I have this game on my ds at the end of the first week the head reaper said only one is getting a second chance back to life then it was shiki then beat joined the reapers and neku said to shiki he will be fine then he was going to play again to get a second chance in life im in 2nd Week Third Day
@MrRaikousen That's not the only dirty thing they've done. In the first 1000 or so copies of the manuals, there is a page explaining how to mingle. A picture example shows a mingler named "meat spin" with the comment "You want da meat or to spin *heart*". I was sooo shocked when I saw that! If you don't know what meat spin is, please don't look it up ESPECIALLY AT WORK OR WITH YOUR PARENTS IN THE SAME VICINITY. You will regret it DX
@Pyrofreak321 No it's NOTHING like FF or your typical anime. In fact, I consider it to be one of the best games out there. Trust me. I can't handle any anime or FF game because of the cheese, bad plot, ect.
TWEWY has a rich story line that focuses on the growth of the main character's (Neku) personality/maturity as he is forced to fight and survive through the Reaper's Game. That is about as much as I can give you w/o spoiling it.
Honestly, this trailer does a shitty job of advertising the game. It doesn't show the extent of the game's awesomeness. I got TWEWY for my birthday and watched this before I played it. I thought the game would be crappy but decided to play it anyway out of sheer politeness. This perception rotated a complete 180 degrees after an hour of gameplay. However, YOU WILL HATE NEKU IN THE BEGINNING! He's a total asshole but he'll change. Now play dammit!
@qXxDarkxXp Haha, in the beginning I admit he made me laugh out loud a lot but MAN he was such a piss bucket! His dour little mood got a bit on my nerves for the first three days of the game but after that passed over I began to like him. As awesome as Neku is, Joshua is my number one favorite :D

However, my FIRST impression (days 1 through 3) was simply based on what I saw because it wasn't like you started out playing whilst knowing everyone's background. At first he seemed to be a dick for no apparent reason. I mean yeah he didn't have any idea what was going on, but at least he could have been..polite or something about it. It was just a lack of understanding on my part.

I actual think that this game is better than Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. Not that I don't like those games it just this had more of a Persona feel to it.

@MultiPettan Well, the battle system was created specifically for the DS and its kin. It wouldn't translate properly on a PS3 due to the lack of a touch screen. I personally would hate for them to change it - it's too awesome to get rid of! What this needs to be on is a 3DS! You'll have gorgeous graphics along with the same battle style.

@huskyclaw To give you an estimate of the quality of this game, it's plot blows KH and ANY FF out of the water. The character development was very well thought out allowing one to properly empathize with them. The battle system is unique and insanely challenging. I can't sum up how much I adore this game. Trust me, it's WAY better than what this trailer portrays. I was turned off too but had already received it for my bday. You should watch the first couple days to see what you think!

@huskyclaw Your welcome! This game is underrated and needs a larger fanbase. I can't fathom why people flock to KH or FF and call them "gems of the gaming world" when they really aren't that great and ignore TWEWY (which was made by the same people) just because it doesn't have Sora or Cloud in it! I really do hope you enjoy it if you play it!

TWEWY shouldn't be too expensive now because it's an older DS game so you'll probably reach your goal relatively quickly XD Hopefully you'll be able to find it though! Good luck! The plot is PERFECT (which is actually quite rare for Square Enix to accomplish), the art is gorgeous, the gameplay is unique, and the soundtrack is awesome. TWEWY is a total gem. I hope you'll be able to find it in stores, though. I haven't seen a single copy since 2009!

I have this game on my ds at the end of the first week the head reaper said only one is getting a second chance back to life then it was shiki then beat joined the reapers and neku said to shiki he will be fine then he was going to play again to get a second chance in life im in 2nd Week Third Day

@MrRaikousen That's not the only dirty thing they've done. In the first 1000 or so copies of the manuals, there is a page explaining how to mingle. A picture example shows a mingler named "meat spin" with the comment "You want da meat or to spin *heart*". I was sooo shocked when I saw that! If you don't know what meat spin is, please don't look it up ESPECIALLY AT WORK OR WITH YOUR PARENTS IN THE SAME VICINITY. You will regret it DX

@Pyrofreak321 No it's NOTHING like FF or your typical anime. In fact, I consider it to be one of the best games out there. Trust me. I can't handle any anime or FF game because of the cheese, bad plot, ect.
TWEWY has a rich story line that focuses on the growth of the main character's (Neku) personality/maturity as he is forced to fight and survive through the Reaper's Game. That is about as much as I can give you w/o spoiling it.

Honestly, this trailer does a shitty job of advertising the game. It doesn't show the extent of the game's awesomeness. I got TWEWY for my birthday and watched this before I played it. I thought the game would be crappy but decided to play it anyway out of sheer politeness. This perception rotated a complete 180 degrees after an hour of gameplay. However, YOU WILL HATE NEKU IN THE BEGINNING! He's a total asshole but he'll change. Now play dammit!

@qXxDarkxXp Haha, in the beginning I admit he made me laugh out loud a lot but MAN he was such a piss bucket! His dour little mood got a bit on my nerves for the first three days of the game but after that passed over I began to like him. As awesome as Neku is, Joshua is my number one favorite :D

However, my FIRST impression (days 1 through 3) was simply based on what I saw because it wasn't like you started out playing whilst knowing everyone's background. At first he seemed to be a dick for no apparent reason. I mean yeah he didn't have any idea what was going on, but at least he could have been..polite or something about it. It was just a lack of understanding on my part.

But, we must remember that Rhyme was actually in the same predicament (spoiler spoiler). She was just social and wise enough to cover up her own bewilderment with smiles and adages.
