  • Sad that these combos are more like show-offs. Everybody can beat a guy who walks forward. And I want to see if someone can do that last juggle on ME in a real Tekken-fight. Just forget about it.

  • The last combo isn't that hard to do actually, since it only uses one flapping butterfly. When the other person has got you into rage mode, they usually won't try as hard as they were when you weren't in rage mode, which means they'll make mistakes. B+4 can easily be used as a counter during this, which means you'll start the last combo. Only problem is getting the positions right on the map, but you can change the combo a bit so you'll juggle the other person to the wall, if on a small map.

  • try playing against nin or any good player who's considered a tier one player. I guarantee you their skill is not only their ground game. They don't go for launchers so they can do some juggles, but once if they do manage to lift their opponent, they make sure that atleast 70 to 80% of their life bar ends in the process. Using about the same combos that you saw here.

  • Not just broken, but ANNOYING. It reminds me of Julia's f,f+1, I used to watch people spam that in juggles in T5DR all the time.

  • combo vids make it look all so easy. circumstances like position and alignment will make a world of difference, these are all "perfect conditions" scenarios. lookinf forward to tekken6!-TAG!!!

  • not really... the players in combo videos are skilled, only some of them have "perfect conditions". it's not as if the floor broke and allowed a combo reset, or a penny fell from the sky just in time to allow nina to continue her combo. but of course you would think people who do these vids spend hours of days and weeks doing the same combos trying to get the "perfect cirumstances" right? it's not "circumstance" it's called skill.

  • im not saying there is not an incredible amount of skill and precise timing involved (hallmarks of good players/ advanced games) based on years and years of experience, what i said is still true. alignment, resets, mid air flip overs and range, wall impact type, damage penalties are great tailoring factors in the combo you perform.

  • obviously those do factor into combos, but what you said still isn't true. because they are not all "perfect conditions" scenarios. some combos are like that, for instance CvSNK2 rolento throws knives up and you start a combo on him, the knives hit you in the middle of a certain hit, then you can start another combo and such. tekken's fighting is linear, so the issue of alignment/position aren't factors, and if they were, the player can adjust for it.

  • ...oh yea and character size makes a difference too :-) and not to mention possible floor breaks, and crushes. to align yourself in tekken you must advance-step or do a move that has built in tracking Kaz's U+4444, for example..so its still not linear. and theres no air control by the victim like Soul Cal, so what exactly are you talking about when it comes to "adjusting?"?

  • do you know what linear means? as for adjusting, i wasn't talking about the victim moving, i was referring to the player doing the combo to either move a necessary way to continue the combo, or use an appropriate attack. for instance that hit that nina did 7 times in a row, obviously the player knows he/she could use it 7 times and no more right? so if the distance was further and he could only do it 4 times, he would instead continue the combo, that's what's called adjusting.

  • no. im right, notice how the other player walks into the first hit, with counter hits on. at the edge of the stage? and is making no attempt to fight. no sidesteps, large characters. prior to combo start? and nobody was talking about CvS2 (another fantastic game btw). watch counterhits out of sidesteps, your alignment, float and hit wall hit type ALL determine possible combo follow ups. u need to play more tekken. CVS2 by design is linear (2D) tekken by design is not. u need 2 play more tekken.

    sure one combo might only be possible if the enemy is crouching when you start it, does that mean that's "perfect conditions" with alignment and all that? no, just one condition. yes the game mechanics are intricate, but once you know the system, you can do this. you make it seem as if it's random.

    perhaps you need more logic.

    btw, i know nobody was talking about CvS2, but you were speaking rather broadly and could have included other fighting games, plus those rolento combos are perfect examples of combos that would never (and i mean never) happen due to "perfect conditions". these combos only have a few conditions, and once the combo has started it's in the players hands, rather than off to chance or such like alot of other games

  • Oh believe me everything in the vid is beyond difficult. At least the multiple ws+1 juggles.

    The difficulty level and timing is insane.

    To make one ws+1 come from standing you have to do d,d/f,f,u/f+1 as fast as you can and you can't even buffer the inputs.

  • well there's a new combo formulated by the japanese players which involve the ws+1 move 4 times, so you could see it, but it's a bit hard to do. maybe it's done with qcf+1, a variant for the ws+1. look for a video where nina takes on heihachi and you'll see the player do the combo i mentioned. if you can't find it, look for the new combos video. most of these videos are from (but not made by) the user: jinandkazama

  • it is not infinite. it can only be done a mximum of 7 times.. watch it again in the first time he did it on :10 onwards,, right after the sevent ws+1 the gap increased so much, too much for another ws+1 to reach that why he had to follow with 2+4 that has a longer reach than ws+1 and of course you guys already know 2+4 causes bounce so that he can extend the combo

    People shud notice that u can see at the bottom screen there is like "20 wins" which emphasises that these stuff - tho possible is generally not practical in matches

  • well cuz of nina having that kinda low damage, as i can see in tekken 5 the FPS of her punch can reach to far meaning can make a punch juggle upto middle until the wall, here in tekken 6 ,they just made a new attack for nina the one that is spammed, well you can see that the damage was not to high so... nothing to worry about

  • That move that is being repeated (at 00:10 - 00:15, for example) definitely needs to be fixed! It's just ridiculous! In an infinite stage, Nina Williams could just launch her opponent and keep performing that move afterwards until her opponent is defeated, or so it seems. In a stage with walls, Nina can carry her opponent to the wall just by launching her opponent and repeatedly using this move afterwards.

  • The move you are talking about is iws+1 (done by qcf+n+1). It does lead to a very long carry in juggles, but it is NOT an infinite. She can only get up to 7 of them just like Julia can get 7 elbows in her juggles. Plus doing multiple ws+1 in a juggle is extremely hard and you will never see it in a real match unless a robot is playing nina!

  • haha it rarely will be used in real matches ive watched about 400 or so matches and have yet 2 see a full bar combo or even 85% bar combo.. i doubt juggle wise things will be that much different from t5:dr

  • Lol, you talking of honor in a game where a tournament is won by using 2 attacks ? (seen how in T5 someone chose a char, did a high kick combo or low kicks combo and that's how he beat others who prepared for a year or more)
