  • The saxaphone break could have been more mellow, but otherwise

    doowop rocking out!!

  • Sound so nice. Play it twice!!

  • Makes me want to gather some guys together and sing on the street corner.

  • @phunkyjunction How often do they come after you for copyright infringements, I hope you don't mind that I ask.

  • Party For Two was the Cadillacs and not released until the 90`s. WPGR 1540 in Philly used to play it extensively.

  • Love the group harmony and that wailing sax break!

  • HEY PHUNKY, WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE "PARTY FOR TWO"?ONE OF MY LATER FAVORITES. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE FUN. TOM D BRICK,NJ

  • Doesnt sound like Shep..or even has that Haertbeat sound,,curious,,Dz from the Bean

  • GREAT!!

  • Yes, Wally Roker formerly of The Heatbeats is the cousin of Al Roker on NBC. They are from Queens. As of 2010 Wally still performs on doo-wop shows, mostly back east...but he's still in Los Angeles with his family.

  • Man what a great song. The bass singer Wally Roker on the far left is still in the record business and living in Los Angeles. "Wedding Bells" Now that's flashing back pretty.

  • @Spiderizer Is Wally Roker related to Roxie Roker or Al Roker? Quite a few blacks in Queens have these Dutch names so there might be a connection.

  • Great tune - Do you have "I won't be the fool anymore"?

  • Good one!

  • NIce to hear this again (I have it on Rama). Thanks very much for posting.
