This workout is great.. I feel more energetic and more feminine.I do it daily.. fat burning and besic moves. I am 30 and after 6 months of the workout now even my menstrual cycle been normal and regular.. its great ...ladies go for it.

All you need to do is eat 5 times a day. 3 small proportion meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then in between healthy snacks like fruits, veggies, or cereal bars etc. That'll eventually end up establishing a faster metabolism so your body won't store as much fat. Also, soda's are a huge no no, by cutting off soda alone I lost about 10 pounds within a few weeks. And of course, the daily exercise or workout like this video and/or some cardio :D
Avoid eating salty foods. If your diet is too much salts, it tend to hold water that you just drink because your body acts like a sponge. Avoid animal fats, if you eat chicken though try take off the skin. Eat a lots of vegetables and only eat if your hungry - Never eat just because you're depressed or bored instead try this belly dance. You will be much happier and proud of yourself!

I just made it through this workout, and I'm not sure. My legs and arms feel like jelly, but they don't need the work- my stomach does. I have a pretty much fit body except my stomach, which after a very difficult pregnancy and c-section, I can't seem to lose. I've tried everything, and thought this might be the trick. But I don't feel any burn there, and I kept it sucked in all the way through. Am I too fat around the tummy to move my hips like that? Do you have to be skinny?
@jonahkessler no u dont. its just that this is 4 the beginners cuz it shows the basics. if u r trying 2 lose w8 (like me lol) then watch their other series of videos inside. its on the rite panel its called ARABIC BELLY DANCE FAT BURNING. that makes u sweat like hell i know! lol
try watching that instead once u've got the basics down from these ones
@jonahkessler I have had 3 c-sections and it took me about 3 or 4 weeks before I finally "found" my stomach muscles. They ended up being pretty sore for a couple weeks. Just drink plenty of water and don't give up! :)

the hip movements really help me out. I do martial arts and we are getting into the roundhouse, side thrust, and heel kick. So this is helping me workout my hips for that movement
either my hips are to big, or too bony. hahaha Ihad a hard time iwth the leg extensions, and Im surprised by how much flexibility I have lost over the years!
I'm fat but found this workout to be pretty easy. Not too hard or too easy, a good follow up to the cardio workout that you have.
I used to do Kung Fu and was in great shape but then I stopped and gained a lot of weight and got out of shape. Thanks for putting these up as they are helping me get back in shape so I can go back to Kung Fu!
0:08 I bearly made it thru thoses I had to stop for a second and sit on the floor! so hard...anyway this is fun :D I'm not fat but I want a better toned body thats heathy'er XDty ty sooo much!!!! btw the streches are amazing! I'm double-jointed so most streches dont work as well as I need them to, but these hit all the right muscles, Plus If I use them with my old streches, I can target most of my muscles!
I'm trying this at home every day as training since I practise bellydance with a teacher once a week. This helps a lot, and I guess this reshape the body if you do constantly. Thanks a lot!

Well, actually I think these are a good bunch of excercises that help you to train, stretch and warm up. There are some simple warm-up ex. but also pure belly dance moves (slides, shoulders etc.), so, to me, it's useful to repeat what I tried at lesson..
actually the teacher prefers as training breathing excercises combined with moves, so it's someway different and more specific..(we practise tribal style so there are different moves..)

i have learnt a dance form for 15 years and i think these girls are damn good. They are showing quite hard skills very simply and easily. They are following a 'school' or pattern..of dance form which has been generations old. When you work-out using something like that it is tested by times and it is surely going to help. It can never harm body of a normal healthy person..and even if you leave you wont tend to re-gain weight, that is the best part!

@misslilo86 I think there's one called the sensual art of bellydance, but I might be wrong, just look up Veena and Neena DVDs and you should be able to buy some on amazon. :)
I actually own the DVD for this- it has this and fat burning. Me and my friend tried out these exercises and we were both sooo exhausted when this was over, and we were feeling it in our calves. Now, every time I even walk its like my calves are saying, "Uhmmm...excuse me....wtf are you doing!?"

omg my problem is my stomach area im a couch potato and want to get rid of it. the gym doesn't motivate melike this did, i did all four in a row, put on a shimmy belt and went for it. Thanks girls' great instruction, music, and set up. i plan to do this the next time in an outfit so i can get in the zone... thank thank you ..

If you wanna lose weight faster:
--eat healthy (No sodas like Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, or Coca Cola; No candies; no ice cream; Stick to fruits, veggies, and lean meats.)
--Drink plenty of water, tea (That is pretty good for you as long as you don't put in a crap ton of sugar) and milk
--workout every day
--do other work outs (Lift some weights, go for a jog, do some jumprope)
--get outside (go to the park, play laser tag, play volleyball, have fun)
--get a good night sleep every night

the hip movements really help me out. I do martial arts and we are getting into the roundhouse, side thrust, and heel kick. So this is helping me workout my hips for that movement

either my hips are to big, or too bony. hahaha Ihad a hard time iwth the leg extensions, and Im surprised by how much flexibility I have lost over the years!

I'm fat but found this workout to be pretty easy. Not too hard or too easy, a good follow up to the cardio workout that you have.
I used to do Kung Fu and was in great shape but then I stopped and gained a lot of weight and got out of shape. Thanks for putting these up as they are helping me get back in shape so I can go back to Kung Fu!

0:08 I bearly made it thru thoses I had to stop for a second and sit on the floor! so hard...anyway this is fun :D I'm not fat but I want a better toned body thats heathy'er XDty ty sooo much!!!! btw the streches are amazing! I'm double-jointed so most streches dont work as well as I need them to, but these hit all the right muscles, Plus If I use them with my old streches, I can target most of my muscles!

I'm trying this at home every day as training since I practise bellydance with a teacher once a week. This helps a lot, and I guess this reshape the body if you do constantly. Thanks a lot!

Well, actually I think these are a good bunch of excercises that help you to train, stretch and warm up. There are some simple warm-up ex. but also pure belly dance moves (slides, shoulders etc.), so, to me, it's useful to repeat what I tried at lesson..
actually the teacher prefers as training breathing excercises combined with moves, so it's someway different and more specific..(we practise tribal style so there are different moves..)

i have learnt a dance form for 15 years and i think these girls are damn good. They are showing quite hard skills very simply and easily. They are following a 'school' or pattern..of dance form which has been generations old. When you work-out using something like that it is tested by times and it is surely going to help. It can never harm body of a normal healthy person..and even if you leave you wont tend to re-gain weight, that is the best part!

I actually own the DVD for this- it has this and fat burning. Me and my friend tried out these exercises and we were both sooo exhausted when this was over, and we were feeling it in our calves. Now, every time I even walk its like my calves are saying, "Uhmmm...excuse me....wtf are you doing!?"
You guys, if you got this far into the dance and survived-WITHOUT cheating- all I have to say is, well done you guys, way to go! :D

LOL I actually stopped for awhile when I shouldn't have, now I gotta really work on this!! And I'm actually gonna introduce my cousin to this workout, we're gonna be so hot together! :D

i wanted to practice belly dancing but my parents said there wasn't any money for it. [ though there always seems to be money for things they want and vacations, but it's their money and they can spend it however they please. ] anyway, i appreciate these vids very much and will check in with results :)

I started this and got side tracked by choreography I want to belly dance for something my schools doing hope fully theyll allow it any way I did like it and hopefully I wont get side tracked any more its great I use to love and always will love belly dancing

this training session was awesome, I like that it's very feminine, and yet very difficult. I consider myself in good shape, but after doing these 4 I was quite glad it was over (only to do it again in the evening). What a great way to stretch your body and even soften my moves. omg my problem is my stomach area im a couch potato and want to get rid of it. the gym doesn't motivate melike this did, i did all four in a row, put on a shimmy belt and went for it. Thanks girls' great instruction, music, and set up. i plan to do this the next time in an outfit so i can get in the zone... thank thank you ..
