put a 5cm thick phone book for example into the wall, the punch it every day. It doesn't need to hurt (much), you'll see that in a month you'll be striking it much harder then in the beginning. Same with fingertips.
I don't know if it makes knuckles bigger, I got my right hand knuckles much bibber and more round because of the countless hairline fractures, but there's no point in there because if you get fractures, they're really sore and you can't punch in a long time (week or two)
Do you teach drunken style as well ?? (I mean to get all these caps, you have to drink...) I hope I can convince my master of this kind of training !! :-)
Ok so is the point here to intimidate your opponent? Honestly if I saw someone bending a snapple cap it would not make me scared! If it's for some kind of strength training then i'm sure there's better options.

that's easy, punching. punch punch punch a lot. And heal, is important to let the knuckles heal a little before start punching again.
