what i love about this game is that some of the (familiar) capcom characters had new designs. Ryu, ken, bison, evil ryu, akuma and shin akuma had all new character designs (in terms of graphics of course) but lots of other characters were just plain copy-paste from alpha 3. Vega,blanka,balrog,sakura,role­nto etc. I would have loved to see new designs for every character.

@poo3999 Dude he means the time is gay in that you have 33 seconds per character to fight (which is very little). Time-outs are pretty common in this game.

believe it or not but I meant 99 seconds -_-... it's just that half of the time you have to zone the character perfectly (since you're playing A-groove, and A-groove can guard-cancel your jump-ins and punish them). Cautious+allot of damage on super = very long fight

@dss103 i agree on the fact capcom should be a making cvs 3 but in 3D? hell no, thats one of the reasons why mvc 3 isn't recieved very well in the fighting game community, some things shouldn't be changed and this is one of them.

And correct me if im wrong but the first thing people look at is the graphics first and then gameplay because if the graphics don't hold your attention then the gameplay wont either no matter how good the gameplay is just look at nba2k games on the 360 vs the wii an compare the sales

@YrUlUKkiNAtM34 That's not how the fighting game genre has EVER worked. A fighter is only as interesting as the deph and engine appeal. Without proper amount of both those things no one cares. Graphics in fighters have ALWAYS been irrelevant.

Not all KOF are bad. Kof98 is considered one of the best fighters. It's not better than super turbo, but still is good. Personally I enjoyed MOW. Kof XII fell short hardcore.

it means that if they keep blocking their guard will eventually break and they'll be open for attack

Jwong is using haomaru and combofiend is using eagle. Theres a lot of room at the top tier depending on the groove's you choose.

Especially compared to the... 4-5? team combinations you can have tourney viable in MvC2.

Only a handful of people played this though. This is a great game, but too unbalance if you ask me. I know that Sf4 has it's top tier characters, but overall it's still a decently balanced game.

On cvs2 the top tier characters have a huge and clear advantage over the low tier ones which is pretty sad. Not to mention Roll Canceling broke this game even more.
