Acrobatics is my favourite travel power in CO. You can both run fast and jump high with it. It doesn't go as fast as Superspeed or as high as Superjump, but that's a good thing I think, because that makes Acrobatics a lot easier to control! ;)

Haha god, couldn't they have just limited this to simple flips, rather than gainer fulltwists from the sidewalk to rooftops? It looks completely fake, and not in a good way. The front flip animation is cool. Is it possible to not run like Sonic the Hedgehog/Dragonball Z characters with your arms out behind you?

the only time i'd choose this power is if they added wall jumps to it, they realy should add wall jumps too it then it will be comparable to the other travel forms, they should also put wall running on super speed so its not limited to the ground.

yup. bullet ballet and lead tempest in the munitions class are both gun kata moves.

the flip at 0:21 is just the backwards flip. i think turning the camera rapidly caused it to appear to be a different flip.

There actually is no front animation for an -actual- moving-forward flip, which lots of Acrobatics users complain about. This person is using both the stationary and back-moving flips.

The stationary one is quite easy to pull off while moving, since this game's physics work well with momentum. Just pick up speed and briefly release forward, hitting space right after, then resume pressing forward. This will cause your character to reach into the air, and flip forward at the peak of the jump.

The stop sign was a nice touch. When you ran into that group and started building energy I coulda swore you were about to pop Mini Mines XD

I agree, although it's nice to see that type of power finally be useful. I hope that, when the nerf comes, it'll still be useful. Maybe the same damage with a longer cooldown, or something to that effect.

Anyway, cross your fingers, wall-jumping is getting to be quite popular around the boards. We can at least hope that's programmable for Acro- at some point.

ranks just increase speed and jump height. to do a front flip, press spacebar without holding down forward. you can start moving forward again after you jump so you don't lose any speed.

yeah you do. it's recommended you reach 12 first before going to MC for quests but you can go any time after you get out of crisis by taking the jet.
