.....It all depends on how you look at a child in the nude, if you look at her/him as a sex object, and then it's wrong, if you look at her/him as a work of art, its right. After all, we see children running around nude on summer beaches, 4 yr, 8yr etc in some countries, just the other day, an 8 yr old girl walking around nude with parents at a sand sculpture show. Part 2…In Far-East Asia the parents were Westerners, the Asian people were surprised. Some cultures are closed, some not, i think its part of being human to be nude. The human body is nice to look at, but not out of complete shape or very old, this should be covered i think.

The Aussies seem more prudish and intolerant and self-righteous than the Yanks, and that's saying something. A naked child is not child abuse. Forcing a child to wear clothes and so making them hate their body is wrong. And there's no risk that someone will look at a picture and "develop" malevolent intentions - an innocent person doesn't become a molester cus he/she saw a naked child, a molester doesn't stop being a molester cus he/she didn't.And the people saying bad things are hurting the kid

For you people who like to jump to conclusions and kick up a huge fuss, I know this family quite well, and in all honestly, I wish more families would mimic the family values in the Nelson family, because it's rare to meet such tight, loving family. If you don't know a person or a family that is exploited by the media, then you have no basis to judge.

Except the picture was taken -- and exhibited -- by her mother, a noted photographer.  NOT a "stranger" as you suggest. This is obviously an "out there" family . . . nothing wrong with that, there needs to be a leading edge somewhere!

i am against child porn but there is a differnce between nudity photos and porn . Showing and some kids playing naked with a sprinkler is not porn .
