  • It can actually be more scary out in the country. There is a lot of woodland and places for a killer to run off to. Especially if the killer is not a member of the area.

  • This is why being in the city near people is actually better. If you're going to go out to the country like that, have a great security system installed. And a gun. In fact, have both no matter where you are. There are truly sick and demented people out there. Protect yourself and your loved ones from them as best you can.

  • Im much safer in the city then an isolated place like this in the middle of the woods...just knowing that someone can kill you and bury u anywhere in the woods and never find u again frightens me

  • @littlebabygiggles08 IKR? How dare a woman have adult relations with a consenting partner- that's just asking to be murdered!

    /sarcasm

You know who's responsible for murder? The murderer. Whether a woman is *gasp!* sexually active or not has absolutely nothing to do with someone deciding to brutally murder people. You probably think rape victims are "asking for it" too.

To reiterate; The person responsible for the crime is the perpetrator, NOT the victim.

  • @skramamme dont let the perpetrator in , like my grand mothjer used to say you let evil in your home and the devil will take over it she did evil things like drugs and men in her home with her children (EVIL) thats why shes dead if it was a serial killing i would think there be more victims but there isnt. be good stay in your home and shit like this wont happen to you . and i have a great big feeling that this happened because of the mother . btw i bet youre like her so am blocking u bye!

  • @littlebabygiggles08 LOL, are you out of your mind?

Of course we need to be cautious and observant but that still doesn't make the VICTIM responsible for the actions of the perpetrator.

TBH I feel sorry for you that you are so full of fear and misdirected anger that you would lash out at the victims instead of holding the criminals responsible for their crimes.

  • @skramamme wtf? anger? fearful? lol please you are not allowed to even reply to me you seem too stupid to understand what am saying so instead of wasting my time explaining in short understandable words to stupid ( you, in case that was too hard for you to understand) am telling you am not giving you permission to replay to me until you get some education so you can read and think for a chance . What a reject so stupid

  • @littlebabygiggles08 "LOL" no, it was because the first comment I made had a grammatical error and I deleted it. If comments were censored based on the intelligence and validity of them, yours would never show up.

  • @littlebabygiggles08 ALL CAPS RAAAAAAGE!!! If you have a problem with the replies you receive on your comments, then don't post them, especially when they're on a subject as touchy as this.

  • this is so sad :( people are the ones that ruin the world RIP</3

  • The 2 older women that were speaking so horrible about Sue through word of mouth, just proves that statement I heard when I was a child about small towns. Small Towns, small minded people.

  • They also love to be part of the ones that are unsolved,IF THEY ARE WATCHED PUBLICLY,cause then they get to write a book about it! The ppl that are closely involved are no different!! They get on these films, and say I can talk much about it,cause im writing a book! That alone proves they are in it for the money, and fame!! The reality is we're all lost, and have NO idea why we're here, and everything is so unimportant! Who cares if any murders are solved. Its all about entertainment for TV LOSERS!!

  • and not get caught. The problem with serial killers,is they always get caught with the weapons in the car,and then the police try and make it look like they solved the crime, but they just happened to get lucky, cause the fool is driving around at night with evidence in the vehicle! Their are sooo many unsolved murders that you dont hear about, cause the police failed and dont want you to know it!! They love to parade the solved ones, cause theirs money, and fame in it!!

  • I love all the theories, and how everyone is a detective!! The truth is no one knows what happened that night, not even the police!! Someone got away with murder, and the mother was probably the target, but who knows!!?? The other thing is all you have to do is turn on the morning news, and you'll see 3 or 4 murders from the night before! Just cause it was a small White town doesnt make a difference in the least! Sadistic ppl get away with murder all the time! It would be so easy to murder someone,

  • There could be the possibility that the murder was staged and the killer or killers quietly kidnapped them, maybe held them at gun point, killed them close by, and placed the bodies back in the cabin. Maybe they even beat and stabbed the bodies when they were back in the cabin to make create all the blood spatters or maybe they weren't completely dead when they placed the bodies back in the cabin. That would sort of explain why no one heard anything. I could be pretty wrong, though.

  • I still can't get over it that some people don't lock their doors when they go to bed, i mean it's just asking to be a victim.

  • What a crazy world we live in.

  • It is so ignorant to say that "it should have happened in the city". It shouldn't happen any where. And why is everyone so suddenly naive about this sort of thing. Crimes of this magnitude have occurred since the beginning of time. Folks in the 1990s were quite aware of this. Why are people so "shocked". This is terrible, but no deserves to die even if they aren't blonde or blue eyed. Strange commentary indeed.

  • @GenX4ever80s I lived in Chicago for 30 years, and now I live in North Carolina, in the country, in an area where many people leave doors unlocked. The funny thing is, is that I actually felt SAFER in my old neighborhood, even though there were many gangs. Nobody ever bothered me, and I never bothered anyone else. The chance of someone breaking into my appartment *there* was so slim, just because it would be too conspicuous. Here, it's dark and wooded. It would be EASY for a home intruder.

  • @dslgunner1977 I feel the same way... Living in a city, I feel safer

  • its scary this can happen to anyone i dont ever feel like im fully safe because of stuff like this

  • @sexychula19 And we shouldn't. Just lock the door and arm yourself. This is getting worse ALL over and it really doesn't matter who you are. Crime is crime. We really should not be so naive like this. Just lock the doors. Criminals of ALL types count on this naivete. They really do. You just can't live like this any more. This is the real world and folks had better get with the reality and knock it off with this "should only happen in the city" junk. Its ignorant and childish.

  • @GenX4ever80s oh, but im not gonna completely close myself off to the world im not scared that much..lol but you do make a very interesting point

  • @sexychula19 That's why we have guns... And knives...

  • does anyone remember this?!!!

  • It makes me mad that the neighbor can stand there and talk about how the Mom was on welfare and drugs, blah blah and nothing about how she tried to raise her kids and how much of a BETTER person she was than the deceased. She SHOULD have been looked at...what a bitch!

  • @linzz626 Well said! I've always thought the same thing about Zonida. petty, bitchy things to say about a dead woman who did the best with what she had to try and take care of her kids.

  • @BeBitched86 I have a theory that all these snooty, stuck-up women in this video, who were slandering Sue and questioning her mothering skills, were DEEPLY jelous of her because she was much prettier than them. These women's husbands were probably all giving Sue the eye, and Sue probably had alot of men attracted to her and that is why these women feel the need to put her down (she's dead! Leave her alone). These women are nothing but fat, dumpy, jelous hags.

  • @dslgunner1977 It was probably ONE of them or ALL of them who did this. Come on folks. This is not new! How many women are in prison today for this type of crime! Connect the dots folks. It is as if NO one wants to believe that NO one in their midst is suspect. They should ALL be SUSPECT. This is ridiculous!

  • the really sad thing is, Dan Doris, the group home owner of where Dana was living had told Dana when he went out with Johnny that he wouldnt be doing a sleepover. Dana called Mr. Doris later that day and pleaded to do the sleepover and Dan gave in. There was plenty of evidence for conviction. Plumas County Sheriff motives puzzeling.

  • he says its "gods country"...perhaps god took the day off that day :/ All small towns harbor there dirty secrets...dont ever think they dont. to bad the killer walks free to do this again

  • okay... things I wanna do to be safe..... strong doors, strong shatter proof windows, alarms, video surveilance, guard dogs, guns, knives, machetes, cellphone.

  • damn judgmental people (neighbors my ASS), I am sure they ALL thought, ***it was her fault**, they already condemned her from the beginning, bad mother, drug addict (she had no drugs in her system) etc..... no wonder everybody said that they don't herd anything, I bet they did herd the screaming, but judgmentally thought she was partying, why bother theck on her

  • @TheZoizi I agree, that woman MUST have heard something, what a jerk. She didn;t have drugs in her system. I bet that put another crack in her butt.

  • @TheZoizi

Yea, that lady was a snooty bitch. The way she said "Everyone knew they were on welfare" and "She was the *type* that had alot of men friends." So basically, thats just a polite way of calling her a prostitute.

I can't stand judgemental people like that lady...maybe if she actually took the time to get to know Sue, when she was still alive, instead of just making assumtions, or going by hear-say, she might have found out what kind of person Sue really was.

  • @dslgunner1977 exactly.................always looking at the outside of people...............she was with her kids, she didn't abandonned them, she wasmaking the best of her life , being a single mother...................me too I would of tried to know other guys.........everybody does that.

  • @dslgunner1977 Yes, these are the kind of neighbors we want.

  • @GenX4ever80s LOL. Nothing like having a stuck-up, "holier than thou," judgemental, mean-spirited neighbor to gossip about you, and to warn the rest of the neighbors about what a terrible degenerate you are, huh?

I would bet my last dollar that that lady probably sat there and smiled in Sue Sharp's face, then turned around and cut her down behind her back. People with that type of "I'm better than you" attitude, usually don't have the guts to cut a person down to their face.

  • is this what the strangers movie is based on

  • @TheAwesomeLink yes, it's based off of this movie and two other murders kinda like it.

  • @TheAwesomeLink Actually no it wasn't. The Director Bryan Bertino said it was actually inspired by the book Helter skelter ( based on the manson Murders) and an event that happened in his neighborhood when he was young....and noit wasn't keddie. If you google The Strangers, it's right there in black and white saying it wasnt based on this case.

  • they should call Quincy, M.E i hear he solves murder case

  • Boudebe and Smartt had asked the single mother (one of the victims) to go with them to a bar and she had declined. They asked her because Boudebe didn´t have a partner to accompany him to the bar. This apparently enraged Boudebe. It isn´t any kind of rational motive but in cases like these there rarely is such. Another possible suspect is Robert Silveria, a suspect in at least 17 murders, but these murders were committed by two men and no other male suspect has been linked to Robert Silveria.

  • You don´t usually have to look too far to find the killers. Marty and Bo lived in a nearby cabin. Marty´s wife states Marty was away during the night and thinks the two men are guilty. Unfortunately forensic science was not very developed in 1981 and neither men were charged in the case but they were questioned. Both have since passed away and there is not much information about them online.

  • It´s so obvious John "Bo" Boudebe and Marty Smartt did it. That´s why Marty´s son Justin, who was in the cabin at the time of the murders, and the two boys who slept in the same room, were not killed. All others were brutally slain during the night in some kind of blood orgy. Boudebe and Smartt were the only ones with any kind of motive for the murders. And one of the victims´ jacket was found under one of Smartt´s buildings.

  • This is why I rather live in an apartment building rather then the country. Theres not enough people who would be able to help in the country, its pretty dessicated. These killers must be brought to justice. If they already were, someone please respond. It will make me feel better!

  • @THEDARKKNlGHT1939 They still have no idea who did this. Going on 30 years I think one of the perps would have to spill the beans themself if they aren't already deceased.

  • @THEDARKKNlGHT1939 But stuff like this can happen in apartment building to because someone can break in too. There is a lot of news like this one tookin in apartments.

  • @Jackieghosts True. I just thought its less likely cause there are a lot of buildings one can live in

  • @THEDARKKNlGHT1939 I was saying this for safely reasons i Don't want everyone else to get hurt

  • @THEDARKKNlGHT1939 a dont think the killer was found and yes a wouldnt like to live in the country thats why a dont but let me tell you there is all sorts of twisted people everywer in the world and these days they actuly video record the murder and leak it over internet they are aculy that sick that they dont care if they are caught its almost like satan the devil or whatever has actuly took controle and gets the better ov people a dont know if any ov you's know anything about illuminati

  • was this story base on the movie the strangers ?

  • @Jackieghosts

    Yep.

  • @bobsnowboardsprod this stuff creepys me out and thanks for the reply

  • @Jackieghosts Actually, the man who wrote the strangers used things that happened in his own experience (a woman coming to the door several times one night asking for someone) and different things from stories, but if you compare, you'll realize that the stories are quite different.

  • @sistasista856 now thats even more scaried. thank you

  • PLEASE!! HELP ME THERS SOMONE IN MY HOUSE !!! CALL 911 FOR ME !!!!

  • @ysl1 you really shouldn'tt fuck around like that

  • @TheMJMJ96 sorry was jus messin but erm these cases are fucked up huh ? freakes me out to be honest

  • fuck that old white headed trout for saying judgmental things about the lady who got killed. Negativity kills. I know that old byche doesn't know that because she is ignorant, but GOD! Noone deserves that kind of horrible end. Noone.

  • ...I thought Dana had blonde hair? Hmmm his picture they show in the book show's him with blonde hair.

  • thank you for posting this, I've been hearing a lot about this case lately. any idea when part 2 will be done? I realize it's still in production, but would love to see it when they put it out for release.

  • the definition of disturbing

  • I really want to see this doc but i dont really want to own it. does it have to be purchased? i thought it was shown for free.

  • Where's the rest?

  • is this wot that film the strangers is based on?

  • if any of these people owned even a handgun, guarantee this would have ended a lot differently.

  • They'd have been shot not stabbed.

  • this is why people own firearms, friends.

  • People who talk guns and call you friend aren't to be trusted, friend.

  • @Cordoloinar really? why? have any friends who are cops?

  • @gabba1gabba1hey Many people have owned guns and still been murdered.

  • @myg0tpurepunk They say you're more likely to be shot if you own a gun, actually.

  • Thats how lives are destroyed by such good neighbors as that one. Just so righteous. Makes me sick! Knows nothing about them but feels she is one to judge.

  • @EngleSackJus ok that was really stupid to say. no one exspects to die. it just happens when your at the wrong place at the wrong time!

  • NO WHERE IS SAFE!!!!!!

  • @daisey9182 It really never was. Hate to tell ya. NO one is safe. It just hasn't happened to every town yet. Why are these people so slow about the reality of crime. It is not like just one race of people commit this type of crime. What innocence????? in 1981? All of it is God's Country. It makes you think about the mentality and arrogance of folks. Really! It is not 1931, this is 1981 and yet they are so shocked. Lock the damned doors. You cannot trust ANYONE doesn't ANYONE get this by now?

  • I'm sorry but this is why i don't like camping or the country cause sure crime happens plenty of times in the city but some creepy people in places devoid of people be thinking up some sick shit to do to people who wonder into that area I mean being in an area far from civilization means no help, no services, and no one to hear you scream but your tortures, this is why horror movies with that theme creep people out cause it's possible

  • they never really stated it was based on that the idea of the whole people coming over asking for someone who wasn't there was said to have happened to the director as a child and supposedly they're we're hoes in his area getting robbed when no one was home i guess that asking if a certain person was home was just a way the person checked if someone was home, the killing idea probably was based on the keddie murders though so similar there's gonna be a strangers part 2

  • over 20 years, and still no sign of anyone who committed this very messed up crime. I can't believe it. No suspects. No eveidence. No DNA. No nothing. there is something really wrong with this case. I think the authorities know something. They just won't tell

  • ya know i mean the possibilites of a cold blooded murder being commited in a cabin and a girl in the family finds the bodies and she was in a cabin with a friend close by that's way to impossible and how does nobody hear or see anything that's just way to creepy and for a severally fucked up killer like this to be alive now that's way to creepy

  • Comment removed

  • I'm glad that you agree with me on this. Finally, someone does. I was beginning to think that I was the only one who honestly believed that there is something very wrong with this crazy and fucked up murder case

  • oh i agree with you on everything about this in truth i think there is so much of a conspiricy behind this first this seems like a team effort cause one person doing this just not possible especially since there's no evidence especially since Tina wasn't found until 1984 and also they had to be professional's i mean they had to have someway not to leave in footprints of blood on the floor i mean i heard they stabbed them so much the knife was bent up and there were cuts on the walls seriously

  • I couldn't have said it better myself, you put it into perspective perfectly. there is something really strange and wrong going on behind the scenes here. Or at least there was back then. Oh, and I checked out your profile. You have a pretty cool page lol I know that is completely off topic, but oh well haha I like anime too, I used to be really into Gundam Wing

  • Glad you liked my page and Gundam Wing you are so right that was the Gundam anime that got me into Gundam I'm trying to get Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 on PS3, also I'll except you invite and thatnks for the subscription you should checkout some of my current AMV's also this murder I'm sorry if this cabin was still around cause i heard it was torn down it would be one really haunted place i'm telling u i wouldn't even stay there on a bet, i feel like this is gonna b a cold case brought up in 2012.

  • Yeah, no problem at all for subscribing. It was the least I could do lol and yeah, I used to love Gundam Wing, especially the Deathsyth Hell Custom from Endless Waltz. For sure a great anime series without a doubt. I just wish I could get my hands on a good Gundam Seed dvd collection. I really want to check that one out. Your right about the murder though, this case could be brought up in future years. i would never stay in that cabin either. I feel the same exact way on that lol

  • I like gundam seed but i wouldn't want it in my collection but it was a good anime i do want g gundam in my collection though and a few others like 0080 and 083 and maybe mobile suit gundam the 1st gundam, i also need endless waltz. it's cool how they made a giant gundam in japan, is swear if gundam's become real in the future i want the winged zero from gundam wing endless waltz

  • You wouldn't recommend Gundam Seed? I played Gundam Battle Assault 3 a couple times on the old Play Station 2, and I was semi interested in checking out the series. But your right, that would be in the future to see actual Mobile suits being used or at least created. And Wing Zero is a sweet model with a ton of fire power. You can't go wrong with that lol I still stick by good old deathsythe though. i was always a big Duo Maxwell fan. I loved his character. Too goofy and funny lol

  • no i'd recommend gundam seed for you to see it was a really kick ass gundam series along with gundam seed destiny as well i was just saying i wouldn't want it in my anime collection, but yes you reallly should see it in fact kira the main protaganist is featured in dynasty warriors gundam 2 and besides my favorite characters from other gundam series he's the 3rd one i'd want to play as after heero, and domon of course, lol ^_^

  • richard rameriz!

  • My father stayed at that exact cabin when he was kid back in the 50's. He told me that Keddie was considered a nice place to vacation. It's eerie to think what would eventually occur.

In some ways, it symbolizes the death of a more friendly era. Nowadays, every house in America seems to have a gate.

  • That's true, in my opinion. Kind of wish I could grow up in the 50's. Thanks for sharing. Hope all's well.

  • Om my ....the eyes at 5:17 is scary and way creepy! In this day and age ,even for back then actually, it is awful that the law could not find a true suspect.Unfortunately, there things that the law cannot use to arrest suspects. The law protects too much! Its obvious the two men did it! An example of injustice is OJ. It was definitely him cuz, the car chase. Its crazy there are many things cops need first to officially arrest someone! Changes need made so the obvious suspects never get out of it!

  • One could even suggest crime of passion since it sounds like this woman slept around a lot and might have made someone really jealous. But again, murder suicides usually just involve gunshots. This person(s) beat and stabbed everyone. So I still say it was a full time whack job over temporary insanity or gangland crime.

  • Its scary that they never caught the person(s) who did this. With that many victims it would have to be several culprits, or maybe one with a gun, who tied them up and then used other things. But I dont know about a drug deal gone bad. The crimes were so brutal it sounds like a serial killer type. Total sociopath. Drug dealers will just shoot you and that's that.

  • Not true, some drug dealers especially those associated with Los Zetas have been reported to chop up their enemies and put them into a barrel.

  • that's so awful, it breaks my heart looking at the images of the victims!i just don't understand how someone can be so cruel...may they all rest in peace.

  • @lithium19912006 These murders were very tragic. The people responsible are definately cold-blooded sociopaths.

Then to add insult to injury, the neighbors in this video are doing nothing but putting this family down...they are being very judgemental of the victims...I believe in the saying: 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.'

  • @dslgunner1977 You know what is "tragic". It is tragic that not any of these people have stopped to think that this criminal lives AMONG THEM. It is not always "the city". They probably already KNOW who the suspects are. It appears to be a drinking town and some one has already slipped up, but what they are going to do is to capitalize off of this murder and that room and call it the "New Amityville" THAT's the tragedy of it.

  • check out at 5:17 what is wrong with those lady eyes , thats flippin crazy lol.

  • creepy

  • yeahm, too much mascara...

  • The movie can be based on many things. The director said the movie was based on his own childhood experience, when a stranger one night knocked on his parents door and asked if someone was there. They said no. The stranger moved on. They later found out the next day that several houses in the neighborhood where the owners where not home where burglarized. You can also relate the movie to the Manson murders- Sharon Tate.

  • no the strangers is based on this, on the bonus features the director said:

"a stranger came to my home asking for someone who was not there? i'm very impressed with some of the theories circulating on the Internet about the true events the movie is allegedly based on, my main inspiration for the film was from the Keddie Murders"

  • How is the movie based of these murders other than a family being murdered and no one knows who did it? If that's the case, then their are millions of murders out there the movie could be based on. Simply put, the director has clearly said what inspired him to write the movie. The Manson murders have more similarities to the movie than the Keddie Murders. Please show me in the Keddie reports where it says "someone knocked on the door asking for someone who was not there." It's nowhere.

  • based on the fact that it was in a cabin i suppose

  • Was keddie a place for visitation? Like cabins used for camping type things? Or was it somewhere you actually live?

  • it was both, if you live in califorina, it was a lot like big bear. the major difference is the area was inhabited by so few people, the area was also truly in the middle of no where, it wasn't a hugely known area or very easy to access

the 'town" itself was pretty dead, but the murder killed what little of it that there was... esp after the few people who did travel there stopped coming and it become impossible for the resort to operate.

  • So who are the prime suspects?

  • heh wowziez very interestin & creepy. I'm pretty much interested in this tragic what happen peace

  • between 1.14 and 1.28.. im assuming the picure of a small child holding a flipping GUN is a leaflet or something advertising the keddie resort, that just makes me laugh!! dont get me wrong some of my best mates are american! but the fact a small child holding a *weapon* would make people want to go there is so funny/strange to me!! maybe americans ''bond'' when shooting small fluffy animals in the wilderness? oh well, just thot id say how bizarre i find that!!

  • this made me look at it from a different perspective and it dose seem a bit bizarre lol

for most americans, it represents older beliefs/ideas about boyhood or growing up and camping, where if a dad took his boys camping they would learn how to use a gun or hunt...

  • anyone know where i can find forensic info on this case?

  • oh i'll really get a good night sleep tonight!! i live beside a forest on the outskirts in a small village! :\ and im just after watchin Strangers :O

  • omg i saw that movie today

  • I saw the strangers great movie

  • Very scary good thing I live in small, safe community on a remote island of Alaska!

    :\

  • No where is ''SAFE'' anymore :(

  • common they have to know who it is... catch the bastards that did this to the family...

  • Where is all the forensic evidence, come on someone knows something. Every community has its demons. Just because you live in a mountain community means absolutely nothing. News flash...bad things happen everywhere to all of us.

  • this was before lots of the new forensic technics. where's horatio caine when you need him

  • 2001 is before the forensic techniques were in use?? who u kidding?

  • the murders at keddie were in 1981, silly

  • i live less then 10 miles from this place, pulmas has had some crazy stuff happen, one moment its all calm, then then there are crazy murders (like this one) or half of Quincy (largest town in plumas)gets almost blown up by a sweating bag of dynamite in a dead guys trailer

  • And lastly, Apparently direct from the man (writer) himself it's also based on a childhood experience of his when he got a knock on the door by a stranger and the next morning the neighborhood had discovered that the cars had been broken in to..

Guess the writer then started thinking about what it might have been like if it had been a killer or group of killers outside his door that night, instead of a "just" a thief...

Strangers is just a soup movie made with many influences....

    -D

  • eyyouoverthere111 is right.. Strangers is loosely based on this terrible true crime and extremely loosely based on the Manson Murders (writings on the wall) If I had seen the word Pigs written anywhere I would have left the theatre..LOL

  • the strangers mate, made recently

  • does any one know if the is a movie on this pls let me know????

  • Be sure to visit the website and share your views. You can also pick up the full DVD there.

  • Seems like a copycat manson style murder, you would have thought the police would have got some forensic from the carnage, and i bet it was a drug fueled killing spree,it is nice to think that the person or persons who did this will get their justice in one shape or another if they have not already been dished it maybe one day karma will come knocking on their door with a big wooden stick,at least we all know they will rot in hell screaming their chicken shit heads off.

  • the keddie murders were a real homicide in the 1980's. the movie 'the strangers' is said to be loosely based on this, but also on the manson murders and a childhood experience of the screenwriter.

  • my mom doesnt beleive the half the strangers movie was based on this

  • Whats the deal with this?? Is it true or has this been made up to help promote a movie. Ive been on a few websites n some folk say its made up but then other argue with them??

  • the one in 2005 is fake. This is %100 true or they wouldnt have made a documentary about it and its all over the internet it happened in 1981

  • Thanks for replying. I did a bit more research about the internet and seen that it does look the real deal. I was just a bit curious as i couldnt find anything that had been posted on the internet before a few years ago.

What was it that was meant to have happened in 2005?

  • From what i have read know one knows much apart from who died and where the rest is just speculation.Very messed up stuff.

there was a roumoured keddie style murder in 2005 that "the strangers" film is inspired by but no such murder took place just made up to promote the film.

  • The kiddie mureders and themurders in 2005 get mixed up alot thats why many people belive it didnt take place. This documentary is being realesed with a book thought i should let you know if your interested.

The Strangers was loosely based on various home invasion murders, including The Manson Murders, and based upon a Austrian couple that was murdered by three teenagers in their vacation home in The Czech Republic.

The True Story Behind "The Strangers" is a mixture of three stories.

  • Thanks for the info

Yah i watch The Strangers a few nights ago and that what got me snooping about looking for info. Ive had a look on a few Keddie Murder/ Cabin 28 websites which gave me a fair bit of info.

    Cheers!!

  • No it is because the director of the movie had a stranger knock at his house when he was a little boy and asked his parents where certain people lived... A few weeks after that the same houses the starnger talked about got burgled.

  • Seems pretty obvious to me who did it - the police there are about as smart as the Boulder PD. Morons.
