One thing I would like to figure out. This game shows the origin of the Legend of Zelda, of Zelda who is a Goddess in mortal form, and Ganon, who originally thanks his creation by Demise's hatred. However, it does not show the origin of Link. It says Link is one with the spirit of the Hero, but it speaks of a Hero of that spirit that existed long before this game.

So, will Miyamoto ever create a game just for Link, without Zelda and Ganon/Demise?

@RoyalStrings I think it just means the Heroic Spirit, the kind of 'essence' that continually reincarnates in the same fashion of Demise's hatred. A recurring theme has been that all Link's share a sense of reckless courage and righteousness. Every time the mortal dies, this Heroic Spirit is transferred to the next person and the cycle continues.

after link beats him, his hatred is reborn as ganon/ ganondorf, hundreds of years later after link and him screw up the timestream with their antics, the timeline diverts, one for the world of young and adult link each, wind waker, PH, and spirit tracks for adult link and majora and twlight princess for young link, both continuing the cycle of rebirth and conflict with a incarnation of demise's hate. four swords and minish cap are however part of a parallel universe not related to the main story

I find it interesting that There was no sealing spike on the Imprisoned in the past, but Demise still has a scar on his forehead, I immediately thought of windwaker's ganon death.

Maybe this was a nod towards the future of the series in Windwaker.

Demise is pretty much the first known incarnation of Ganon, not Ganon himself, but an incarnation of him... and there are multiple generations of Link and Zelda and not just one, and at the end when Zelda wants to live under the clouds, thats the creation of Hyrule...? Demise explains this at his defeat. He will continue to manifest in the world, and Link and Zelda are cursed to be reborn, so that they may fight him again.

Demise isn't Ganon but wow, what a presence. Just beat the game, tonight, and I was so overwhelmed. I immediately downloaded Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask to the Wii, planning to re-buy Twilight Princess. You can't get goosebumps like this from Call of Duty or Skyrim. The Legend of Zelda is a mythology. And this game really shows how the alternative universes, time-lines, entities create a wonderful/powerful remarkable series like TLOZ. <3 Right from the opening cinematic to the demise battle.

Demise is the original incarnation, thus leading to the belief that he is supposedly stronger, but it was only during the times that he was re-incarnated as Ganon where he actually managed to get a piece of the Triforce. Though in my opinion, Demise looks more badass.

Zelda is frozen in the beginning of the game, because she was frozen in the past, that meant that Time travel works in a loop in the Zelda Universe. So if Link defeats Demise in the past, he shouldn't have been there from the start. Also, once Demise is revived in the past, Link can just go straight through the Gate of Time & nothing is any different. There are alot of contradictions in the story but I guess you can never make time travel make sense cause it's impossible to change the past.

This kinda reminds me of the Resurrection of Lord Voldemort in Goblet of Fire, only it's about Over9,000x more badass. I also thought it would have been awesome if Sauron would have regained his physical form at some point in Lord of the Rings. I can always count on Zelda to make shit hit the fan.

Every word out of Demise's mouth is so epic. he might not have been that hard but his music, the setting and the finishing move you use on him were amazing! Plus the fact that he seemed to have a warriors honor and acknowledged Link's skill before and after the fight also made him an amazing final boss.

I love that there seemed to be some respect between Link and Demise is this game regardless if they were on polar opposites of the sides of good and evil. They both saw each other as worthy warriors; you can tell when Link nods his head at Demise to agree to a final battle. Really sets the tone to how Link and Ganondorf's battle would eventually play out.

@alucard6770 Completely agree. It seems that Demise has a warrior's martial pride and honor - agreeing to let Link have a few minutes to prepare himself. He wants to face the Hero when he's at his strongest, and in a place where they can duel one on one, uninterrupted.

He also (genuinely) compliments the Hero's fighting skill and bravery; stating at the end of their duel.
