It was great to see the Dalek Emperor again after all these years, although I wish they'd used his original design from the Dalek comics (a golden casing with a large spheroid head section and three globes on each panel), because that version of the Emperor could actually move.

3:00. I've always believed this to be one of the most EPIC moments in -all- Doctor Who history, new series' or old. And the Emperor was going to win, as well. Rose becomes Deus Ex Machina; basically through the will of the TARDIS, but still. Davros wanted to destroy reality, but the Dalek Emperor literally wanted to conquer the universe, the old fashioned way; and the Doctor took the notion dead seriously.

The way I see it: The Daleks must win and detonate the reality bomb in some reality since the multiverse is infinite with all probabilities occuring. However, thats the flaw in Davros's plan...the fact there are infinitely spawning universes therefore they can never be all destroyed. In short, the Daleks can erase all matter in our universe, the wavelength can destroy other universes as well, BUT it cannot destroy all universes as creation is inifinately large.. thats my opinion anyway

He may have been, because later on, when the cult of skaaro comes into it, rose mentions the emperor and they recognize him -- however the emperor may have existed in their parallel universe and not the one in which the doctor exists

Not only that but the emperor was involved in the time war and the doctor knew, theyre all in this universe. the cult of skaro built the void ship and escaped there to be sort of a time capsule so the daleks would survive. the emperor survived in a damaged ship or as he put put it 'crippled but alive'

You seem to have misunderstood. I wasn't saying that THIS instance of the emperor could have been from an alternate Universe -- I was saying that there could have been another Dalek emperor in this alternate reality which the Cult of Skaaro recognized.

Because the Cult of Skaaro came from the alternate Universe and they knew who the Dalek Emperor was when Rose told them she killed him, this means that their alternate Universe MUST have had a Time war, and a Dalek Emperor, too.

Daleks have almost always had different colors to differentiate the leaders from lower Daleks. When Davros usurped the Dalek leader in Remembrance of the Daleks, the Imperial Daleks were then white. But the older movie with Peter Cushing had red and black Daleks also.

I wish the Emperor Dalek was made into Toy by Character Options , they have proven that they can build BIG toys such as the Electronic Tardis Playset , so i dont see why they havint made an Emperor Dalek Toy which you can put toghter just like with a Tardis Playset . . . .
