John Deere farm tractors are great and will last a life time. However, never buy a john deere mower from any box store like home deport or lowes. They are junk and will only last a couple of years. This junk with the john deere name on it is built by MTD mowers, not John Deere

My father is german but we are french and I'm convinced that John Deere is the best agricultural equipment manufacturer worldwide... Fendt is just the third behind John Deere (the first) and Case IH (the second)...

No I am not German, but Fendt are the best quality, the best assembly quality, the best reliability. And overall it's the best tool for the job, the transmission is outstanding, the cab is outstanding quiet. But yes it's more costly, but so it is, you get what you pay for.

I dont agree you but I think it's a question of "taste" I've worked with different Fendt Vario as the 939, a quite excellent machine but I have also used John Deere 8345 and I've to say that John Deere is far better, more comfortable, more power and over all more flexibility...

Alright we all have our favorite, and I am not saying that I could not use a John Deere. Most marks are useable, as long you stay away from Fiat.

@kennjohnsen Oh gosh, FIAT... In french we traduce this acronym by "Ferraille Invendable A Turin" wich means "Unsaleable scrap in Turin". But the problem is now Case IH is incorporated to New Holland and the Case combines are powered by Cummins but with Fiat powertrain ... shame!!
