The engine does get pretty hot, but I haven't had a problem with that.

Also, I only used this engine for about 200 miles, should last cuz it's a 2 stroke. As long as u use the coerce ratio

You are only getting 50 MPG because you have a half gallon tank, not a Gallon tank.

the chain you can get at a mower shop is much better quality and ther hevy duty ment to last a long time and ther a

littel wider and this lets it have a bit if travle mine is much quieter and smooooother and the steel is stronger i went threw 4 of the stock

kit chains all junk dont waste your money buy the kit and throw our the kit chain on the spot . ps it ma be a lil biger but not by much

i also recomend modifing you muffler

once again go to your mower shop and get a small mower mufler off a briggs engine the kind you thred in looks like a small tube cut off the stock pipe bafel tube just at the to and grinde off the threds on the mower mufler insert into you pipe and weld it what you get is bettter mpg and a bit more power and much better sound i dont have a camara or id make a video of it john from ca

as all I did was there is a little screw on the side so I removed that. then I twisted it with some pliers and she pulled right out. and when it comes out you will see why you get that much more power. the baffle you pull out limits the air flow so much its probly not even googd for the engine especially at high speeds.

The bits hangs up and break a lot so it best to tighten the chuck just enough to allow the bit to slip in the chuck when it hangs up. Don't hurry.

If possible weld a nut or flat washer on a broken stud. You can spin a flat washer with a chisel. If that don't work drill it out and re-tap the hole with the next larger size. Punch center, start with small drills and use plenty of oil, don't use maximum drill speed cause if the bit gets hot it's ruined. Cheap drill bits will dull before you can finish. Easy outs break off and create an impossible situation cause you can't drill them out. It usually takes me 3 drill sizes.

i have the exact same engine as you. do you mix it 20:1? thats what i do and i put a boost bottle on it which does help alot but the best thing you can do is drill a 1/4" hole on the bottom of the exhaust on the baffle and it will be alot faster!

I'm sorry to hear your having trouble. I've had lots of fun with these kits. The trick is to learn how they work and not get frustrated. These kits are ok, it just takes some time to get them set up. I've had mine for about three years now and I love it.

no, nothing to weld, everything mounts with bolts and clamps. for me the hardest part was making sure the rear sprocket was straight so that the wouldnt skip.

yes this does really good uphill and i'm at about 150lbs. i've been working on how to get the broken studs out so i can put the motor back in the bike and record with me riding it, should be done sometime this week.

it was 159.90 and like i said, the seller was good, he sent me a replacement clutch lever for free. after the 4th tank i got about 60mpgs, or 30 miles per tank.
